    I signed up for Boardsi on 10/1/2024. I was initially told that I would start receiving board member inquirites within 6 weeks. It's been 21 weeks and not one inquiry. i paid $195 upfront and then $49/mo. At one point along the way, I reached out for an update and they tried to tell me that there were ***************************** but we need to give them time to respond, that was several months ago. I tried calling the company and asking for a refund but all they did was pause my monthly membership last month. I am extremely dissapointed with this service, and after further investigation online, it's a big scam.

Which is why we always set expectations before onboarding any client with us and also offer education as well as branding to help you as our team is hard at work sourcing opportunities for you on the backend. We were able to go back through your introduction call and can confirm that you were never told 6 weeks. This is important to us as we do love feedback but also value accuracy as well. Average traction time on the platform is 3-6 months on average, which it looks like you were just coming into peak traction time.     Dear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to formally file a complaint against Boardsi. I was contacted by a representative from the company and participated in a brief introductory call regarding their services. However, during this call, I was not provided with the full details of the contract, including the costs and terms associated with their *********** was only after noticing a charge on my credit card that I discovered a link in the calendar invite, which led me to the full contract details. This method of disclosure is misleading, as no clear written information was provided upfront or before the phone call took place. Additionally, no agreement was signed, and no "first look" period was offered, as no contract was sent to me for review in advance.The setup for this service resembles that of a gym membership, where they have you sign up and then you cannot cancel. This lack of transparency and clear communication is highly unprofessional, especially considering the nature of the service, which is designed to help build professional business **************** a result, I am requesting a full refund for the charge made to my account ($395) and a written confirmation that any subscription or service agreement has been canceled. I also have concerns regarding the security of my personal information and would appreciate assurances that it has not been misused.I look forward to a prompt response and resolution.Sincerely,****** *****

    This is clearly a scam. I just want a refund or I will call my credit card company and dispute all charges and then get more aggressive. My spouse is an atty, so can easy to take legal route, but just want all my money back, and then I will just agree that it wasn't a good fit and move on.

    I signed up with Boardsi on January 9 following a call with a sales person. The sales person told numerous lies in the onboarding process, and it became immediately clear upon onboarding that the business was a scam.I was told there were 800-1000 postings on the site and that for advisory roles, the pay for these roles range from $10,000-$60,000 for 5-10 hours of work per quarter. The reality is that most of the roles were unpaid roles offering only equity. Most were companies that were startups and did not have any money, and were looking to fundraise rather than getting any sort of actual advising. I was looking for roles that paid in the amount promised, and there were nearly zero (and the ones that did pay at least that amount tended to be near full-time roles, not 5-10 hour per quarter advisory roles at all). The entire central pitch was a scam. I was also told that the company had an individual who would be helping me land interviews with companies and that they had 3-5 companies already in mind. This person did not exist nor did these companies -- I received no outreach from anyone regarding any type of support or indication that any company was ever so much as spoken to. This is despite being a very qualified advisory candidate who should in theory be interesting for a lot of roles.

    DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME Signed up in October, had onboarding call which was a joke - false promises of getting you connected with board positions paying between ******k annually.Complete scam - they do a good job selling you on the idea of using their advanced systems and experience to get you interviews. Its been three months with not one single potential opportunity.

    This is a complete waste of money. And the several months I use their service, they essentially just want to charge you $195 plus a $295 set up fee for a glorified *************** They offered a rework your rsum, but never do that. The only time I ever heard from them and almost 90 days was when I threatened to cancel. The most alarming thing is after my cancellation notice, they set up a follow up meeting, and told me that I had several people who were under review . My follow up call was met with ***** false hope, saying two of the five had moved on, but I did have three who were still under review. They were also optimistic that there were another few that may be reviewing me. Please do not waste your money , as this is just a waste of time, a waste of money, and Im gonna report them to every agency I can to ensure nobody else waste their money. That was my experience with their services. They did nothing they promised to in onboarding

    Boardsi reached out to me several times but connected on Ocotober 29, 2024. Had an intro/sales call on November 6, 2024. At the call they outlined their pricing structure and gave me various statistics. They mentioned a limited number of applicants like myself and a large number of opportunities. They stated within 1 to 3 months typically for placement. They mentioned they were going to configure my profile based on my input. Platform was made available to me on November 20, 2024. I spoke with more than 4 people through the onboarding process. Once I was online it was silent. The profile was a poorly done AI/Script. There isn't much to the search functionality. There a handful of articles and videos. A significant portion of the listing's explicit offer no compensation. The ones that do are vague. The terms and conditions were emailed after payment. Payment was done over the phone.

    12/3/2024 I wrote to Boardsi **************** to cancel my membership and refund my fees. On 12/3/2024 I received a message from Boardsi support stating that they received my inquiry to cancel my membership to use their attached Calendly link to schedule time to discuss the matter with ******** ********. I do not wish to discuss the matter as I have already wasted too much time with this flawed platform and less-than-honest company. I want my subscription cancelled immediately and no further charges administered to me at the very least. Ideally, I am due a refund $980 refund because the company's platform did not perform and the organization did not to deliver on the services agreed. Details follow.Joined 6/2024 @$395. Membership fee 9/24-11/24 $585 ___*The application process is flawed.*I attempted to apply for three roles; the platform hung up multiple times. I was unable to finalize the applications. 9/19/2024 I contacted Boardsi, ***** ********** to report the issue.I was told to clear my cache, which did not resolve the issue for those roles. No further support was offered.*Profile creation delayed; not what was agreed with Boardsi*My profile was not visible to me, nor did I approve what was eventually posted.9/19/2024 - contacted Boardsi Support to repor the delay and also that the edit function was not working.:I was told to refresh my browser, which did not work. I accessed through a different browser and was able to view the profile. To my frustration, the information listed was not what I agreed in the onboarding call. Redarding editing, Boardsi reported Boardsi is aware of some issues with the editing functionality on the boardsi dashboard. *Lack of Transparency and ****************** Options on the Platform*Moreover, there is no easy way review billing or cancel the monthly subscription through the Boardsi website. When I contacted ******************************************* they did not cancel my subscription upon request.

    Had one call with Boardsi, paid with cc for future service, attempted to cancel before the onboarding, was told the set up fee would need to be charged and I should have asked for the terms of the arrangement. Literally paid for a sales pitch.

    Boardsi contacted me on ******** saying I was qualified for a board position. I clicked to talk to Boardsi, where they told me that they are a platform that would connect me with open board positions (they lied that I was qualified for a role). In a 15min call they told me I should expect to get $20,000-$100,000 a year in consulting fees on a board. Then they say its $200 a month and a one time $200 initial setup meeting. They said in order to setup onboard meeting they needed my my credit card to setup the initial onboard meeting. I did not authorize them to charge my card. After the call, I immediately researched the company through 3rd party websites and found nothing but terrible reviews about it being a scam. I checked my credit card and they already charged me $395. I immediately emailed back and requested to cancel the onboard meeting and get a full refund. They are now saying that there are no refunds. This is a scam service and should not be allowed to conduct business like this. I received absolutely no service, Ive never been a member, yet Im out $395.
