    September of 2023 I contacted Fur & Feathers wildlife control about bats in our attic. The owner Jason came promptly on the appointment day to explain the process of removing the bats and gave me a quote. He also said that price would include a 3 year warranty so if we saw any bats after he had completed the job that he would come right back and take care of them. I gave him a $900 check so he could schedule the job. He showed up the following week with a net that he put over the chimney and soffit. He came back weeks later in October which was supposed to be part of the process to remove the net and seal cracks as he said he would. My husband and I are not able to climb a ladder to the peak of our roof so we took his word that the job was completed. I gave him another $900 check. This spring we noticed bats coming out of the same area around the chimney. I have called the office number numerous times and Jason has called or texted back saying he will be out Friday every time and he never shows up. He has not done a thing to keep the bats out of our attic and I believe I deserve a full refund.

    Oct. 24, 2023 - Hired Jason E. Carter at Fur & Feathers to humanely remove bats from our attic. He said he sealed the attic and cleaned up bat droppings. He said he provided a three year warrantee. We have the same bats in the same places. We texted him and he said he would come on Monday, June 17. He failed to show and has not responded to phone calls or texts. We since found out this is his SOP. He has been sued several times. He has multiple legal judgments against him. I am a person with a disability, so will contact the Attorney General.

    It has been over 15 days business days and I have not received total refund as promised by the company for a lack of service. When calling Fur and Feathers answering service, I'm not given a supervisor name, a means of contact, or a grievance procedure with concerns. The person who i wrote the check to, Jason C***** has cashed the check for the full amount requested. He failed to show over the last 5 scheduled and rescheduled appointments. He is no longer answering phone calls, texts, or emails. I have contacted their central office, at which time I was promised a full refund within 15 business days. This has not happened.

    Regarding ID complain* ********: The business reimbursed my down-payment check of 1,500. I still give the business a poor rating, as I never got service. They need to address the technician that takes down payments and then is never heard from.

    I paid Fur & Feathers Wildlife Control $300, plus I had to pay another contractor $150 to clean up.
    Fur & Feathers Wildlife Control promised raccoon trap and removal and clean up of feces on the roof.
    I am disputing that Jason Carter of Fur & Feathers did not clean up, sanitize or disinfect as promised.
    I am attaching a detailed complaint of all dates, times and things promised by Fur & Feathers Wildlife Control.
    I am also attaching before and after pictures. The before pictures are after Jason of Fur & Feathers Wildlife Control supposedly cleaned my roof. The after pictures are from my contractor of when he cleaned my roof.
    I am also attaching the invoice from Fur & Feathers Wildlife Control.
    I am also attaching the invoice from my contractor for clean up of my roof.

    Contacted Fur and Feathers (Jason Carter, if that is really his name? Unsure)) to remove squirrels from attic. Jason located point of entry within 15 minutes , set 2 traps and stated he’d check them daily. Never returned.??. Paid $550 for 2 traps that probably cost him $30

    From a referral from ****, on May 22, 2023 I called Fur and Feathers Wildlife Control regarding a bat problem. I talked to Jason C***** who said he was nearby and would check out our attic. He arrived later that afternoon informing us of a 40+ bat colony in our attic with a lot of bat guano. Jason quoted us $1,600 to put screens on the bat access places and after 3+ weeks he would return and remove all the bat guano, sanitize the area, and plug up all the access areas in the attic. We did comment that his price was doubled what **** said, but he blamed it on COVID; we paid him half and he cashed the $800 within two days.

    That was the last time we saw him. I talked to Jason several times on the phone in May, June, and July and he always responded that he'll be here "tomorrow." At some point he stopped responding to my phone calls and text messages. When he finally did respond in mid July, he said he was without a phone for a while due to a bad car accident and lost all his contacts when he got a replacement phone. But yet again, the answer was that he'll be here tomorrow. In August and September, there was no response from him to my calls or texts.

    Since November, I have been calling the Scranton office and talked several times to a receptionist who said she would pass along my request for my money back. She always told me I would receive a call back, but that never happened.

    On December 20, 2023, I emailed the Scranton office that I had been calling for weeks and listed all the facts. I received a response that same day that said I would have an $800 refund check sent to me before the end of January 2024. That has not happened. I emailed them on January 31, 2024 about contacting the BBB. There has been no response from Fur and Feathers.

    Jason Carter charged 1400 to rid squirrels from my attic and install ridge guards to prevent entry. He did not install the entire ridge guard instead put duct tape on my roof, which disappeared. I asked for a refund and he agreed to$900. His checked
    Bounced. I want my refund we agreed

    I contacted Jason Carter after finding out that I had a bat issue in my home. Jason was the first one to contact me and offer to do a free inspection of the issue. He quoted me $1600 to bat proof the roof, bat removal, and clean up. He came Oct 13th and let me know he was going to be here at 12pm but didn't show up until around 2pm. I paid no mind since traffic happens and people run late at times. He showed up and was polite and was knowledgeable about the situation. I paid him the deposit so that he can order what he needed to get and said he was coming Oct 23, 2023 to install the ridge guard. About a month later Nov 30, we noticed that there were still bats coming into the attic and bat feces. I called him immediately to rectify the issue and he texted me that he would come "tomorrow" and never showed. I gave him a week to get in touch with me about when he planned on coming back, and never did. I texted him 3 days in a row and he finally responded saying he was coming on Sat Dec 9, installed a net again and said he would be back in a week to clean up. Four days later, the net fell off of the roof and I messaged him. He said he'd be back "tomorrow" Dec 14th to fix the issues, and never showed. No communication to let me know he wasn't coming and never responded to me about rescheduling. I messaged him Dec 20, and he said he would come Dec 21 and never showed. I messaged him multiple times and left messages with him and his website phone number. He has yet to contact me. I want a refund of what I paid since no bats have been removed and communication has been horrible. I feel like I have been scammed and Jason has made no effort to rectify the issue. I am asking for a refund and am looking to take legal action if this issue does not get resolved.

    On November 7, 2023 we paid Jason Carter of Fur and Feathers Wildlife Control $1100, 50% down on his bid to remove squirrels and close entry openings in our roof. He didn't show up next week, as agreed, so I called him and he said something had come up. We have not heard from him before or since. I would like to send him a letter asking for the money back before taking further action but can't find an address for him. Can you help me find a way to reach him in writing for this request? I doubt that he will refund it and would like the request in writing before filing a police report and taking him to small claims court.
    I have read your policy and know that I should not provide personal information and hope that reporting him by name is not a violation.
