1 starMany items that the claim are "NEW," are NOT new. They are repackaged and repackaged badly cAusing many new items to be damaged. Items that say that there are "NO MISSING PARTS, do have missing parts. They will give you a week to return the items, but then you run into the hassle of having to drive to the location to drop them off and then you have to wait for them to process your return which they say will take 3 to 5 business days..So EVERYTHING is in their terms. When you purchase and put it on your credit card, you'll see the charge IMMEDIATELY, but your credit brakes a week. I'll buy pet food, but I'm no longer buying any kind of other "stuff." They really just need to do a better job of describing the items with greater accuracy and honesty.Nellis Auction

1 starI returned 2 items same day I picked the items up. On there site it shows I received a refund but I never received it. So buyer beware.. I use MAC.BID now I will never use nellis auction again !Review fromSteven L

2 starsI have purchased many items on nellis and had many great deals. This is the 1st time I had a issue and the issue has been repeated and the support rep has even went so far as to ban my 83 year old fathers account. It all started when I went to pick up a few items I won the main item was not in my pickup and my card was still charged for it. I was upset but the said wait a few days for a refund. 2 days later I wo some more items. I went to pick up and whe. I got home I noticed the main item I wanted was not given to me and this time I was still being charged for it. After opening ing several support tickets and getting more and more angry that they would mark my ticket as "resolved" when I had no resolution. In fact I still have not been refunded. I was angry and did not come across nicely but used no profanity. I just pointed out how they should notary a ticket resolved unless it was resolved. It's resolves when I'm refunded. Because I was angry the rep banned my account and even went so far as to bam my 83 year old fathers account saying it's associated with mine. My dad lives I. A different house and is a different person. This rep has decided I was mean and is trying to offend me and ban my father. He banned me as well and will not even accept I had legitimate complaints. 5 starsCarl Perry. Peoria, Arizona. I have purchased many things from Nellis in the last few years. It is so much fun bidding against other people who are trying to save money like we are. I would recommend to anyone to try to go through Nellis. Only issue is I don't want alot of others to know about it, because they may bid on things I want also. Getting open box items at a quarter or half the price is amazing. If you can get there and bid on line. Highly do so.Review fromSusan W

2 starsThis is the email sent to Nellis Auction today.
Last Friday, my husband and I attended the opening day at your new location at the Meadows Mall .
I was very familiar with the type of shopping where everything is on the tables since I had done the same in other States.
There were no signs not to open the boxes, and the people that were walking around that worked for the company were only picking things off the floor and putting them back on the tables. They did not ask people not to open the boxes and there was nowhere Identified to be able to test the items that were purchased and this is very important. Since there was no signage indicating that there were no returns, I assumed that the same purchasing agreement that is part of the regular bidding process was in place at this location also. There was no mention when checking out that there were no returns permitted.
After we got home and started to check the 24 items that we purchased, we saw that many of them either did not work or were broken in some manner. I called the main number for the auction house on Friday.After waiting 45 minutes on hold I was able to speak with a representative. When I asked her what the return policy was on items that were defective or broken she said that there were no returns permitted. I said to her that there was no signage, indicating that there were no returns, the cashier did not indicate that there were no returns, and that since Nellis did allow returns on items purchased through the online auction, I assumed that I would be able to return items that were broken. She apologized and said no that the items were not returnable. That they were heavily discounted and that is why there was no returns. I told her that I had spent a lot of money on items that were absolutely useless to me. I asked if she would put in a call back as I would like to speak with someone in management about this.

OMG, This site is awsome. I love how easy it is to bid. I don't always win, but I still keep coming back. When I go to pick up, the staff members get to me quick, with little to no waiting. If you want to buy things at a price way below store price, then Nellis is the place to go.Review fromKeith H

1 starShill bidding in Katy. With anonymous bidding there's no way to prove if you're bidding against a Nellis bot or an actual person. There's a great deal of anecdotal evidence of unethical shill bidding. Nellis used to be great. Hopefully they make bidding transparent.Review fromBobby Z

1 starDeceptive practices, won a item, 42 seconds on the clock said I was winning a $249.00 trimmer for $30.00 if you bid with less than 30 seconds they add 30 seconds to give others time to outbid you there was no time added and it said checking thier system froze they said and that someone outbid me by $1.00 and they said there was 32 seconds added and someone won my item. I saw nothing on my end or I would have raised my bid. They just said it's in someone else's cart and they won.
I've had to return item that they said were not missing pieces but were and items that they said were not broken in good working order and every plastic bin was cracked but 1. I've received items that were not what was pictured a battery operated weed eater but in the box was a old dirty black and decker weed eater. I asked them for the item that was pictured and they said they didn't have it. They are very deceptive in the way they list items and they have a oh well attitude about your concerns. It is what it is there nothing they can do but give you a refund. I feel I was cheated out of the paper trimmer, if they added 32 seconds I should have been able to see it and I would have raised my bid. Thier response there is nothing they can do I've been outbid.
I need to find a reputable auction house like *** *******, I'll be looking there and see what else I can find.
