1 starDO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. They should be renamed peasant moving. They show up and despite the extensive list of furniture and boxes they tell me "this is more than we allotted". We actually had less boxes and furniture than were quoted because we had purged things. It's now going to cost DOUBLE what they quoted. Unfortunately we required storage. We called to schedule delivery. "It will be 1-2 weeks". Fine. I call a week later on a Monday. Great news your delivery will be this weekend and dispatch will call Friday. I call late Friday before they close and I was told it's scheduled for Sunday and dispatch will call Saturday with a time frame. No call Saturday. No delivery Sunday. I call Monday. It will be delivered Tuesday between 10 and 1. No delivery. I call and I'm told they are an hour away. 1.5 hours later I call and I'm told the driver is going to call you right now. No call. I call back. Let me get the driver on the line. The driver finally calls and he is just now loading our items. It will take him a couple more hours, he doesn't have help but he can deliver in the morning. They finally show up the next morning. 4 of 8 dining tables broken, broken leg to dining room table, marble side table broken, gashes and dents in multiple other items. I'm repeatedly told I'll get a report on all the broken items and the company will contact me with instructions on how to file a claim. They left, never received a report or instructions. This was not my first move but this is by far the WORST company I have ever dealt with under any circumstance. Lies, lies and more lies of how I would describe them.Review fromVIVIAN Y

1 starWAS TOLD WOULD TAKE A WEEK TO MOVE FROM TEXAS TO CALIFORNIA. NEVER SHOWED UP AND HAD TO MOVE TO WASHINGTON. STATED THEY WOULD STORE AND MOVE TO WASHINGTON WHEN READY. DID DELIVER WEEKS LATER BUT ONLY HAVE OF THE 10 BOXES THAT WERE SUPPOSED TO BE DELIVERED. OVER A MONTH, NOW THEY SAID ALL OF MY DAUGHTERS BELONGINS WERE LOST. COULD BE IN TEXAS, NEVADA OR WASHINGTON. FOLLOW UP WAS HORRIBLE, NOBODY RETURNS CALLS AND NOW HAVE TO DEAL WITH FILING A CLAIM. HAS BEEN NOTHING BUT A HEADACHE FROM DAY ONE. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS COMPANY. THEY TREATED THE SMALL MOVE HORRIBLY AND WAS CONSTANTLY TOLD THAT WE WERE NOT A PRIORITY AND OTHER BIGGER JOBS WERE HANDLED FIRST. MY DAUGHTER HAS HAD NONE OF HER SHOES OR CLOTHES FOR OVER A MONTH.Royal Moving and Storage, LLC

We regret that this customer had a less than satisfactory experience with our services and appreciate the opportunity to respond.
Our records show that this move was originally scheduled for pickup in Texas on June 24, 2025, with the customer’s first available delivery date listed as June 26, 2025. The delivery occurred on July 18, 2025, which, while later than originally anticipated, was completed within the contractual delivery window based on availability and logistical factors. We acknowledge and understand the frustration expressed over the missing items. Unfortunately, the customer’s missing items could not be located despite multiple efforts by our team to search our dispatch records, warehouse logs, and carrier communication chains.
We sincerely apologize for the delay in communication and understand the distress this situation has caused. As noted in our internal documentation, our staff, including multiple supervisors, have been actively assisting the customer, including:
-Repeated attempts to coordinate the move and resolve the delivery issue;
-Advising the customer to file a formal claim so that the matter could be fully documented and investigated;
-Providing contact information for follow-ups and escalation;
-Offering assistance with the claim process and liaising with the warehouse and dispatch teams. We understand the inconvenience this has caused and are committed to continuing to work with the customer to ensure her claim is handled appropriately and expediently. While we strive to provide reliable and timely service to all customers regardless of move size, unforeseen issues can arise in long-distance moves, especially those involving multiple states and storage arrangements.
We again apologize for the inconvenience and assure the customer that her concerns are being taken seriously.Review fromRuby J

1 starThis place screwed my friend royally. They lost over half of her stuff and what was delivered was broken. They claim there may be a truck load left in Texas. but where is it. She also received a couple pieces that didn't belong to her. The is 74 years old and has now lost all her belongings, even clothes. What kind of company does this to the elderly.Royal Moving and Storage, LLC

We are very sorry to hear about this situation and can only imagine how upsetting this must be. However, we are unable to identify which customer this complaint refers to, as no name or job reference was provided. If your friend is indeed a customer of ours, we encourage her to contact our office directly so that we can locate her file and work toward a resolution. We take all reports of lost or damaged items seriously and have established procedures in place to investigate and assist with recovery efforts, including filing claims when appropriate.

