I had a decorator recommend Green *** Cleaners ************************ for cleaning my bedroom rug as i wanted to find a healthy/green non-toxic chemical option to clean a rug that is about 5years old and has pet stains on the underside (from dog urine). I called the company around 11/15/21 from the number on their website and made an appointment for them to come pick-up my rug on 11/19/21. They came and quoted me a very high price to clean the rug and then said it also needed to be 'soaked' as a way to remove the pet stains and odor (there was NO odor, which i explained) but there was dog urine that had seeped to the under side of the rug and so there was some staining around the rim of the carpet on only one side of the carpet. But the carpet really just needed a cleaning and refresh. They gave me a receipt before taking the carpet and said i had to pay ahead of time. At first they quoted me $1700 or $1800 and i said i wasn't going to pay that so they reduced the price to $1163. The receipt said NY Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning with a different phone number. When the rug was delivered the person was not equipped/able to lay it down again in the place where it was picked up so i had to get someone else in my building to lay it down. Worse, was that the carpet did NOT look like it had been cleaned AT ALL and the stains were still there! No change at all. I tried calling the company and NO ONE will call me back. I have left three messages and they keep saying a supervisor has to call me back. I finally said if i didn't hear from someone by EOD today 12/6/21, i would put the charge in dispute with my cc company and file with the BBB. No call back. Also, the charge on my card says it's from Citiclean Carpet. SO i have no idea what is going on - whether Green *** subcontracted my cleaning to another company or whether it's just a total scam. For sure, my rug was not cleaned and I just want my money back!

Do Not Do Business with ************ I called a local rug cleaning service to inquire about having a rug cleaned. Someone from this company showed up and promised that they would do a great job cleaning my rug and would return the rug in **** days. Originally, he quoted me a price of $2800 to clean he rug. When I said no, he continued to come down in price until he finally quoted me a price of $900. They took the rug on Monday, August 30. The next morning I read a few reviews and called and asked to have the rug returned. I actually drove to the address listed on the website in East Elmhurst, Queens, and was willing to pick it up. While I was driving I received a text from the person who picked up the rug informing me that the cleaning process had already begun and he actually sent me a picture with what looked like my rug being cleaned. I waited a week or two and tried to contact the same person to inquire about the rug, to no avail. Soon after, the person who took the rug texted me, asking me to text him a picture of the work order. He told me his book had gotten wet. I took a photo of the receipt and texted him back. He told me he would find out about the delivery date and let me know. I didnt hear from him and continued to text him asking about the rug, to no avail. I eventually called the number on the receipt on Tuesday, September 28, and, to my surprise, because I had called that number previously, again, to no avail, because no one picked up, someone actually picked up. They told me that the rug would be delivered on Saturday, October 2nd. On Saturday, the 2nd, someone who said his name was **** and told me he was a manager came to the house to deliver the rug. I informed him about my concerns with the process and he arranged for a $100 credit upon inspection of the rug. I noticed that the rug, which had been sturdy and difficult to roll and manage (81/2 X11) seemed to be limp as he carried it from the van. He unfolded the rug and I got down on my hands and knees to inspect the rug and actually smell it. He told me that the rug smelled because it was wrapped in plastic. I then proceeded to roll the rug up, which again, was much easier than before, and he told me that I should leave the rug opened and exposed to the air for a while. While rolling the rug, I did notice a fine powder residual left on the floor, which he said was usual after the cleaning process. We discussed how "sketchy" the whole process was and he informed us that there had been problems due to the flooding from the storm "***" but informed us that it had no impact on the rug, just the shop. At that time, trusting him and wanting to just be finished with the situation, , I agreed to pay the balance of $800. I left the rug out through Wednesday, October 6th. The odor permeated my house and, after doing some research, became concerned not only for what happened with the rug but with our health. I moved the rug out of the living space and spoke to my credit card company and sent a person from the rug cleaning company an email expressing my concern and asking them to credit my account under the circumstances. He, who said his name was *****, emailed me back telling me to call the office. When I called the office, a recording identified the company as **** **** Carpet Cleaning!? Now Im more confused and concerned! I called and spoke to someone who said her name was ****. She asked me to forward her my concerns, which I did, via email. In the email, I told them that the odor from the rug permated my home and I removed the rug from the living area. I explained that my wife and I were concerned about what had happened to the rug while they had it and had become even more concerned about our health. Someone, who told me his name was Guy, called me and told me that someone at the plant had disconnected the fans, which are used to dry the rugs after they are cleaned. He told me he would give me a credit and asked me to make another appointment to have the rug picked up and go through the process again. I told him to issue me the credit and I would speak to my wife about giving them another opportunity to clean the rug. As of today, Saturday, October 23, I have not received a credit. We recently have been in touch via email. They told me that they would issue me a $100 credit if I didn't want a "redo." I told them that they had the rug for over a month and that I didn't trust them and such a credit was totally inadequate under the circumstances. Again, do not do business with this company! No Stars as far as I'm concerned!
