Boardsi **** keep reaching out to me asking me for money. They are promising me thousands of dollars earned from finding a seat on a board but they make no guarantees I will get a seat on a boards. They demand $300 up front, a monthly fee around $150 and I must use my credit card. They keep asking for my full ssn and are really pushy. When I say I'm not interested, the **** become extremely rude.Business Response

I was invited to a call with Boardsi via ******** via a profile that has since been deactivated. That was a red flag but I went ahead with the call after I got an email from the company. The person on the call gave me an overview of the business, promising the potential to get a paid board seat or advisory role. I didnt know I would have to pay for the opportunity until the end of the call. $200 startup fee and $195 monthly membership. I was unsure whether to proceed but had not been able to research Boardsi before the call. Since then Ive discovered all of the notices online about how Boardsi is a scam, including the BBB site. I called and emailed them for a refund within the same hour that they called and charged me, so I have not yet received any services from them. They have not responded and there is no way for me to request a refund on their website. I would appreciate your help in refunding my money, as I do not plan to use their services after vetting them.Business Response

I joined Boardsi on 19th Mar and since then, havent had a single interest, inquiry or option offered to me despite the tall claims that were made to me. I did all the hard work on inputting the information that wasnt even modified even a slight bit by anyone.Also, with a subscription service, I would have expected a more frequent follow up vs a ******************* when I emailed for cancellation of subscription and refund of money, I was offered a free month vs refund. They also said it was against their policy which wasnt transparent at the time of enrollment. I do not need a free month when the pattern has not been reassuring.Customer Answer

Boardsi is a scam. Automatic billing to your credit card monthly with no services as promised. I completed all requirements and was not contacted by anyone for any **************** continues to bill monthly and you cannot cancel online.There are hundreds if not thousands of complaints online with the same experience. My experience with Boardsi has been nothing but shady, first intro call it was explained to me that there is plenty of opportunities on their online portal which I will get access to and was explained the fee. They were prompt in charging the fee and then the sloppy service and experience started, it took days to get the portal login and once Im on there there is nothing relevant to match my background and when I requested to cancel it was explained that fee i paid was non refundable even though it was just few days of service. The *** that got on call was also not helpful and wanted me to hold off cancelling as they have a team of people working on an outreach with my profile. All in all very shady service and business model that I would not recommend to any working professionals.Business Response

I signed up for Boardsi on August 1, 2024, based on their strong sales pitch promising high-paying board opportunities. During the initial call, I was told that a large percentage of their clients successfully land board positionssome earning $10,000 to $30,000 every three months for just a few hours of work. The representative assured me that Boardsi worked with companies actively looking for candidates like me, and that this was a worthwhile investment that would yield meaningful board placement opportunities.Unfortunately, my experience with Boardsi has been the opposite. After paying $1,565 over a period of seven months (see payment breakdown below), I received no board opportunities, interviews, or meaningful contact from any companies. As far as I can tell, the only action taken was creating a poorly formatted profile for me and placing it on their websitewithout any indication it was being actively marketed or shared with interested companies. I even raised concerns with them about the formatting of my profile, but nothing improved and there was no meaningful support or ************** is a breakdown of my payments:8/1/2024: $395 8/31/2024: $195 9/30/2024: $195 10/31/2024: $195 11/30/2024: $195 12/31/2024: $195 1/31/2025: $195 Total paid: $1,565 I feel that the service was misrepresentedespecially regarding success rates, the quality of opportunities, and the level of service provided. Boardsi is a website compiled for consulting jobs for employees to seek out. I inquired about their need for pharmacist and consulting for businesses before I signed up. They stated they had over a 100 healthcare systems that needed consulting from my niche area. It did seem a bit odd that I was paying to put my name out there on a consulting agency website, but they assured me that I could make around $30,000 per quarter. And pharmacist consultants can make around $250/ hour. So I signed up. After signing up, the company had 0 opportunities as a pharmacist , their boards require a person to have marketing, business formatting, or an IT background. I have provided screenshots from their company page and their opportunities. This company is telling anyone that they can consult for a job, when actuality you must have more to your background. With my consulting that *** done, drug manufacturers seek me out to determine if their product packaging makes sense / if people would likely need to split the tablets / if insurance coverage is viable. For this company, they had 0 manufacturers and asked very technical questions which I am not qualified to provide. Boardsi stated Id be qualified. But I am clearly not. I was contacted several times about signing up for a position with Boardsi but was unable to respond at that time. I responded to their invitation February 25 and received a call from **** who was explaining the things about the company. He stated that there was a $395 up front cost for onboarding and then a monthly $195 member fee. His sales pitch sounded realistic so I gave him my credit card info and he said someone would be contacting me for onboarding. I then received an email from ******* ********* who said she would be calling me and to forward my resume to assist with the onboarding process. The next day I got an email from ***** ********** who said the were from the success team and they had my Linked In profile and other information and they would be gathering more information about me in the onboarding call. The email looked somewhat suspicious in that it was grammatically off and it was from a different person than before. On March 3 I received a call from ******* ********* to do an onboarding process but we never proceeded any further than me asking to cancel this whole process because of the time I needed to attend to my wife and her cancer diagnosis. She agreed to cancel my payment and I received another email from her acknowledging my request and instructing me to email their support for a refund. I did email support asking for a refund afterwards. I then received a reply from ***** ********, Operations Manager, who said they received my refund and cancellation request, and the email serves as notice of completion. He said he wanted to inform me that they can reactivate my membership at any time upon request by contacting them. I was then informed by another phone call that they could only refund the $195 membership fee but not the onboarding charge of $200 because they had invested time and money to do my onboarding. However the onboarding never took place. I objected and asked for a full refund. I only received the $195 as a refund on 3-5-25.Business Response

This business is a complete scam. I signed up last September, paying the $395 initial membership fee, and agreeing to an auto deduct of $195 each month to maintain membership status. They are supposedly in the business of connecting members with potential Board placement opportunities, but in actuality they're in the business of ripping people off. They promised, among other things, help with improving my resume, support in improving my presence on social media sites in order to connect with companies that might be seeking board members, and the facilitation of communication with such companies. They did not deliver in the slightest on any of these promises. Calls I've made to the company have gone unreturned. After paying over $1100 and receiving absolutely nothing in return, I tried yet again to contact the company, this time to cancel my membership. Again I was completely blown off. I finally made contact with a *** who hurriedly said he would email me an appointment time and date -- (he never did) -- then basically hung up on me. My card was charged another $195, bringing my total loss with this company to $1370. I finally received an email from the company, saying my membership is "paused." I feel lied to, ripped off, and taken advantage of. This company should be avoided at all costs.Customer Answer
