I signed up for deal text for hey dudes and everytime I try and use them i get an error that they are not valid in the us. And on the website everytime you click to try and add it again the amount of the order goes up. I have contacted them and the tep.told me the offer expired but could not e plain why I was getting the try after the code had expired however he couldn't tell me where it listed anywhere the expiration date. I purchased shoes they arrived but were too small. I emailed and called customer service but was told they could not be exchanged in ******. But also they could not return as they as special edition. That is listed in their return policy but the shoes were not labelled special edition and no were was final sale noted. I brought shoes for a total of $112 on 6/20/25, I went to return them on 6/28/25 and was told clearance items were final sale you cant refund it. No one told me when I originally purchased that those shoes were final sale. I read the sign as a promotional item. The promotion was buy 1/get 1 70% off. Now today the promo was buy 1/get 1 60%. Therefore its not final sale if the promotional price changes week to week. The receipt states any items with a promotional discount you can exchange or given a refund within 60 days.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: its an Outlet store so everything would be clearance or on sale. So there should be signs stating that clearance is final sale because to the consumer buy 1 get 1 70% is a promotional item. Buying an item at full price isnt clearance.

I ordered five pairs of shoes from Hey Dude shoes between June first and the eleventh and have not received my items. I contacted Hey Dude shoes by email and was told that they are still in transit and that they would speed up the delivery. That was two weeks ago. They gave me 20 percent off which came to one dollar and change. I also paid for speedy delivery on the last two pairs of shoes as well. I ordered the last two pairs on June eleventh. I feel that a month to wait for shoes is ridiculous and very unprofessional. I was never told that the delivery would take this long. Continued false advertising regarding discounts. The uploaded file shows a shoe they are advertising and a discount to use...when the discount is used, it says it does not apply. This is via text. Dear BBB,I am writing to file a formal complaint against Hey Dude regarding a refund that was promised but never fulfilled.On May 17, 2025, I placed an order for several pairs of shoes from the Hey Dude website and attempted to apply a 20% coupon during checkout. Unfortunately, the website did not apply the discount. I immediately attempted to cancel the order via their website, but the cancellation process was not feasible or functional.I promptly contacted Hey Dudes customer service by phone. The representative I spoke with acknowledged the issue and assured me that, since the order had already been processed and the coupon could no longer be applied, he would instead issue a $53.99 refundthe equivalent of the 20% discount. I was told not to worry and that the refund would be processed right away. I received an email confirmation stating that the refund had been issued.Trusting that this would be handled as promised, I did not return the full order. I only returned one pair of shoes and received a separate refund of $64.49 for that return. However, upon reviewing my **************** account weeks later, I discovered that the $53.99 refund had not been issued.I have since reached out to Hey Dude multiple times via email. Initially, they stated that the refund would be processed soon. Later, they claimed the refund had already been issued and directed me to check with my financial institution. Thank you for your follow-up. The document you referenced as being provided by the business is actually the same email I originally sent to youa message from Hey Dude stating that a refund had been issued.
The issue is not whether an email was sent claiming a refund was processed. The issue is that **************** has confirmedmultiple timesthat no refund of $53.99 was ever received, and my Hey Dude account also shows no record of such a refund.
Simply stating a refund was issued does not resolve the matter if there is no actual transaction to support it.
Since repeated attempts to resolve this with Hey Dude were unsuccessful, I escalated the matter to ****************, who conducted their own investigation and ultimately issued a refund by disputing the charge directly. They deducted the $53.99 from the original charge, effectively forcing Hey Dude to honor the refund.
While Im satisfied with the outcome from a financial standpoint, I believe its important to note that Hey Dude has continued to insist the refund was issued, despite clear evidence from my financial institution that it was not. Whether this is due to a technical issue or something else, I would appreciate it if you could communicate to the business that simply sending confirmation emailswithout a corresponding financial transactiondoes not equate to resolution.
