I was charged a total of $86, including a 20% tip. I later learned that the drinks were $15 each, meaning my total should have been approximately $36$40 with tip. This discrepancy indicated I was charged for four drinks instead of ****** the time of the transaction, I noticed the bartender hesitated after pressing the payment button, as if she realized the charge may have been incorrect but chose not to address it. She continued making the drinks and did not void or correct the transaction.Due to the crowded atmosphere and overall commotion, I did not realize the overcharge immediately. Complaint Against Barclays Center Service ******************** to Follow Up To Whom It May Concern at the Better Business Bureau,I am filing this formal complaint against Barclays Center (********, **) due to negligent customer service, misrepresentation of ticket information, and failure to follow through on a documented issue.On March 29, 2025, I attended the *** concert at Barclays Center. I purchased tickets for Section 16, Row 2, Seats 6 and 7 through Ticketmaster. Upon arrival, I discovered that my seats had a severely obstructed view due to venue structures and equipment placement, which was not disclosed at the time of purchase.During the event, I immediately addressed this issue with the Barclays Center ************** team on-site. A staff member inspected my seats, acknowledged the obstruction, and assured me that the issue had been documented and that I would receive follow-up communication after the event.However, despite their clear acknowledgment and verbal commitment, Barclays Center has never contacted me since. I made a reasonable effort by raising the issue in-person, expecting the venue to act responsibly. I attended a concert at the venue- Barclays center located in ********, ** on August 12, 2024. I purchased my tickets through Ticketmaster and paid $127.70 dollars to attend the event. Barclays on their website have code of conduct and it states -Guests will not be permitted to smoke in the arena at any time (electronic cigarettes and vape pens are included in this prohibition). The immediate area around the arena is also a non-smoking campus. At the event there were multiple people smoking vapes, and marihuana. I told different security guards and not one of them did anything to stop the people from smoking inside the venue. I went to guest services and told them about the smoking, and how sick I felt from all the smoke. I also told them that I told different security guards about it and nothing was done. The supervisor at guest services said theres nothing we can do about it. That it was expected to have a smoking crowd given the music genre and dismissed me. It took another person to complaint about the smoke for the supervisor at guest services to move us to another section. Even at the other section we were moved to, people were vaping. I left the venue earlier than I expected and did not enjoy my time at the concert because I kept getting up my seat to tell security about the smoking of marihuana and vape. I requested a refund from Ticketmaster and they told me I cannot get a refund, to contact Barclays center because Ticketmaster is not responsible for what happens Inside the venue. May you please contact Barclays center and ask why they do false advertisement on their website stating they are a smoke-free venue when they allow smoking inside. For this reason I would like a full refund because had I known that they allowed smoking I wouldnt have purchased the tickets and gone to the concert. I want a refund and for the venue to enforce their code of conduct- to be transparent. If smoking is allowed they should update their code of conduct.Customer Answer

On the evening of 8/15/24 at the Future and Metro Boomin concert, I along with 150+ ppl were left outside the entry doors shortly after 9:30pm and was denied entry. It was never explained to concert goers what was going on, or what needed to take place to proceed with entry. Doors were closed staff didn't communicate. NYPD closed the door and the concert goers were never addressed at all. Due to the fact the Barclays staff and NYPD could not facilitate or found solution to let paying concert goers inside I am requesting a full refund, along with the cost of parking, and gas/mileage used to come this event. After about 2 hours the concert was nearing it's end and no one from ******* or NYPD ever informed the people what was needed, or what will or can happen at the point. I paid for parking and my ticket. I need compensation this is so unprofessional and truly shows a lack of structure and crisis/ de-escalation skills of an event venue of this size. I'm not sure if the staff on site but I have I been over 20+ events at Barclays, sports, music, comedies events and this never happen, should have never happened. Not sure if the need for more employees in the ***** services and ************** or duties not properly fulfilled but no one should go through this. All managers, directors, and head of departments need to be held accountable, and notified of this poor management. Then a course of action need to be implemented so that this does not happen again. On May 1st I attended ************ concert, I had a floor seat. During the first set a women two rows in front of me stood in her seat (foldable chair) to get a better view. Multiple people in the crowd asked her to get down, she refused. Within minutes rows of people in front and behind me began standing in their foldable chairs (see photos). I left my seat to find security and ask them to resolve the situation. Security came by and nothing changed. A safety hazard was created around me and venue staff did nothing to ensure I was able to experience the concert in a safe environment. I attended the Strength of a Women event on Saturday, May 11, 2024. I am an **************** Member cardholder and I wanted to use the privilege of using the America Express Member entrance to enter the Arena. Upon arriving the line was extremely long and half of the costumers in line were not **************** cardholders. The employees working the door entry were not doing their due diligence with verifying those with an **************** card and were letting normal ticket holders to enter. Being an America Express card holder is a privilege and a benefit that comes with the individual spending amounts of money at times using the card and for that reason we have the benefit. I was disappointed that I had to stay in line with the rest and not use my benefits at the time. The employees allowed other to enter and cut in the line that they knew of and disregarded those that were card members. I will be reaching out to America Express with this complaint as well because I'm sure they provided the privilege to Barclays Arena for their cardholders.Initial Complaint

Request for Compensation for Unsatisfactory Experience at ********************* Presents: Pink Friday 2 World Tour Dear Better Business Bureau,I attended the ********************* Presents: Pink Friday 2 World Tour at the ******* Center in ********, ********, on Wednesday May 1st, 2024. Unfortunately, my experience was significantly impacted by the behavior of other patrons and the lack of response from ******* Center security.I purchased Seat 9 in Section 4, Row 5, for $423.00, expecting a clear view of the stage. However, other patrons in the floor section stood on their seats, blocking my view as soon as ********************* appeared on stage. Despite my request to ******* Center security to address this issue, no action was taken, and my view remained obstructed throughout the concert.As a result of this unsatisfactory experience, I incurred the following expenses:$300 on airline tickets $75 on ********************* merchandise $33 on alcoholic beverages $68 on Lyft transportation I kindly request compensation for these expenses, totaling $476.00, to be refunded back to me. I have videos, pictures, and other proof of the obstructed view and the lack of response from ******* Center security, which I am willing to provide to support my complaint.I trust that you will investigate this matter and provide a fair resolution.
