Like the other reviews I've read, I was pressured into buying Venofye products, but also manipulated into an unprofessional massage. I was at my local mall, the Oshawa Centre, around the holidays when a rep named Sébastien roped me into a conversation. After trying products on and fawning over me with compliments, I told him no thanks, when he quickly waved over his manager. She swiftly flew in and started showing me a website with the products and their much higher prices than were being offered "today". She started throwing out things she would add on, including a gift card for a massage in their Toronto space. I have chronic back pain, and no benefits as I am a self employed artist. I jumped at the chance for a massage and caved to the offer. I have seen a lot of massage therapists throughout my life. The massage I received was unprofessional and inappropropriate to say the least. I froze on the table when I felt like the treatment crossed a professional boundary and didn't know what to do. I didn't respond in any way and just wanted to leave and when the massage was finished, the therapist manipulated me into apologizing to him. He sat on the side of the table and pouted saying he didn't know what I wanted. I just wanted to get out so I responded with something like, "oh no, it's was fine, thanks. Don't feel bad." I feel ill when I look back as a much more mature woman, understanding how wrong it all was. I now have the ability to use my voice, which I didn't have then, which is why I am leaving this review now. I think about the unpleasant experience often. I feel sick that I fell for it, and allowed myself to be coerced by such volatile business tactics. I hope this review will help someone else avoid a similar situation. To be honest, the way this company works, doesn't allow for time to look up a BBB, so I imagine the reviews will keep stacking up, as will the slimy business dealings.