1 starI hired Royal Moving because their rep, “Josh,” swore they weren’t a broker and didn’t use third parties. That was a lie. My move was secretly handed to Moving Logistics—an awful company with terrible reviews—and I wasn’t informed until a different crew showed up, late, with paperwork that more than doubled my quote: from $2,100 to $4,700.
I went over my inventory in detail multiple times. They also told me my belongings would be stored in Reno before heading to New Orleans—another lie. Thanks to an AirTag, I found out my stuff sat in a shady Sacramento storage unit for three weeks.
They told me four or five times my things were “on the way,” with no delivery. I finally received my stuff weeks later—thankfully intact—but the stress, lies, and lack of communication were unreal.
Calls went unanswered. Emails ignored. “Call me anytime” turned into dead ends. Josh even told me not to read BBB reviews. I should’ve listened to that red flag.
Avoid Royal Moving at all costs. Manipulated Google reviews don’t reflect the truth. Check BBB, Yelp, and learn from my nightmare. I’ll never use a moving company again.Review fromWilliam R.

We are sorry to hear this and would like to clarify the situation as thoroughly as possible. Mr. **** originally booked his move with us in December 2024 for a pickup scheduled in March 2025. At the time of booking, he paid a $900 deposit, which was properly documented and confirmed by our office. In early March, approximately two weeks prior to the scheduled pickup dates, Mr. **** contacted us expressing concern after receiving calls from unfamiliar phone numbers claiming to be from our company. We verified that these calls did not originate from our office or from any of our sales representatives. We also explained that unfortunately, in this industry, some competitors or disgruntled individuals may engage in deceptive practices in an attempt to interfere with legitimate moves. Mr. **** was advised to block these suspicious numbers and to only respond to official communications from us.
Despite our efforts to reassure Mr. **** and confirm that his move was still on schedule, he later called back and accused our company of being a scam. Mr. **** informed us that he had already disputed the deposit charge with his bank. As we explained at that time, once a transaction is disputed with the customer's financial institution, the funds are frozen, and we are no longer able to issue a refund.
We want to be clear that we never requested a second deposit, and at no time did we deny receiving the initial deposit payment. We responded to Mr. ****** concerns promptly, professionally, and with transparency. Unfortunately, due to the dispute process initiated through his bank, we were unable to process a refund.
We understand how stressful moving can be and regret that this experience led to such frustration. However, we strongly deny any claims of dishonesty or theft and encourage anyone with questions about our services or business practices to contact us directly. We remain committed to fair and ethical treatment of all our customers.

1 starDishonest, unethical business practices. Do not use.
They quoted me about $2200 and some change on the phone for my move. I specified all the items I wanted moved. Everything was listed on the inventory sheet. When the paperwork came in, it was $2300 and some change. When the movers came, they immediately told me that there wouldn’t be enough room and I would need to pay for more space if I wanted to move everything. When I asked how much more it would be, they called to the office and told me it would be over $6000. I said this was outrageous and spoke to their office on the phone.
They told me that $2300 was an estimate and that it could change. I told them everything was on the inventory and was verified over the phone. They tried to explain that they don’t know the sizes of everything. How can they know the size of a three-seat sofa-bed? Or the size of a queen size mattress? They booked 291 cubic feet for my stuff. Since everything was inventoried, I thought this would be enough. Apparently, you need to be a moving expert to work with them. Just because you have itemized everything and listed their sizes, you also need to know the cubic feet required. The couch and bed were more than half the space. It would impossible to fit everything on the inventory.
Of the items in my inventory, they were able to move my 3-seat sofa, ottoman, queen bed with mattress, one medium size box, two small boxes, and two smaller boxes. They were also able to move my desk because it was a flat writing surface with wire frame that could be dissembled. If it were a regular desk with drawers, they could not have taken it.
Of the items in my inventory, they could not fit my dining set, desk chair, TV, TV stand, nightstand, two floor lamps, cushion chair, floor fan and air purifiers.
This is their business practice. They purposely underbid to make the sale, then demand more money to move it all. You can’t cancel at this point or you lose your $1000 deposit.Review fromSamantha E

