I was in the hospital for a dislocated prosthesis of my knee. I was supplied with the knee brace that hinged and by September I can no longer use it because it broke. The velcro came off and I had no way to fix it and it wouldn't stay in place. I adjusted differently throughout the day depending on my activity. I called AA medical because the brace was less than a year old. They kept telling me they were emailing the department of therapy and no one called me back. Then about the fifth time I was told that a different manufacturer sold the brace. I asked for the phone number they would not give it to me. They said they will email the manager of that company. They didn't even tell me the name of the company. I left numerous other messages for them and they never got back to me. So I've been without a brace since September and I'm having a lot of complications because of it. My doctor's office does not carry this brace. I have gotten to the point because I have been calling them for 2 months solid almost every week and no one will get back to me that I'm going to go ahead and find a company that has this type of brace and I'm just going to pay for it out of pocket. They won't even tell me what the warranty entails. It may be one year but I got it in February 2021 and no one seems to care.
