I left behind a set of Apple AirPods at ********** airport on 10 April 2023. I used the web to try and find a way to file a report with ********** lost and found. Tour ALF website came up first. Assuming this was the official ********** lost and found, I filled in the info and filed my request. At the end, I was asked to pay $37. I figured this would be for return shipping. Upon later discovering that this was a kind of list and found service, I immediately requested a refund by email, dated 12 April. The company got back with me, stating that they would immediately issue a full refund, request number ******. This was never received. ********************* later contacted me by email regarding my lost item. Since I had not received my refund, I gave her the info she requested. We corresponded several times over the next 6 weeks, and I finally requested my refund once again, since they clearly had not returned my lost item, despite the fact that Id given its Apple Find My location at a police station near the airport, which was consistent every time I checked the app and it updated the AirPods last location. Its been over 2 months since the initial request for a refund, and *** requested it both within the initial refund request time period and also after they had failed to return my item within the agreed upon 30 days. I would like an actual refund from this company. A check would be best at this point.