1 starI was moving from a two bedroom apartment in San Diego to a house in Henderson, NV. During our first call, I detailed what I had in my apartment - room by room. I didn’t leave anything out. I told them I had larger furniture and a lot of items (I’d lived in that apartment complex for years). We discussed next day delivery, and it was never voiced to be an issue. In fact, the person I spoke to stated it wouldn’t be a problem. I was quoted approximately $3,900. I ended up paying over $11,000.
The nightmare began the day of my move, a single mover showed up and appeared surprised by my items. He left and took over an HOUR to come back with an updated figure, about $5,600!
I had no other options. I had to be out of my apartment that day (Saturday) and return the keys, and I had to be in Henderson by Monday for my new job. I felt like they low balled me and then put me in a position where I couldn’t say no.
At 8PM they were finally done. I was given a second blow, the move would cost me an additional $5700! They already had all my stuff in their truck, so I couldn’t refuse! I was then told this payment needed to be in CASH. I was on the phone with one of the office managers for about 30 minutes. I asked if they would keep my stuff hostage if I wasn’t able to make that payment, and the lady would not answer my question.
From a quote of $3,900 to now paying over $11k.
Unpacking was another nightmare. They broke multiple pieces of furniture, including absolutely destroying a dresser, that I never heard back about.
During the first leg of the move, I met a mover named “T”. I don’t want to use his real name. He was understanding of my stress, and asked for my contact information so that he could help me with this company and my issues with them. I gave him my insta and cell phone number. Almost immediately, I received unsolicited and explicit sexual messages. I stopped responded immediately, but I still receive unsolicited sexual text messages from this person.Review fromConnor L

1 starRoyal Moving is a dishonest and incompetent company that I could not recommend less to prospective customers. They are dishonest about their pricing, which I will fully detail below. They also have posted or apparently paid others to post fake positive reviews on Google and other websites. If you look at the pictures on these “positive” reviews, notice the stock internet photos of movers with friendly smiles…those are not real people, and certainly not employees of Royal Moving. The reviews with real pictures and real people are overwhelmingly negative, for a reason.
Royal Moving lost some of my items, and only delivered half of my items on the first delivery date (10 days past the agreed-upon delivery window). Then, months later, after the military moved me out of the United States, they delivered the rest of the things they found back to my original address. This delivery included 2 boxes that are not mine, and that I am trying to return to their rightful owners. I am still missing items.
I believe Royal Moving owes me significant compensation. I am undergoing the claims process for my missing items now, but will not be able to re-coop close to what I lost. Royal Moving should reimburse me for the $1000 “bulk items fee” that was sprung on me upon pickup, and should compensate me for not completing the full delivery until 103 days after pickup.
I was ignored by both the dispatch and warehouse manager over a dozen times. I am still missing numerous items. I also have 2 boxes from other people that I am trying to return to them. However, the company has not offered any additional compensation for it taking 103 days for them to complete a partial delivery of my items, some of which had to be returned to the original pickup address due to my military relocation.
Do not use Royal Moving. I will be mailing this letter to the company, BBB, the Nevada Attorney General, and to the city of HendersonRoyal Moving and Storage, LLC

