    I arrived an hour before my Allegiant flight and they refused to check my luggage. Security said it was too big for their scanner so I had to miss my flight. Next flight is in 4 days. This is the last time I will ever use Allegiant

    If I could give a -10 I would. There policies need to be addressed and changes. The only reason they are in business is because of their cheap flights. Their customer service on the phone is horrible, half the time you can’t understand the person you are speaking to, the counter personal at St Pete’s Clearwater all need a class in social skills and manners to customers and their pet ticket purchasing policy is just as bad. Because I needed to change my flight date, I had to pay the pet fee all over again because it’s non refundable. I didn’t ask for a refund. I just asked for one of the flight dates to be changed. Overall I have had nothing but nightmares with the last 3 flights with them and there will be no more booking through them. I’ll pay more going forward. It’s so worth it

    Arrived and waited around at an empty bag check desk. We had checked in to the flight and gotten digital boarding passes on our way, arrived 45 mins before departure, just needed someone to check our bag. Waited at an empty baggage check and someone showed up and said its too late. While we talked to them, the gate called us saying if we could make it to the gate in 10 mins from then, we'd be fine. We scramble to get rid of liquid bottles and such from a bag that would have otherwise been checked, and show up to the gate 3 mins late. We arrived at the airport with more than enough time but their ineptitude and lack of concern for customers has now cost us $660, not including nonrefundable money spent on attractions we planned for our trip. Only took 15 minutes to get through TSA, so if we didnt have to wait around for someone to for them to pretend there was nothing they could do, we wouldve been on the flight with another 15+ minutes to spare. Customer service wants to give us a voucher for the bags cost, but refuses to budge on any other compensation for a flight missed because of their own employees, not even credit towards another flight of theirs. They cited language from an email that did not match what the website said and tried to put the blame on us. Seriously, do not use Allegiant! They're not even cheaper than other airlines after all the added fees.

    Money Scamming Company DO NOT USE. We just had a death in the family, my wife on vacation with our 10 month baby in Destin, we bought a ticket for them to come to the funeral. My INFANT 10 month baby who can’t even walk was then essentially ID’d by the front desk as they did not believe she was under 24 months and said she needed a birth certificate or to pay a full adult price!!! Outrageous! 250 one way, 250 back!! For a baby who can’t walk, much less sit up by herself in a plane seat for 3 hours! They are desperate to steal your money and it’s all the employees are trained to do. I now am by myself for my grandmother funeral in WV. My wife and baby not able to be with me or be at my grandmothers funeral.. it’s honestly sick.. I wish there was more that could be done to shut this company down but all we can do is leave review. People please read these terrible reviews of this terrible company, 50 extra bucks to go with a credible company is so much more worth it.

    I attempted to cancel a car rental booked through Allegiant as part of one of their Las Vegas packages more than 24 hours before my trip, as required by their terms. However, the customer service agent advised me to wait until after the reservation, stating it would be easier to process the refund once it showed the rental wasn’t used. I followed that advice in good faith, but was later denied a refund for not canceling within the stated window.
    Despite reaching out multiple times and being told the call would be reviewed, no meaningful resolution has been offered. This experience reflects poor internal communication and misleading customer service that ultimately cost me both time and money.

    We use Allegiant to fly our college aged children back and forth from school and home. There is nothing noteworthy about the airline other than convenience of location. Their customer service, whether in person or through their customer service line/chat, is about as low as it gets. There are confusing rules surrounding refunds and flight changes and when you call to inquire it is nearly a Herculean task to get your questions answered let alone get them answered in a polite way. This airline nickel and dimes its customers and doesn't offer much for it. Jose from the Customer Service chat in particular is rude and uses quotations like he's throwing punches. Customer Service shouldn't be utilized to mock customers. Ever. Allegiant may be conveniently located, but they are hardly worth it in the end. Use with caution.

    BUYER BEWARE - THIS AIRLINE WEBSITE IS DECEPTIVE. I'm pretty good with technology, but somehow I purchased a bonus package. I kept trying to go back and remove it before buying the tickets because I couldn't figure out why the ticket got so expensive, but I couldn't change anything. I couldn't even see the breakdown of charges to see what was making it so much higher. I purchased the tickets thinking it must be all the extra taxes, flight fees etc. Once the tickets were purchased, I got the breakdown, which showed the "bonus package", which was more than the airline tickets! I did a chat with support after, and they said that there was nothing they could do. The bonus package even includes their "flex" which lets you make changes to your flight without a fee, but they still wouldn't let me make the change to not have the bonus. I'm so angry and feel very deceived!!!

    Scam insurance is a scam. They hide the “trip flex” option which actually give you the ability to cancel your trip. The insurance is a scam and this low life company is a scam. The fact the government allows entities like this to exist in commercial flights and scam people is insane.

    I have flown with Allegiant since 2022 - I’ve never truly had a bad experience, yes sometimes the flight gets delayed but it’s usually not by much more than 30 minutes to an hour or two and 9/10 times it’s something out of their control such as weather or maintenance etc . Allegiant staff is always very professional & friendly. They’re always very well presented - (in a full & classy Allegiant uniform). I never thought to leave a review honestly- until today when I realized why do we always leave bad reviews but rarely leave good? Here’s a good one - I had a women named Tea on Flight 600 & flight 621 that went out of her way to make the flight a unique & memorable one I hope Allegiant recognizes and acknowledges her for the rare gem she is !!! Dee & Grant & the other man was also very nice - I’ve been on multiple flights with them as well and can say they’ve always been very polite and accommodating and respectful ?? I’ve flown a lot of holidays and weekends , have the credit card and have honestly never encountered a negative experience! Highly recommend worth it!!

    I recently became an Allegiant cardholder, but to my dismay, I’m treated the same as any other customer. They have a dedicated customer service phone number for card members, so I decided to give them a call today. Unfortunately, the wait time was over an hour, so I left a voicemail requesting a call back. Three hours later, I still hadn’t received a response, so I called again. This time, I waited on hold for over an hour before speaking to a rude customer who didn’t even apologize for my weight. To top it off, they informed me that I couldn’t cancel my flight because it wasn’t within the seven-day window, despite the fact that I couldn’t get a hold of anyone yesterday. It was an awful experience!
