  Tunecore was a complete nightmare from the moment we joined, but we were pushed to our limit when they started randomly removing songs and offering arbitrary reasons (claiming bots were playing our tracks on Spotify...they weren't and we proved it) without providing any evidence. We'd had enough and wrote them telling them we were ending our business relationship. Fast forward about a year later only to find out that Tunecore is still listed as a Publisher on a few of our songs registered by ASCAP. We wrote ASCAP to let them know and now Tunecore is still claiming Publishing though we opted out (per our right in sec 5 of the contract) of the agreement. I don't know who is behind this company or what their intention is, but beware, these people are just evil. ****** learned on our part, hopefully ASCAP does the right thing and removes them from our lives completely.

  Tune Core denied my album submission due to sounds from third parties (i.e. samples). In my response, I provided the license(s) to validate the samples used. I was instructed that the information would be forwarded to their rights department and that I would have a response no later that 2 business days. It is now 6 days and I haven't received a response as of yet. This has exceeded my release date. I attempted to call their contact number, but was unable to speak to a representative, due to an automated recording that disconnects after their generic message ( implying that their lines are busy and to go to the site) I even sent a follow-up message and still no response. For this to be a top distributing company, they should have representatives available, especially dealing with membership payments and royalties. This is unprofessional. DO NOT USE TuneCore!!!!!!!

  Cant log in, password email reset never arrived. No support via phone, Cant Talk to a human, or leave a voicemail. I paid money and have no proof of what has been done with it.

  Where to start! Starting date Oct 1, 2023, My singing group opened an account with **********************, paid there top Pro plan fee;s in full! Ok, then we uploaded our original work with TuneCore, and they released it ok great! We thought any way! Then the actual nightmare started!! AND WOW What a nightmare it has been since! still not resolved yet to date Oct 27 2023!My Name Is ******, and my wife's name is ***,! WE are just down home, down to earth people that are new to the artist world, and let me tell you because TuneCore it has and still is one heck of a nightmare! They placed My wife's singles on all platforms yes, BUT under other African artist names we are not affiliated with! with other African groups with same name! My wife's picture is on all artwork! Everything is written,musical compositions,singer/songwriter and production done by us!they are always shifting me around to various different people through emails, they will not return [call requests) I requested a name change on our original account from starting date! BIG mistake, and for the record that was TuneCore suggested problem solver because they were trying to hold us up for more money per artist, Originally we started the account as a GROUP OF 4!changed all accounts to her name! Original group name,the account was changed, payment account and all! Ok done!wrong, now keep up ok, They had me change main artist as suggested from group name to wife's name, done! Big mistake, now since i got tired of being shifted around, i put in a take down! according to them, ( TuneCore it's all down)! Nope,.they have told we had to produce licenses showing we own all copyright rights! Before they could honor our requests! first email changed to wife's email, now they are saying because she is such a high profile artist! Not so!we're new ok! now all our music is still out! with no account access of starting account! and they deny our music is ours and that it is all down! Scammers, liars, thieves! DO NOT USE THEM!

  This company is doing some very shady practices when it comes to copyright claims for their artists. They have claimed a song that I have made due to using the same beat as one of their artists even though I have a lease agreement with the original creator of the beat who has no association with TuneCore or the whack artist they are representing. There needs to be some accountability for artists they represent to provide proof of ownership before they submit ANYTHING to the content ID systems. This is ridiculous that I have to go out of my way to prove that their artist is violating their terms of service.

  This company files scam copyright claims against ******* creators, twitch streamers, and others. They are legit trying to copyright claim for Minecraft music that is fair use and has nothing to do with their artists. Should be shut down and sued for all lost revenue from creators.

  Stay away from this company. This has been the worst experience for me as someone who released a song for the first time. My song was not on the stores that they said it would be. After contacting them for several weeks about it, they released it on only 2 stores but not on the other ones. I got tired of following up and asking questions which they never properly respond or provide any explanation. They just kept saying it was released on other stores but weeks later it still wasn't. They are liars. The customer service is horrible! I just recently cancelled my subscription and took down my release from their website and hopefully there won't be any issues with that. I have been very stressed out because of dealing with this terrible business and had paid them a yearly fee which was a total waste of money.

  Scam. Paid 50$ for a professional plan and they Rejected two of my releases but dont tell me how to fix them because of their policy

  TuneCore was a better company before Believe Music bought it. I don't understand what's their problem, lot of my artist friends who were distributing their songs through TuneCore now get the same message from the company, even I got the same message saying "we have made an internal decision not to release this content. Please do not attempt to upload any additional content on this or any other account. Thank you."Although I own the whole music, all the rights, and it is the first song that I'm releasing still most people get the same message. Upon asking what is the issue or concern so it may be resolved or rectified, they simply won't tell you what the problem is and will just say it's internal decision not to release, and not to attempt otherwise they will block the account. This is too disappointing, I would highly suggest using Distro Kid instead of this company.
