      I needed to cancel a subscription and was unable to find a way to do it online. The company responded to my email within 24 hours and canceled my subscription. After reading reviews about poor customer service I was pleased with the response and promptness of their reply.

      I had purchased hair and skin care products that we're supposed to be formulated based on my hair and skin type and address specific needs that I had. I didn't like them and ended up canceling my subscription. I was charged $135 for the skin care and they shipped it a week later. I have emailed and tried to call three separate times. No one has responded.This is a horrible experience.

      The hair care products smell as good as any other, but that is about the only good thing I can say about this company. Their customer service seems to be made up of bots that have been instructed to politely decline being helpful but they make sure to tell you how to keep your products you do not want fresh! Do not expect to easily remove subscriptions, and they would rather squeeze one last purchase out of you than maintain a future customer. I would have given their products another shot after adjustments to "the formula," and I attempted to leave my account open for this, but they charged me twice without notifying me and I missed my own reminder to "skip" - once the order is submitted they claim they cannot cancel. Judging by other reviewers here, this is an issue experienced by many and unfortunately their subpar subscription methods leave many customers with a bad taste in their mouth.

      Hair product is inferior for a substantial price. Cancelled my subscription after the second month, yet I was charged and sent a package in the third month and I was not allowed to cancel order or return. They stole $100 from me. I disputed the charge with my credit card, but I don't have proof that I cancelled in the second month because I didn't think I needed documentation. Prose claims I did not cancel and would not provide evidence on my behalf. This company is a scam and digging deeper into their practices has revealed I am not the only one this has happened to. Avoid them at all costs. Do not try their product, even if it's a free offer. They will continue to steal your money.

      I ordered just a bottle of conditioner for $35 after first trying both ********************** I quickly saw that I was charged for a set of 4 products, so I immediately emailed them to ask for a correction and refund for the charge above $35 as I still wanted just the conditioner. They responded and said they would refund me, and send my purchase. They did not do this. Weeks later I received 4 products and was charged $87. I distrust this company because they don't have live customer service by telephone, but I liked their conditioner enough to overspend the $35. It seems like they create problems and overcharge us and they hope we're too frustrated with their poor customer service so we roll over and let it happen. If I had done more research into the reviews I would not have re-ordered.

      I setup the subscription with Prose back in February 2025. It was setup to be on a 4 week reoccurring cycle. I had meant to extend the cycle but forgot and got charged again in March and got another order which was fine because I knew that was on me for forgetting and making the mistake so I didnt dispute it or anything, but I did immediately log in and change the frequency to every 12 weeks instead of every 4 because I wasnt going through the product fast enough to need another shipment cone April. I made this change around March 20th. So I shouldnt have had another reoccurring order until 06-12-2025. I woke up to a text stating my order had been confirmed and IMMEDIATELY reached out to the support team while on my way to work to ask them to cancel the subscription and order. They canceled my subscription but stated they wouldnt cancel the order because it was already in production. I was at work at this time so I waited till I was off and then emailed them again letting then know I shouldnt have been charged so soon because I got my last order March 20, 2025 and I extended the next shipment for 12 weeks out and its only been 4 weeks. They then proceeded to say that changing the frequency doesnt matter because I should have pause the next order which doesnt make any sense. I gave 4 weeks notice that I wanted my frequency to change to 12 weeks there was absolutely zero reason I should have been charged April 17, 2025. I want a refund and if I dont get one I WILL dispute this charge with my bank!
