      My bad experience began when I needed a new garbage disposal unit in my kitchen. The plumber they sent diagnosed the problem as lead from the sink dran, which the warranty would not cover. Ended up spending my own money to replace the sink, garbage dispoal unit, and the under-cabinet water ***********, there was a water leak from an unknown source, so they sent a plumber who wanted to do a $700 camera search to find the source of the leak. Elite did not want to pay for the search, so that problem went unresolved. I had a plumber come and diagnose the problem, and he determined that it was an A/C unit condensation leak. So I had to pay another $70 for an A/C technician to come out and tighten up some valves. To this day, I still need a freon re-charge, which still has not been done. However, after contracting with a bathroom remodeling service that did go into the wall where the plumbing lines are leaking, I had that documented and sent it in with my claim# by email. Yesterday, I called to find out if the claim would finally be honored, and was told to call back the next morning. I called the next morning and was on hold for 30 minutes, then abrubtly hung up on. I called back, and held on for 10 more minutes, Finally I was told that once claims are closed, they are not re-opened. I said that I had asked for the claim not to be closed, but it didn't matter. If you want a Home Warranty contract that actually helps when you need it, LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE! THESE PEOPLE ONLY WANT TO TAKE YOUR MONEY!!!! They have all kinds of technicalities that protect THEM from SERVING YOUR NEEDS!!! Elite Home Warranty is nothing but an empty hole to throw money in..

      ******. As expressed by others this warranty is useless. You pay your copay for a repair and if repairs are higher than limit you have to wait over 2 months to receive your reimbursement. If this was car warranty you expect service completed upfront and no long wait times. What happens when a major system needs repair. Can you be without heat for 60 days!!Then your held hostage not able to cancel plan until your reimbursement is process. You must have an active policy in order for them to pay you! It's just a scam to prevent the cancellation

      Where do I start. Back in April/May my AC stopped working and I had called in for warranty and Elite had sent out a HVAC mechanic to diagnose the issue. This mechanic told me that I would have to re-wire my entire thermostat system to fix the issue. The mechanic then ran into issues with the warranty company and no longer wanted to continue the service. I was told that Elite HW would look for another mechanic. It took the next 2-3 weeks of me having to follow up to have Elite HW find another mechanic that ended up leaving as soon as they arrived because they do not do home warranty work. I then was able to get a neighbor, who is a HVAC mechanic, to come trouble shoot the problem, and it turns out to be a bad contactor coil. I then started the cancelation process of my policy in May. I was told it would take 30 days to process the cancelation and I would get my refund of $3,000+ back. After waiting 30 days I called back in and was told that a refund check would be sent out. On 7/1/25 I spoke with ***** ********* and received an email confirmation stating my refund check was issued 6/27/25 and it would take up to 14 days to recieve via mail. On 07/16/2025 @ 9:17 AM CST, I called in again on a status and was told that you guys are having issues with mail checks and I would receive a call from the billing department within 72 hrs to issue refund via ACH. No call was ever made. On Tuesday, 07/21/2025, I was told by ********* Synovets, a billing supervisor, who took my banking account information that my refund would be issued and I should receive my refund via ACH. On 7/22/2025, ********* called me again to say that they didn't issue my refund on 7/21/25, but confirmed it has been issued via ACH as of 7/22/25. It is 7/28/25 and I still have not received my refund. Everytime I've called in, no one could reach a supervisor or inquire about my issue. As a mortgage professional, I could never recommend this company to any of my clients.

      This place is a scam. I pay money every month for them to absolutely do nothing. My ac went out a couple months ago after many calls to them for 5 days they kept saying we can't find anyone in your area. Finally a week later they found someone and everything was denied. I ended up paying over 1000. 00. Here I am today water pump issues 5 days in and they keep saying they can't find anyone in this area. They sit and do nothing for a monthly fee. No help and when they finally find someone weeks later you're denied and having to end up paying. This company is nothing but a scam

      Watch out. They have a total limitation of $300 for the first 90 days. That does not even include the per claim fee you pay them to open the claim. They will drag you for several months just to tell you the total amount for the claim is $300 and let you hunging in there. They even have the odacity to offer me to close the claim for $71 after 6 months... I even had to pay $70 to open the claim on a $850 policy... ****! ****!

      I joined in October 2024 and in February 2025 my dishwasher dispenser was not working. This was my first claim and it was denied. Therefore I decided to cancel my contract. I received an e-mail from my agent stating "no worries at all, I will proceed with your cancellation. The refund is $300.00. Please allow 30 business days for the refund to be processed." 5 months have passed and about 10 phone calls later I still have not received my refund. What is going on???

      Unfulfilled Reimbursement for Water Heater Replacement Elite Home Warranty I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Elite Home Warranty. We purchased a home warranty plan through them with the expectation that they would uphold their contractual ************** Feb 2025 we had to replace our water heater a covered item and were told we would be reimbursed $300 as per the terms of our warranty. It has now been five months, and we have yet to receive any payment.Every time weve tried to follow up, it takes at least half an hour on the phone, only to be told that the reimbursement is in process or coming soon. Despite repeated assurances, no reimbursement has been issued.This reflects a serious lack of professionalism, poor customer service, and a failure to honor their agreement. We feel misled and frustrated, and we want to caution other homeowners considering this company.We urge Elite Home Warranty to resolve this immediately and fulfill their promise without further delay.

      I just canceled my account with **********************. I was a customer since last Autumn. Every time I call I am hold for an hour or the line disconnects. I called several months ago for a plumbing issue and was told that a check for $240 or $250 would be sent. Fast forward to today and I mention that the check was never sent and told because I was canceling my account I could not get my check. I said I havent had it in several months but it is the principle. Your company failed in their process and so now I am penalized but your support is not top notch. Glad to be done with Elite and not sure how they have such a high ranking. Members portal has been under construction the entire I have been a member which is why I have to call and wait forever for a person. I would not suggest Elite to anyone.

      As a disabled Veteran I rely on others especially electric and plumbing issues. But Elite was useless as a had a pipe bust and they denied the claim. Then the plumber they did send (Titan plumbing) after I paid over $1000 dollars cut wires and of.course didn't fix them correctly I then had to pay an electrician to fix that issue. I then was told I needed my hot water heater replaced and once again I called them and that claim was also denied and I again paid over $2000 for that even though they would send me $500 but I had to pay my monthly fee and 140 for the 2 call outs. Just people do research this isn't the company that really cares or helps My mistake.
