1 starThe sell you a bag for $3500 and then when you sell that same condition bag back, not only do they hold funds for an astronomical amount of time, they take a huge percentage and offer less than half the price paid. Dont use their service!Review fromGina R

1 starI want to start by saying I have a long history of buying and selling with rebag, with my first purchase back in 2016. I have never had any poor experiences until now. I sent this to the company earlier this week and got zero response...Hello, I wanted to reach out prior to filing a BBB Complaint on your company practices, as I have been a true loyal customer of ********************** for years and very disappointed in how this process of selling bags has changed so much and seems very dishonest in your treatment of ************ bags were shipped quickly and were fully reviewed and vetted on 8/13 and 8/15. (Order numbers in subject line). I called today as I was curious on why they aren't approved for payment and when speaking to your customer service agent they advised that there was nothing wrong with my bags and that I will be paid the original agreed upon amount on 9/15??? Why another month? I got a lot of runaround about how this is just how we do it now, it's apparently not up to 5 weeks for processing, its a definitive timeline..... This is shady and I think they are well aware based on the horrible recent BBB reviews, and to treat long term customers who have bought and sold bags with them for years like this is unthinkable.I furthered questioned how long til I get my money transfer, and in reading further I learned that I have to pay another 3% to get the month unless I wait another 30 days???? You are holding luxury bags that you don't own and offering them for sale like this is acceptable and it is not.I ask that you reply to my e-mail and advise me specifically why you can't pay my 1700 earlier"This may be their new policy, but that doesn't make it right, and there are a lot more competitors out there that are honoring quotes and paying customers quickly, I have loved buying from Rebag but won't buy or sell again after this experience if the continue to hold my money hostage for weeks when I did everything correctly on my end.REBAG

1 starI advise caution when consigning with them! My initial experience was disappointing. After 5 weeks of my item being sold, I encountered issues with receiving payment, despite multiple follow-ups. They claimed to have issued payment, but provided no proof, such as a payment invoice, funds in my wallet, or deposits into my seller's fund bank account. This behavior appears to be a scam, where they take your item and fail to provide payment after selling it. It took four months for my item to sell, and even after six weeks, I still hadn't received payment. BEWARE WITH REBAG SCAM!!REBAG

1 starI accepted the offer they gave to me but receive no e-mail confirmation on the accepted offer and leaving me clueless on when the pay out is going to be paid. This is really unacceptable as I needed the money and my bag has already been received by them. I sold to them so many times and has seems to have any problem until today. This is order ******.REBAG

1 starHave been selling with Rebag for years and never had an issue until this past time. Have always been paid within 25 days of my item selling (for consignment), and was told when I chatted with someone it would be 25 days. All of the sudden its 40 days and was not communicated to me until I reached out (on the website it said 30 and I pointed it out and the customer service person had nothing to say). Then I finally get paid and theres now a 3% fee for taking the money out before 15 days. So realistically you are getting paid 55 days after your item sells. The communication is nonexistent and the constant policy changes are unfair to clients who sold the item while under other conditions.REBAG

1 starSent a bag in, then was told after they received it their policy updated. No notice, nothing ever agreed on between us. Called asked for a manager 4x still no call back. 9 different chat messages all with different information and times frames. Now Im obligated to wait another 3 weeks for a payout, horrible service. No expectations. Will never do business with, beware.REBAG

1 starIm extremely disappointed with my experience with Rebag. I mailed in my bag in early July, and it was reviewed on 07/23. I promptly accepted the updated offer, which shouldve triggered a payout within 34 business daysas clearly stated on their website.However, by 07/31, I still hadnt received payment. I followed up and was informed by ********* that payouts are now being issued five weeks after the receipt datea major deviation from what was advertised. I chose the buyout option over consignment specifically for its supposed speed and convenience. Instead, I was met with delays and conflicting information.After expressing my concerns again, I was told the payout schedule has changed to sustain their long-term operations and theres nothing they can do. If this significant change had been disclosed upfront, I never would have gone through Rebag. This feels like false advertising and a serious lack of transparency.If you're considering selling to Rebag via their buyout option, I strongly advise against it. There are other platforms that are more honest and timely with their process.REBAG

1 starVer y unprofessional , no manager contacted me about my issue. I returned a bag back to the company and they emailed me saying my bag was not in the box . I contacted fed ex and Rebag , Rebag refused to write a complaint for me so fed ex can refund me . Its been over a month nowREBAG

We are sorry to hear about this situation. Our Fraud Prevention team did a thorough investigation on this request and concluded that the item was never returned to us. We received a sealed/untampered package that did not have the item you originally purchased or any item at all, just a good amount of compressed paper filling the box. Unfortunately we are not able to issue a refund until you return the item. 1 starI sold a few bags to Rebag in the past without issues. This time my bag was rejected (I never got a reason why even though in their FAQ it said the seller would get this information). The issue has nothing to do with authenticity because I bought it at that brands store myself. Now theyre shipping the bag back to me but without any insurance or signature confirmation. This is unacceptable! If the bag gets damaged during transit or missing/lost Im out a significant amount of money. Ill never do business with them again and suggest you dont do either.REBAG

1 starI sent an ****** ***** 30 bag, after I was quoted an amount for it. Well, they rejected it because per their own words I had altered the handles of the bag (repainted, which is false). They'll deny any wrongdoing, and that's on them. However, what upset me the most is that after waiting for my bag to arrive, it arrived in such a horrible condition. The box it arrived in was too small for the dimensions of my bag, hence my bag was literally squished into this small box without the dustbag I had sent it in with when I was selling it, which low and behold the dustbag was inside my bag. This is not the first review that shows this so clearly there is a track record/pattern of these procedures at Rebag. That's what lost me as a client because this bag is worth over 3k and they do not care in what conditions they send it back. If they reply to this review, do not bother providing me with guidelines or sorry statements on my bag not meeting your standards because it is all a lie. I do believe that when they do not want to buy an item they make up lies on why they're rejected. Do not bother making business with this company. Not worth your time.
