    Hey! I've placed in two orders with this business, one in August and one on September 20th, and neither has been fulfilled months after being placed. I have contacted the business on two occasions (following their policies) and have not had a response in either case. I've opened a dispute through the ******* portal, and also haven't heard back from the business. These orders were for non-trivial amounts of money, so I'm feeling scammed and would like my money back since they did not fulfill the orders.NOTE: In the supporting documents I attached below, the discount that shows up in the order is store credit I purchased, so that amount is what I want refunded

    Timeline of my Order #***** ($178.92 total) with Boarding School Games:3/12/22: I placed an order for a board game (**********) for $159.12, including shipping. The item was a preorder, as it was not in stock at the time of purchase. On 3/17/22, the store requested an additional amount of $19.80 to account for a recent increase in the **** for the item. I paid this amount on 3/21/22.Over the following months, I periodically reached out to the store to ask about the order status and when the item might be fulfilled. The store eventually stopped responding to my emails.11/2/23: Over 1.5 years after my original order, I saw the item was widely available at many retailers. I tried one last time to get an update from Boarding School Games and received no response. At this point I was worried that the store had no intention of fulfilling the order.11/6/23: I submitted disputes with my credit card company for the $159.12 and additional $19.80. The store finally responded to our email thread that same day saying that they would work directly with the bank and cancel [the] order. Boarding School Games did not follow through with this, did not cancel the order at this time, and did not issue any refund. My credit card company ultimately did not find the dispute in my favor and recommended that I pursue a refund by filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.3/12/24: My order status page was updated to say the item was restocked but that my order was canceled, with the listed reason of it being a Fraudulent Order. I emailed the store to ask for my payment to be refunded, but they did not respond.The order was canceled without refund on 3/12/24, which falls within the last year. I would like the full amount of the order ($178.92) refunded. The store has a significant restocking fee--I feel in this instance the fee should be waived, given the length of time that the store has held onto my money (now nearly 2.5 years) and the inconvenience to me.

    On May 10 2024 I ordered 8 products for $59.79+$10.45 in shipping. The purchase was made online from boardings hook games.com. I tried to reach out to the company through their contact us form on 05/24/24 and again on 05/29/24. I have not heard anything from the business. My first resolution choice would be to receive the items promptly. My second choice would be to receive a full refund.

    Ive tried to reach out to boarding school games again on Monday but have heard no response. The status of my order changed to $35 refund, but they didnt explain why it was only partial. On Wednesday the order status changed again to cancelled. I would be fine with a complete cancellation however no refunds have been issued to my bank partial or otherwise. My new preference is to not do business with them but get a refund instead.

    I paid around 82 dollars for some board game expansions, got a notice for a zero dollar refund on one of the four items. Still waiting on it, and have tried emailing and calling to no avail. DO NOT LET THE PRICES FOOL YOU!! IN MY SEARCH FOR BARGAINS I HAVE FOUND ONLY PAIN AND SCAMMERY. HEED MY WARNINGS, JUST PURCHASE IT FROM ANYWHERE ELSE!

    An online purchase on 4/22/2023 was made for a book listed as "in stock". it was never shipped. I was told it was a special order and would be sent when it came in. it is out of print. I requested a refund for the $93.66 paid. it was never refunded. No product delivered after 7 months.No communication.They kept the money and never delivered.Order #*****

    I ordered items through their website. They informed me the items were on back order and asked me if I would like to wait till the items came in. I said yes. I then asked how long they thought it would take and they never responded. I waited a month and sent another email to which they replied. I waited another month and sent another email to which they never replied. I left a comment on their ********* they never replied. I left a comment stating how bad their customer service was and miraculously my order updated to shipped. A week later my package arrived but when I opened it there was only 1 of the 4 items I ordered. I sent them an email asking for an update on my other 3 items, no response. I left them a comment on ******** and they blocked me. I checked my emails and they never sent me any type of response or update.

    I was shopping for some (admittedly niche) miniatures which are produced by a very small firm in ******. Though I have successfully ordered from the original company in the past, I thought I would see if there was some supplier within the Continental US I could use in order to decrease external costs. Enter Boarding School Games, which (at one time) had a fair bit of positive press. Had I dug further into the search results, I likely would not have placed an order. I echo many others in saying whatever money you spend on their site is essentially subsidizing a failing business which is not capable of supporting itself through proper business practices. They do not respond to emails, which is a pitifully low threshold for a company to cross, and I suspect they do so intentionally to ensure your order is well past their "7-Day Order Cancellation" policy. Furthermore, they make no effort to have their website accurately depict inventory. In a matter of minutes after I placed my order, one item was removed due to being out-of-stock and another was spontaneously put on "backorder" despite it not being so at the time of my order--which, as I've said, was mere moments before. In addition all the other general mismanagement, the most offensive or egregious misstep is that they offer a voluntary, though *NON-REFUNDABLE*, upcharge to "Rush Your Order." The description of this service makes clear the parameters by which it operates--namely that backordering can create a delay, despite the use of this service--but, at least at the time when I clicked 'order', nothing was disclosed as a backorder. A business which was not actively and willfully making shady choices would not work so hard to insulate themselves from displeased consumers. My issue, in short: I ordered items which the company misrepresented as having, paid extra for expedited service, and instead have been met by radio silence and a package which has not even been given to a fulfilment service.

    I purchased an advertised product off of their website. Unbeknownst to me this company has mislabeled and misadvertized the product and its availability. I have tried to reach out numerous times to which I did get responses at first but have not received any contact from them in a while. I now believe that this business is fraudulent and im just being led on. I did some digging and i am not the first to get scammed by this business, their reviews and rating across multiple platforms are terrible. Ultimately I want to get my money back and for someone to step in and stop anyone else from having issues with this business.
