My complaint is with Jason from Fur & Feathers Wildlife Control and the “office”staff that repeatedly told me that somebody would contact me but nobody ever did. After taking money for the initial phase of a bat exclusion service with the 3-year warranty, Jason came and started the initial phase, enough to get his $ and lock me in. During this phase, Jason was a no-call/no-show one day and he nor the office would respond to any of my calls/texts. He finally returned and “finished” the job. Less than a year later, another bat got into the house. After again getting ghosted by Jason and the office, Jason finally replied and said he would be there. He finally came but not prepared. He said there was a “new“ hole and would have to come back with a piece of heavy aluminum to cover it. Again after 1-1/2 months of trying to reach him he text back and said he had no other jobs in the area and that’s why he hasn’t been back, yet he didn’t call/text either. When I hired him, proximity wasn’t mentioned as a reason for not coming through on a job, otherwise I wouldn’t have hired him. He said he had a job in this area next week and would come on Wednesday. Wednesday came and went and he was a no-call/no-show, AGAIN. He again ignored my calls/texts all day when I was attempting to get a time-frame of when he’d be here. I have since called the “office” and said I didn’t even want him coming back as he had started getting an attitude like I was the problem! I don’t know if there is anybody else working with this business so I’ll be looking for somebody to finish the job that he didn’t want to after taking $1500 from me. I’m not seeking a refund however, the 3-yr warranty likely wasn’t free. He “alleges” the hole is “new”, likely in an attempt to void the 3-yr warranty. He has been dishonest and unreliable since taking my money. Buyer beware!! I wished I’d seen the reviews before hiring this fraud! I don’t even know how he’s in business and still taking money from other victims!Initial Complaint

We originally hired this company in late June for a bat problem in our home. Jason came for a consult and gave us an estimate of $1400. We have gave him $700 for a deposit and set up a date for him to perform the service (7/10/25). On the day of service, he no called/no showed. The following day we contacted him and he informed us that he had an injured finger and would come the following Monday (7/14/25). After this we did some research on the company and found poor reviews. We contacted him Friday (7/11/25) and asked to be refunded. He agreed and told us the refund check should be delivered to us on Tuesday (7/22/25). When this did not happen, we continued to reach out to him with no response. We would like our $700 refund check that Jason agreed to send out.Initial Complaint

On May 9th, 2025, we hired Jason to take care of the squirrels living in our soffit. Jason charged us $500 for the removal of the squirrels, plus the soffit repairs to avoid the squirrels coming back. The first day Jason came by the house, he placed one trap on the roof near one of the entry points and told us he would be back to check the trap daily until all of the squirrels were removed. That is the opposite of what he has done. Since then, he has come by the house one time. When we have reached out to him, he tells us he is going to stop by on a specific day and then proceeds to no show. When we reach out to him asking why, he does not answer or makes excuses like “I have been sidetracked” or “I’ve been spread thin”. He also said that he came by on June 14th and set traps in the soffit. I was home this day, and he never showed up. When I questioned him about it via text, he told me he did stop by in the morning and there were traps in the soffit. He has continuously lied over and over again and then ignores us when we reach out. It has been 2 months straight of this.Initial Complaint

Paid for pest removal. Trap was set but I found it was gone about a week and a half later with no message or notice of capture. I asked about the trap being removed and the company said they caught the pest but did not provide any other info or proof. Animal is still around and I am using another company that knows about the issues with this business. Many other reviews all say the same issues of paying for a service but not coming through as promised and I should have done more research before paying.Initial Complaint

Jason from Fur feathers responded quickly to my call and promised me to catch groundhogs for $500 but I had to pay upfront. He left the traps for a week or so but we caught no groundhog. He then removed the traps without telling me and when I reached out to him he said he would come back with the trap the next day but he lied to me and never came back. I called the office twice and he said someone would get back to me but they basically ghosted me.Initial Complaint

I hired Jason Carter from Fur and Feather wild life control out of Scranton Pa. 18504 to exterminate squirrels from a building that I own in Bloomsburg. This was the middle of December 2024.
He came to the building and gave me a price and I had to give him $450 as a down payment.. the reviews from the website seemed good and i Venmo ed him the money on 12/16/24.
He came to the building soon after and set 1 trap on the roof. He’s not been seen since. The squirrels are still very much present. I’ve called the company of fur and feather at least 3 times with no callback, no receipt from the amount that was venmoed to Jason. I’ve texted and have been totally ghosted by Jason and the company. I’m out $450.00 and the squirrels are still very present.
I’d like to at least get my money back and I’ll try a more professional company to exterminate the squirrels..
When I visit the employees in the building they’ve said they’ve never seen anyone from the company there..Initial Complaint

I paid a $700 deposit to Fur and Feathers Wildlife Control to inspect our house in Owego for bats and subsequently remove them and clean our attic of any droppings or anything else by the bats. I texted him three days after the work was supposed to be performed, but did not hear back. I later received a voicemail from a woman claiming to be his wife, who indicated that he was in the hospital. She asked me to call back to discuss. I called but had to leave a voicemail, and I have not heard from her since. There is no indication that any work was performed, but our check was cashed. I subsequently saw numerous online reviews indicating that others had the same negative experience, and your website supports this as well. I am looking to have my payment refunded.Initial Complaint

Jason came for an initial consultation on Jan 17, 2025 for squirrel removal. He said he would set traps, check them daily, then repair any points of entry and offer a one year guarantee for $800. I agreed and paid $500 as a deposit.
Jason set the traps Jan 24th. That is the last contact he has had with me.
One of the traps caught a squirrel during the day on the 28th. I texted and called him that day at 5:30pm to let him know. He did not come that night or reply.
On the 29th I came home from work at 5pm and the squirrel was still trapped. I messaged him and called him to no reply. I left at least 5 messages with the call center saying the squirrel has been in a trap in the ice and snow for over 24 hours and it was extremely inhumane and an urgent matter. They said they would make sure he received the messages. I texted and left him multiple voicemails directly and he did not reply. No one came to my house to release the squirrel.
I messaged him and left messages at the call center to refund my money and take the traps but there has been no contact. I have not heard from him since the date he put the traps out and he has blocked any number I have tried to contact him with.Initial Complaint
