Account and paid benefits missing for almost a month. Unable to reach anyone at company.Between June 23, 2023 and July 20, 2023, my Freelancers Union account and associated insurance benefits vanished. Upon attempting to log on with the most recent email ********************* I was told that no user account existed. The same occured for another individual in my household, who's account was switch to ******************** on 4/21/23 from ********************* Between the end of July and beginning of August, the former email for *********************** was added to an invalid Freelancers Union account, one in which she did not have.I've been attempting to contact the Freelancers Union since July 20, 2023. No one has responded to any emails. Additionally, I attempted to call the phones number listed with the BBB and the bank bill pay. Both numbers are invalid. The Freelancers Union, has absolutely no accurate contact information published outside of a list of emails. These emails have proven great security risk, as email is not a secure method of communication and in my case the hackers begin sending fake emails from Freelancers Union servers to myself and others in my household. Many of these emails asked for additional contact information and included attachments that consisted of malware. The bigger issue here is, the level of security and safety that has been jeopardized as the personal information for several individuals and policy contracts are now in the possession of the hackers and participants that have committed insurance fraud per state and federal law. As of now from what I have learned, Freelancers Union may have not paid out premiums to the insurance company. I need answers, direct contact information for a human at Freelancers Union, and reassurance that the Freelancers Union is working with law enforcement to protect and provide security for myself and others affected by the hijacking of disablity, life and other policies.
