      Very rude unprofessional Manger named ******* . Went in to see about a pair of contacts and she was very rude and aggressive with her tone . I stated that I feel sorry for her staff and she said her staff loves her . If I could leave 1/2 a star I would. Training is needed for this place .

      Ten years ago they were in better shape, leadership wise and customer service wise. They have fallen off in the last 5-6 years in both departments. Front desk staff are rude on and off the phone. Almost like you calling is bothering them from doing everything else but their job. At this rate this will be my last time giving them any kind of business. I rather travel another borough or neighborhood for better service. They're in a lower/working class neighborhood which is also multicultural and they deal with a lot of elders. They speak to folks as if they have better things to do, almost discriminating against someone if your insurance is subpar or you are an elder. God forbid you ask questions and know your rights, especially in regards to your insurance policy. They are beyond disgusting in behavior. I have been going here since I was a child and the decline is noticeable and rapid, I don't give a c*** how much you renovate or got rid of people when service is trash and hounding people to buy frames when they've clearly said they're disinterested. They need a reality check and a attitude adjustment in this place.

      i am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Metro Optics Eyewear located in the *****. On July 26 2024 I visited their store and encountered an extremely unpleasant and unprofessional experience with one of their employees.As a non-English speaker, I requested assistance with translation to Spanish. However, the employee I approached responded in a manner that was not only unhelpful but also disrespectful. She told me, You dont need to tell me what to do, you dont own this, which I found to be highly unprofessional and offensive. Her attitude was very nasty and dismissive.I believe that businesses, especially those in diverse communities like the *****, should provide adequate assistance to non-English speaking customers and treat all customers with respect and courtesy. The behavior of this employee was unacceptable and not in line with the customer service standards that I expect from a reputable business.I am requesting that the Better Business Bureau look into this matter and take appropriate action to ensure that Metro Optics Eyewear improves its customer service and provides proper training to its employees to handle such situations with professionalism and respect.Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response.

      I ordered a pair of Versace readers on 3/25/24, they said it would take 2 weeks, it is now almost a month with no readers, a phone call or anything for the inconvenience from Metro Optics. I a beyond disappointed with Metro Optics. They called last week to say that the glasses were ready, I arrived only to find they made the same pair of eyeglasses I had picked up a week earlier. What happened to my readers?

      The service I received at Metro Optics on Saturday, December 10, 2022 was outstanding....Everyone was caring and so helpful, especially ******, the Manager....She went above and beyond for the treatment of my eye problem.....I would like to personally thank the ******* ****** and the entire staff for their excellent treatment of care on my visit.
