I registered for this school over 30 years ago, took out a student loan. I went half a semester and had to stop going due to life circumstances. But the student I had was paid for shortly after over 20 years ago.Just last year, 2022. An unpaid student loan appeared on my credit report for $1,098.56, saying 116 percent was paid off and I was making payments this whole time. What a scam, and when I requested more information from the agency, I was provided with a promissory note that wasn't in my handwriting, the date was not even around the time I was attending the school. And I had no way to fight it and said since it's ******* Loan, I have to pay it, so I did. They referred me back to Pace. Someone needs to look into this as I believe this school is doing shady business and ruin students. A 30-year fake loan all of a sudden appearing on your credit report is fraud. Why wasn't I notified 25 years ago about this loan, when there were so many programs to help pay, and in this case being a fake loan, I'm sure it would have been dismissed. **** didn't do anything to help.I was first working with the Agency, but they referred me back to ***************.I opened a ticket with ***************, but they just brushed me off and closed the ticket.Ticket *******.Please do not take out a student loan from this school.
