    I am writing this on behalf of my family member. He was denied move in for health reasons he did not disclose . He paid fees $55 app (3 ppl ) and $275 holding fee all on Jan 3,2024. Lena gave paperwork saying move in date Jan 16,2024 almost $7400. My family member had help from a business to pay for the move in “ Golden Rainbow “ when they contacted management to get the information Sara I believe her name was , was extremely rude and stated she did not have to give out there information if they did not want too, and that it was up to them to accept the help from this specific business that helps people with certain health conditions . She proceeded to say why didn’t he tell them he was going to get help from someone . What does it matter and where by law does a person have to tell you about their specific health . Once they found out what the actual company was that was helping my family member with the move in and deposit fees they discriminated against him which is not right or lawfully right . My family member works and submitted pay stubs as well but it’s not his fault he has underlined health issues and businesses who help certain people . When he asked for his money back they refused and then put the town house back on the market on Jan 15, 2024. Oakwood communities . **** Blair Barry Ct #* Las Vegas nv 89113. Then she proceeded to say maybe try another one of our communities because it’s up to each persons discretion since they are privately owned . It was disgusting how they acted like my family member had cooties . We will continue to reach out for help because we know his rights was definitely violated . We will contact news , legal aid, rights for people with disabilities. No one should ever move to any of their properties

    I wish the rating could be a 0.5 because of the way management handled me over the phone. I applied for one of Oakwood Management Company Vacancies called "The Heights". On Site manager was awesome! During the process, I called to check the status of my application and was transferred to a person named Farah. Farah was VERY Rude and obnoxious. She started off by sarcastically snarling over the phone and also chuckled stating that my application was declined and made me out to be a criminal in which I am not. TOTALLY RACIST! I would not want to live in an Oakwood Management property with a person like that handling corporate affairs.

    **** Clare Avenue Unit *, Las Vegas NV 89147 was our residence from March 4, 2022 to March 24, 2023, when we moved out after a years lease were up. We left the unit in excellent condition after touching a few push-pins markings on the walls, nothing dramatic. Any imperfections on the walls were cleared with "white" wall-paint in the tube. Then the "tenant move out statement" comes in the mail on April 26, 2023 that there's a cleaning fee $150, carpet cleaning fee $155, paint pro-rate $548.49, drywall repair-holes $75. We will take responsibility for the cleaning and carpeting totaling $305. The paint and drywall issue is not true. We had a Security Deposit with them of $820-$305=$515 refund that is due to us. Their dishonest paint and drywall repairs are a lie.
