Our driver Denver ******* was involved in an accident on 107/24. He was fully covered by our insurance as listed on ***** ******. *** **** ******* falsely reported to the state of LA that *** ******* did not have insurance and *** ********* license was suspended. *** ******* of this company was fully aware that *** ******* had insurance as he sent a letter to our insurance claims department Narisk. When this was pointed out to *** ******* who represented himself as a law firm to *** ******* , he became a screaming banshee. *** ******* has unlawfully caused the suspension of *** ******** license with false allegations and damaging his character and ruining his livelyhood.

*** received this uninsured subrogation claim from National General on 1/5/25.  This is from an automobile accident *** ******* was involved in on 10/7/24.  At the scene, *** ******* provided an insurance card to the police officer from Progressive.  National General contacted Progressive who advised there was no valid coverage and sent a coverage denial letter, copy of which is attached.  On 1/5/25 TGA sent a letter to *** ******* asking for valid insurance information.  *** ******* failed to respond to that notice so a petition was sent to the LA DMV with the police report and coverage denial letter from Progressive.  *** ******* was then sent 3 more subrogation notices on 2/3/25, 3/6/25 and 4/4/25, all of which went ignored by ****************************** finally contacted *** on 5/23/25 to provide the name of the employer he was working for when this loss occurred.  TGA did not receive valid insurance information until May which is 4 months after the petition was sent to the state of LA.  *** ******* never represented himself as a law firm and our letters sent to *** ******* clearly state that we are an insurance recovery division.  *** provided the LA DMV with a valid coverage denial letter and police report.  It was up the LA DMV to suspend the license, not TGA.  TGA has since sent a letter to the LA DMV and *** ******* asking that the suspension be rescinded due to the valid liability coverage finally provided by *** ********* employer less than 2 weeks ago.  *** considers this answer as satisfactory.

Around February 2023, I was involved in a car accident that damaged someones 2015 Mustang GT Taillight Cover. I was supposed to pay for the damage, but I didnt hear from anyone until mid-January to early February 2024. Thomas George informed me that I owed around $10,000 for the damages and was required to make monthly payments of $150. However, I was unable to continue the payments after I started and in April 2025 they suspended my Drivers License. To lift the suspension, I was instructed to pay $1,000, and I paid them $656. However, the agreement letter stated that I owe $12,761.53. My first payment will be $688, followed by monthly payments of $200. I am writing this to ensure that I am not being taken advantage of in this situation because ****** reviews reports other people receiving the same treatment.

*** received this subrogation assigned from National General on 4/4/23.  On that same day our opening letter was sent to *** ******* requesting insurance information.  No response received to that letter.  There were 4 letters sent after the initial letter on 5/2/23,5/31/23,6/28/23 and last one on 7/26/23.  *** ******* did not respond to any of these attempts to contact him regarding this claim.  *** sent a petition to the ************ as *** ******* did not have valid insurance coverage for this accident and was on the road illegally, violating the Financial Responsibility Law.  It was the Illinois DMV that suspended *** ******** driver license, not TGA.  *** ******* finally called TGA on 10/30/23 to set up a payment plan because his needed his driver license back.  He was advised at that time the total amount due is $12,761.53 and he would need to set up a payment plan order to receive any paperwork to get his license back.  He made his first payment on 11/20/23 for $100 and only made 2 payments in 2024.  *** ******* was at fault for this accident and was driving an uninsured vehicle.  He is responsible for any damages and/or injuries paid out by National General for this accident.  This could have all been avoided by having valid liability coverage on his vehicle which is mandatory in the state of IL.

*** received this subrogation claim from ************************** on 12/19/24.  ******* ********* was operating an uninsured vehicle owned by **** *******.  ******* ********* failed to slow his vehicle and struck the National General insured in the rear.  National General paid out for damages and injuries to their driver totaling $17,018.46.  The police wrote a report at the scene(copy attached) and cited ******* ********* for Financial Responsibility and Following Improperly.

TGA is not harassing nor bullying *** ********* as alleged.  We mailed out 4 collection letters to *** ********* and the owner **** ******* once a month since we received the file in December.  *** ********* first call to us was on 3/26/25 to dispute the fact that our driver was injured and then he submitted this complaint.

The fact remains that *** ********* was operating an uninsured motor vehicle and caused damages and injuries to the National General insured due to his negligence.  Had the vehicle been insured, their carrier would handle this claim.

Subrogation efforts will continue against both *** ********* and *** ******* until a payment plan is set up or payment in full is received.

      Business Response

      Date: 12/31/2024

In response to the petitioner's complaint:

      - TGA has generated 3 letters to the petitioner since this file was received by our office, indicating our involvement.

      - TGA is the insurance recovery firm employed by **************************. The petitioner's statement that *** is a law firm is inaccurate.

      - TGA was sent this file by our client to pursue the petitioner who was identified as an involved party, in an automobile accident that took place on August 2, 2024 in *****

      - The petitioner was identified by the police officer who took the report and also indicated reasons for citing the petitioner on the police report.

      - The Ohio DMV was already been put on notice about this incident, since the petitioner was operating a motor vehicle with no valid liability insurance policy covering said vehicle.

      - On 11/26/24, the petitioner contacted TGA at 11:01 EST to discuss the matter. The petitioner indicated that the license would be suspended. *** discussed a payment plan to prevent that from occurring. To date, the petitioner still has not made any payments or made any further contact attempts to TGA (until this filing).

