    I signed up for their subscription and specifically put 8 weeks for the frequency. I also elected to only purchase the shampoo and conditioner again, not the hair mask (which was in my original order). This scam of a company changed the frequency to 4 weeks, added the hair mask, and charged me over $100 WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. I emailed them immediately to cancel the shipment and have not heard back. The items have now shipped. They do not have a phone number and do not ever respond to emails. They need to be shut down, as they are running a scam. Please pursue a thorough investigation as it is clear they are changing subscription details and frequency without customer consent. This business must be shut down.

    I'm having a similar issue to a previous complaint. "Prose hair and skincare allows the buyer to choose one time purchase or subscription purchase that recurs each month. When you choose one time purchase they still sign you up for recurring shipments, which are then sent and they claim its too late to cancel. They also take a small discount off your one time purchase and later say that is the subscription discount. Its a total scam. I most definitely chose one time purchase throughout the buying process!!" My complaint is I never subscribed to these multiple product they claimed to have sent, I never received the original items, but started receiving refill envelopes of hair supplements. I've been out of town two months, while these 2 shipments of envelopes of supplements were received. Upon my return I was surprised to see them, so looked up the company and saw that I was subscribed to receive these every month. The reason I know that I didn't place this order is because my name is grossly misspelled and 2 of the ingredients in those supplements I am allergic to (I always look up ingredients of products before I buy them). I've tried reaching out to the company but find it shady that they don't have a customer service contact source nor phone number or address. I'm not sure how to proceed as I went online yesterday and canceled all future shipments and received an email this morning indicating that my order is being processed for shipment. This is apparently going to be a major headache for me. Very sketchy.

    At cart, we offer the option to subscribe to your products and immediately unlock perks like the 15% discount. But if you're not ready to commit, you can select the "Buy once" option under each item instead. After signing up, you shouldve received both an order and subscription confirmation email.

    I'm also sorry to hear that your products had a typo for the name. We use the name provided during account sign-up.

    We responded to your email for a cancellation and can confirm that we were able to cancel and refund your order as well as cancel the subscription. We have a contact form available on our website for any additional questions that you may have.
