On April 2nd 2022 I met with CPA *********************** through his office TAX TARGET GROUP LLC. Prior to this meeting his office requested many of my tax documents prior to meeting ****************. When we spoke he stated his office already had done most of my tax returns but still need more information from my prior CPA. My wife and I explained we were not ready to move forward but he explained there would still be a fee of $325 and if we decided to move forward with him he would take that office the $325 off his office fee. On April 6th we decided to move forward, provide **************** with the remaining documents and another payment of $675. When I left his office they stated my tax returns for 2021 were filed. I was expecting to pay a tax fee for ** state and receive a refund from federal. After a couple of weeks neither the fee nor the refund developed. I called the office and they claimed an extension was filed and not to worry. Of course I was extremely upset because at no moment with either **************** or his office did anyone speak of an extension. After calling the *** an extension was file on April 19th, 2022 and went into effect the next day. Currently I have till July 14, 2022 to file my taxes. I still decided to be patient and wait for them to file my returns because they stated they would take care of it. After weeks of emails and phone calls they have yet to file my returns and blame the issue on a system software glitch. At this point all I have received from the their office is excuses, fake promises of returning calls, and it seems there is no attempt to make this right.