We take all feedback seriously, as it is an opportunity for
us to improve our services. We would like to clarify and address the points raised
in this customer’s complaint to ensure there is no misunderstanding. Our
pricing is clearly outlined in our contract and terms of service, which you
agreed to prior to the move. Any additional charges, such as the bulk items
fee, were explained at the time of pickup, as they are standard in the industry
for oversized or specialty items. We encourage all our customers to review and
understand the terms before the moving process begins. At the time of pickup, a
revised final estimate was sent to this customer, and he signed before the
items were loaded onto the truck. All changes were reviewed with him, and we
believe signing a contract indicates they have read, understood and agree to
the terms within. We would like to clarify that the majority of the customer's
items were delivered within the contracted timeframe. For any items that were
initially missing, our team conducted a thorough search to locate them and
arranged a separate delivery to ensure the customer received these items. The customer has noted that the items were delivered after
his relocation to Japan. Please note that we were still actively searching for
the missing items when we were informed of this short timeframe. At that time,
the customer was notified that these items were being located, with an
understanding that delivery before his PCS from New Mexico could not be
guaranteed. We want to emphasize that the process of locating misplaced items
does not imply a failure to meet our contractual delivery obligations. Nonetheless,
we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. The customer informed the warehouse manager of receiving
items that did not belong to him 10 days after delivery. Photos of the items
intended for delivery to his prior address were shared with him beforehand,
during which no indication was given that the boxes were not his. Consequently,
the items were delivered accordingly.Regarding the missing items, we are collaborating with CSI
Pros to address this matter through the claims process. Claims are resolved
based on the coverage rate selected for items during the move. If the customer
has questions regarding this coverage, our team would be happy to provide
further clarification.Royal Moving and Storage does not condone or engage in any
unethical practices such as posting fake reviews. The positive and negative reviews
on our Google and other platforms are from genuine customers who have had
positive experiences with our services. Stock photos are sometimes used for
illustrative purposes, which is a common practice across various industries,
but the content of our reviews is entirely authentic.Connor L

"Our pricing is clearly outlined in our contract and terms of service, which you agreed to prior to the move. Any additional charges, such as the bulk items fee, were explained at the time of pickup, as they are standard in the industry for oversized or specialty items."
- I have copies of my pre-move contract that listed each of the items that were considered "bulk" on pickup, and at no time did Sunny or anyone else tell me that there would be an extra fee, nor was it included in the initial contract that I signed. Yes, I eventually signed a contract after negotiation on moving-day because I had no other option in my life to move my deceased dad's things from California to New Mexico.
"The customer has noted that the items were delivered after his relocation to Japan. Please note that we were still actively searching for the missing items when we were informed of this short timeframe. At that time, the customer was notified that these items were being located, with an understanding that delivery before his PCS from New Mexico could not be guaranteed."
- There is no short timeframe, and there was no timeframe once I had already completed my PCS from New Mexico, since I was requesting the 21 missing items to be delivered BACK to the original Sacramento pickup address. In fact, my mother has volunteered to drive to Henderson from Sacramento if the warehouse manager ever locates my missing items, and I have communicated as much to the warehouse manager.
"The customer informed the warehouse manager of receiving items that did not belong to him 10 days after delivery. Photos of the items intended for delivery to his prior address were shared with him beforehand, during which no indication was given that the boxes were not his. Consequently, the items were delivered accordingly."
- I was sent a picture of a pile of boxes within the warehouse that the manager believed may be mine. I was able to identify a couple as not belonging to me, but was unable to determine the rest based on the photo of them in a pile. Once my mom received the items and had time to go through them, we identified 2 as not belonging to me. We are STILL awaiting communication from your company about your plan to pick up these items and attempt to deliver them to the correct customers.
"Royal Moving and Storage does not condone or engage in any unethical practices such as posting fake reviews. The positive and negative reviews on our Google and other platforms are from genuine customers who have had positive experiences with our services. Stock photos are sometimes used for illustrative purposes, which is a common practice across various industries, but the content of our reviews is entirely authentic."
- There is, of course, no way to prove or disprove this. It should be noted that your company has a 1-star, D- rating on BBB, and the complaints I've levied above have been echoed by numerous other customers.
At the end of the day, I am distraught that heirlooms from my deceased father are still lost. As I've said, my mother has volunteered to drive to Henderson to retrieve the items if they can be found. I don't think the rest of the interactions or business practices reflect a professional organization, but I'm over that part and would happily rescind the reviews I've posted and discontinue contact if these items are returned to me.
