I have been charged $34.99 per month for the past Year. I did not authorize the payment. I've had by card replaced, and yet, this is still being deducted from my account. I called and customer service says I do not have an account. Yet, I am being billed.Business Response

Based on the information provided to the BBB, we have no record of this customer being an ******************** member. They did not provide a valid number to the BBB for us to reach them at. Today I called this company and I spoke with *********************. I thought I was calling agency that I thought was a medical debt collections account after a it came up on my credit report. I was stupid and clicked on a sponsored link vs the actual company. Now Im signed up for a monthly subscription that I cant cancel. 1st red flag, they asked for payment and ************ implied he was the debt collection agency and this was their policy. I declined further payment as this seemed unethical and again predatory, and said I would callback. I got an email Im this time stating I was signed up for a monthly subscription for their services. I called back and asked to be transferred to ************, who was incapable of providing me prof that indeed my subscription that I did not consent to was canceled. I was supposed to be transferred to costumer service to cancel since ************ didnt have have the authorization to send me email confirmation. However, he told me Ive put the cancellation request in twice after that ************ so kindly hung up on me.Business Response

On Jul 26, I was coerced into creating an account with ******************** for a rental that, upon researching after the fact, wasn't available for for rental. I tried for days to try to cancel the account, but they kept asking questions that had no relevance to identity (like my checking account info, which they shouldn't have). Preventing me from canceling my account. I'd like my account canceled and a refund of all payments made.Business Response

IdentityIQ services are not advertised or promoted on *********** Indeed, Zillow or similar sites that request credit information to verify employment or qualifying for a new rental agreement. If someone is enrolling in IdentityIQ services because they were told to do so for verification of employment, rental agreement qualification or something similar, it is potentially a scam. Our records indicate that this member called our ******************** on August 3, 2023, and their request was addressed at this time. We called them on August 3, 2023, and again on August 4, 2023. Was directed by GetMortgageReady.com to create an MyScoreIQ account (owned by *********************. There is no way to cancel ******************, as other reputable services allow (myFICO, Experian, etc.). You are required to call, which I have tried multiple times. I place on a long hold, only to have an automated message come on saying that due to technical problems, we are unable to answer your call, and to call back in 10 min or leave a message and someone will get back to you within the hour. This is, without a doubt, a tactic used to deter people from canceling their service. And is a horrible business practice. I am not seeking financial restitution. Merely cancel my subscription, and make canceling subscriptions much easier. There is no good reason why this business should be accredited by the BBB.Business Response

Unauthorized charges were taken out of my account on July 23. $24.99 This membership was cancelled in May 2023 before trial ended. Refund the charges immediately and cancel my account, delete all personal information you have stored for my name. Additionally- even though money was withdrawn on July 23, there is no account on file for me to log into. When I request "forgotten" username or password I get an error message.Business Response
