    John Jennings (JJ Asphalt) promised to re-do the horrible seal coating job he and his father applied to our driveway in 2023, but never showed up after multiple appointment dates that he set and we both agreed on. The coating material he and his father used never cured and created a mess in our garage from driving through the gunk on our driveway. Another seal coat company said that it looked like they used old motor oil to "seal" the driveway. John Jennings took our $1600, lied to us over and over and ruined our driveway.
    This happened in 2023 and early 2024, so I do not understand how John Jennings is still being allowed to continue to work in NM. He should be held accountable and give people their money back. He scammed us and obviously many others. Also, good luck finding out where his "business" is located because the location he gives on Sudderth Drive in Ruidoso is a carniceria.

    This company filled cracks and seal coated my driveway in July 2024. The cracks were filled with what looked like black sand. It never hardened and most of it washed away. The seal coat was unevenly applied and looked horrible. I reached out to the owner John Jennings and he came out to review the work and agreed that it looked bad and that he wouldn't redo the entire job. He had scheduled 4 dates to redo the work and failed to show up every time, citing a number of different excuses. Now he is not returning any calls or texts. I should have read the BBB reviews before giving him $3000. I was scammed. I have filed a complaint with the state of New Mexico and have asked that his license be revoked.

    ************************* was suppose to seal my driveway back in April, 2023. He took my $1000.00 deposit and never returned to do the job. I have made numerous phone calls attempting to get the job completed. I could not believe how many excuses he gave me for not being able to complete the job. Its September 5th, 2024 and he has still not showed up to complete my driveway. I can only believe he has no intention of completing my driveway. He has taken my money has no intention of returning it.