TGA will put it's file on hold for 14 days so that the petitioner can deliberate on the aforementioned. We invite the petitioner to contact TGA at ************** to discuss this matter again, and reference our file number #*******. *** will gladly also provide the petitioner with all of the supporting documentation for this loss upon contact our office again.

Thank you. We consider this reply satisfactory in answering the inquiry made.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

      [Your Answer Here]

I spoke to NATIONAL GENERAL PREMIER INSURANCE that this *** is claiming to represent regarding this accident which occurred more than a year ago. ************************** representative told me that this claim was paid and closed. They have not initiated any such reopening of this claim.

Information provided by *** was vague and no real information was provided other then that there was an accident. As far as I am concerned, if National general insurance had any such issue, they would have reached out to me directly.

TGA needs to close this fake claim and stop harassing me.

We were assigned this subrogation file from ********************************** regarding an automobile accident that occurred on 6/24/23 in **********, ***  **** ***** was paid by ********************************** in error for this claim and the file was referred to *** to collect that money back that was paid to him in error.  I have attached proof of those payments.

*** spoke with **** ***** on 11/12/24 and advised him of the claim for reimbursement so he is well aware of who we are and why we are pursuing him.  *** ***** was the at fault party in this accident and was paid in error by National General.

TGA has been a well respected and top tier insurance recovery firm since 1970.  This is not a fictitious claim as alleged by *** *****.

The letters *** sends out includes pertinent information for the recipient to contact us such as the date of loss, client name and amount of damages as well as TGA's contact information.

*** ***** will receive no more written or verbal attempted communication from our office as of this writing.

We consider this complaint as satisfactorily answered.

This subrogation claim was assigned by *********************************** to pursue a claim for damages from an automobile accident that occurred on 1/6/24 in ********, OR.  The vehicle that struck the National General insured vehicle was a 1998 ****** Rav 4 with a vin #*****************.  This vehicle was originally owned by a ***** *****.  We received an email from *** ******* attorney who advised us that the vehicle was sold prior to the accident to ****** **** ***** **  on 6/14/23, proof is attached.

************ is the at fault party and National General/Esurance is seeking reimbursement of the damages they paid for the repairs to their insured's vehicle due to the negligence of ************.

TGA will continue pursuit against ************ until they either provide us with valid liability insurance for the date of loss or contact our office to set up a payment arrangement.

We consider this as satisfactorily answered.

*** ***** contacted our company on 11/14/24 at 3:45pm EST advising he understood the reason for pursuit and wants to make payment.  *** ***** was advised that he will not be removed without providing a bill of sale to which he advised that he has no proof he gifted said vehicle.

Pursuit against *** ***** will continue until he can provide proof to us that he did not own said vehicle when this accident occurred.  Giving a name and phone number is not sufficient evidence.

      TGA's file will remain open.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

First, simply because there is no Thomas George that works for Thomas George Associates is a ridiculous reason to refuse to acknowledge my request. I have attempted to notify *** that I am fully insured and that their efforts to try to collect for me is in error and therefore, I believe it is fraudulent. Both *****, who I suppose is their client, and my insurance company, *******, have denied any further responsibility on my part and therefore is there is absolutely NO reason for *** to be contacting me and demanding payment.  In fact, my agent, **** ***** at *******, told me today that *** is a scam and to disregard their attempts to collect. Again, I am fully insured, so they should NOT be contacting me directly.  TGAs response is a bit threatening, as if they are going to send this to collections-and therefore harm my credit-simply because they can. I suggest they contact their client and correct their error. And I DO DEMAND AN APOLOGY!

      Business Response

      Date: 11/07/2024

In response to the petitioners allegations:

      1. This matter was placed with our office as an uninsured motorist claim, where our client holds subrogation rights to recover for damages incurred to their insureds vehicle.

      2.  This is the first TGA is hearing of an allegation that there was a conversation the petitioner had with our client, alleging that our client closed their file. No such information ever reached our office.

      3. TGA communicated verbally with the petitioner 1 time on 7/18/24 at 11:22am where the petitioner stated the claim was "fake" and hung up on us. A single word of "fake" is not a satisfactory dispute. Collection letters in compliance with ***** Laws were sent after that to try and establish what the actual dispute is, so that we could approach our client about it.

      4. The attached letter provided by the petitioner with the handwritten remarks still has not reached out office. Judging by the date our letter was actually sent (October 29, 2024) and the time it takes to arrive via the *****************, we would deduce arrival sometime soon. Please also note that the handwritten remarks indicate a message was left for **** ***** (*** does not employ a **** *****) and a message was left for Thomas George (there is no person named Thomas George, that is the company name). Hence, the authenticity of these statements are certainly in question.

As far as the rest of what the petitioner has indicated, *** has been a well respected and top tier insurance recovery firm since 1970. *** is not, nor have we ever been a credit reporting agency. This is a subrogation loss. *** performs our duties based on information provided by our client who owns the claim. Hence, there will be no "apology" forthcoming.

The petitioner will receive no more written or verbal attempted communication from our office as of this writing. We everything here within to our client and determine how they wish to proceed.

We consider this complaint satisfactorily answered.

This business is attempting to collect money from me for an accident that had nothing to do with me. I was not in the car, the car was not in my name nor was the insurance yet they want me to pay. They sent a vague letter with no explanation and no information pertaining to the incident that they are trying to collect payment for.

Please be advised that TGA already closed our file today after the conversation initiated by the petitioner at 8:42 EST this morning; by which a a dispute was indicated.

We consider our response satisfactory to what is requested.
