We signed a contract on August 6th, 2025. The salesman was ******* us and wouldnt let us read the contract. I begged him for a copy ..but he said Alure would send it! The copy was sent on August 11th, 2025! Well beyond the 3 days for us to legally cancel the contract! We were remodeling our bathroom as a disability one. We were promised a disability toilet..but when the workmen arrived..they only had a toilet that was 1 higher than our regular toilet. We were also assured that our old bathroom tile would be removed..checked for water damage ..then a new tile floor would be installed. When the workmen came, they told me no tile would be removed and that a new floor would be placed over our old! ( Not what we were promised!) I paid them a down payment of $8,706.00..This is why they didnt send us a copy of the contract until after the 3 days of signing! We are two elderly women who were taken advantaged of.We chose this company because of their good reputation. The salesman who deceived us, ****** *********..came to our home that day and tried to explain Explain what? That he lied about the disability toilet..that he lied about taking up the old tile and replacing it with a new floor..That he lied about no subcontractors would be used and only Certified Alure workers would be used! There was no Alure name on any of the trucks and no worker had Alure on their shirt. (This could have been a home invasion for all we knew!) I told ****** ********* that we wanted our money back! He said OK..then went on his computerI told him I wanted it in writing that I would get my money back!He then called his boss & said the boss said I wouldnt get my money back! He lied yet again! As soon as they got their down payment from us..They were satisfied! I cant even give this company a 1 star. They get 0 stars!

In 2017 I had a beautiful ****** kitchen remodel done that I was very happy with However, One year lated we has a ****** total bathroom remodel done that we were not happy with. I was out of the house for part of the remodel. When I returned they were putting the floor down. I stopped them and told them that was not the floor I saw in the showroom. They said it was the same name as what I picked out. The one I saw in the showroom had clean lines and was very simple. The one i got was very blotchy, dark and dirty looking. No matter how many times I clean it. They did not correct the problem or even try to make it right. So I have been looking at this blotchy ugly floor for 6 years now. I made a few attemps to get them to rectify the situation. I have spoken to the managers, I have spoken to and emailed their main office with no responces. For a big company, they don't seem to care about their customers once they get paid. We spent ****** on two room remodels and they could care less. When the work was being done they were the nicest people but after they were paid they weren't willing to hear me. Be careful who you deal with when spending your hard earned money. Very disappointed...

I made a deal with Alure for home renovations on 11/19 and signed a contract on 1/20. The contract stated they would complete the job in 4-5 months. Pandemic? understood! Job started on 4/21. It is 11/23 and the job is only 70% done. I called senior management on 4/22 and 9/23 & they cannot be reached. Project stages are done little by little and subcontractors come 2-3 hours a day. A 45-month project is going on to year 4. Almost 2 years after signed contract, Sales rep, charged more money for railing because the price changed. Paid the extra 2.5K and he later tried to charge an additional 5K because the door price went up even though several months before he had stated in an email there would be no additional charges. I have requested a project schedule since the start date, 4/21. It is 11/23 and I am still waiting for the schedule. 3 ******* with open walls and my heating bills are through the roof. The project manager doesnt care. Good at what he does, but what good is it with such a poor customer service and lack of communication. Alure is expensive and the service is not top quality. Advice to those people doing renovations: 1. Don't ever pay ahead of time. 2. Have a good lawyer review contract. spend the extra $$, it will save you headaches.

I had Alure do extensive work on my home in ****, siding, windows, bathroom and kitchen remodeling and in 2009 I had them convert my garage into a spa. Almost $200k altogether. In 2010 I started having roof problems that were blown off, and even though it was under warranty they offered to SPLIT the cost of a new roof with me 50/50, $7500 each in 2019. I declined and had a new 30 year roof done for $12k. I paid for TWO roofs in the span of 15 years because of Alure, as well as other details that have had to be corrected. I am now (2023) selling my home and discovered that there's still an open permit for the spa! Now my closing is delayed and I have to finish the paperwork that I PAID THEM TO DO. Stay away from their overpriced, shoddy workmanship!!!
