    12/27/22 I received an email billing for $19.99 for services I did not sign up for.I called the number attached to the email **************** at ************************************ and got a prerecorded message. I did not consent to this. I do not have an account with *************************************

    There is a scam going on with people using affiliate links to this credit monitoring site. Scammers list rentals on ********** and ******** (who knows where else) They ask for a credit score, sending you to the site. When the unsuspecting person pays $1 for the instant credit score, which you screenshot and send to the "landlord" you are automatically signed up for credit monitoring for $29.99/month. The $1 gets you the free credit score and a 1 week trial with the company. Not until emails come in does one realize what has happened. In the mean time, the "landlord" makes $30 a pop for every one who unknowingly signs up and you never hear from them again, the rental listing is a scam. There are hundreds of these postings all over the place online.While the sight itself seems legit, they are IMPOSSIBLE to contact. Once the 7 days is up, they hit your credit card for the $29.99 and will not give refunds no matter what. Once you finally contact them, it's a 30 minute high pressure sales pitch to get you to hang on to the subscription. They have to know this scam is going on because it's mentioned in most reviews and it's being discussed on various sites on the web. They need to put a stop to this activity. Not having an easier way, i.e. a link on their site to cancel, is unscrupulous. I have contacted my credit card company because I have been unable to contact this company. I will fight the charge. Most importantly, they need to stop with the easy affiliate links which invite scammers. ONE MORE THING!!! The name showing up on my account is NOT CORRECT. Last name is correct, but not the first. Crazy.

    We have third-party partners who offer our services, however, they are not allowed to offer our services on ********** as part of their agreement with us.     I am rejecting this response because: I would like to know exactly HOW they are dealing with 3rd party affiliates. There continues to be dozens of these types of ads all over ********** and ********* targeting unsuspecting people looking for housing. There must be much profit to the company for the affiliates to be using this scam to lure people in. Unacceptable. 

    I am out of the country. On both instances when the representative called, I tried to return call, was unable to call out of ****** on that number. I am however, able to reach others in the US.

    We have previously reached out to this member by phone twice and reached out for a third time on Jan. 12, 2023. We spoke to this member on Jan. 12, 2023. Our records indicate this member cancelled their membership five days into their seven-day trial and were charged $1. We explained to this member that we do not advertise or promote our services on *********** Indeed, Zillow or similar sites that request credit information to verify employment or qualifying for a new rental agreement. Third-party partners that do so are in violation of their agreement with us. We actively investigate potential violations and provide a way for consumers to report possible scams. We have addressed their request.

    Since July this business has been taking money out of my account but has never provided me with a service. Today I see a $19.99 charge on my account and I do not have a subscription with this business. I was looking for help with co-signing services in July that I no longer need and I was told by Co-sign Partners to sign up for this service. The worker never said there would be a monthly charge in the message. All they took initially was a $1 charge for authorization IN THE EVENT I decided to pursuer and use services. I have never been provided any services or merchandise from either of these businesses and I feel as if my information was used for this fake subscription. I would like to be refunded for the full 5 months that I have been inaccurately charged for services. I attempted to call the business this morning when I noticed the awkward charge and they claimed to be closed to observe the holiday. Today 12/23/2022 is not a holiday so I have reasonable doubt to believe that they are dodging phone calls to avoid answering to more claims. I have included images of my banking statements where the charge was harder to notice versus today when my account was much lower. And I have included the email from the co-signing business where no monthly charges were mentioned. Ill even included the text message I sent to the alleged worker and they never responded.

They claim BBB on their website so you as a BBB are involved!If they do not close my account I want their physical address.     I'm not sure of date it was maybe a week to 15 days not sure . I was checking my credit scores which wanted to charge me a dollar which I thought was for the credit scores so I paid the dollar come to find out it was apparently this identity iq . This is not what I wanted nor was I aware that it wasn't for credit score . Now they have taken 35.. 90 from my account that was intended for another payment. I really need this money back . The company says it's non refundable. Please help. Thank you .

    Between Nov 27 and Dec 10th defrauded $34.99 with a fraudulent recurring charge. There was no legitimate contract to support this charge and I had to contact my credit card company to dispute the charge. I went to the vendor website, but it states that cancellation cannot be made on their website. It creates an obstacle by providing a phone number but the office has limited hours of operation.

    I used credit sage which is a credit disputing agency and they told me they needed to use a system to pull my credit that would cost $1. I gave the lady my credit card and she charged me one dollar. This was November 16,2022. On November 27, 2022 I saw a charge on my credit card statement for $19.99 from Identity I.Q, I called the company and asked them why I was charged for this amount. They informed me that I was on a trial and I did not cancel the subscription so I was charged and there is no refund. I told the worker that I was not aware that this was a subscription. She told me me she does not have proof and I will not be refunded because the seven days had past. I was not the person that even requested the credit so how am I being charged. I am requesting a full refund because my subscription was terminated and it was also signed up by a third party that I was not aware that this was a subscription.

    I was forced to sign up for this service when I was applying for a loan. I called within the time required to cancel and they hung up on me. I just want it cancelled before they charge my bank for a high amount of money.
