Be very careful with this company. They used every opportunity to prey on unsuspecting homeowners - not providing important information needed to properly remediate mold situations. Only after I asked for the appropriate documentation regarding mold assessment was I given a "statement of work" with a quote directly in line with the remediation company they recommended. Very untrustworthy.

Environmental Assessments & Solutions, Inc. has been conducting independent environmental inspections since ****. Our company is not affiliated with any remediation contractor and never conducts any of the work we recommend. Our company was retained to conduct a mold inspection of his home. The owner provided our mold assessment report to the contractor they selected to hire for their mold remediation project. The owner again hired us to clear the mold remediation work conducted by his contractor. Our clearance inspection failed his contractors work in that the area they worked in was not clean and was not free of mold. The owner rightly should be upset at the work quality of their contractor but this in no way should reflect on the messenger who delivered the message. The owner was provided with options for documenting the failed inspection results from a letter with photos to samples of the mold staining for lab analysis at the time of the clearance inspection. The owner opted to terminate our inspection rather then document the inspection results to allow for an improvement of their contractors work quality. The mold remediation process can expose hidden conditions such as mold under building finishes which are not observable at the time of the initial inspection. When this is the case the mold contractor should inform the owner and consultant, not ignore them and hope the consultant will pass the work area at the time of the clearance. The owners frustration is understandable in that his child will be out of his bedroom longer than anticipated. However our thorough inspection which failed the contractors work performance is not evidence of a problem with our trustworthiness but only proves the thoroughness of our work and utmost regard to occupant safety over expediency.
