      Words really cant sum up the damage **** has done. For nearly 2 years, this company has continued to steal money from me and not finished my project. Completely out of integrity. **** uses his wife and child as an excuse for why he cant perform week after week. Endless lies about work being performed with no care or regard for others.Using the death of his mother as an excuse for why he lied about work being completed and continue charging me is despicable. Because I live out of state this with use against me. This man should lose his license.

      This review is a fair warning to anyone thinking about working with **** Couty and Couty Designs. We contracted with **** for the construction of two buildings on our property and have never regretted anything more. It was a nightmare from start to finish.We signed a contract with **** in September of *************************************** 150 days (5 months, to be finished by mid February 2021). Instead it was finished in 14 months, in November 2021.Following the closeout of the project and final payment to ****, we were contacted by one of his subs who was owed around $80k in unpaid work. We were then hounded for 4 months and threatened with liens on our property- for money that we had already paid to **** and that he had apparently spent elsewhere. **** was constantly making promises to pay the sub, even telling him the transfers were sent, and then would not come through.We had major plumbing issues after the project completion and notified **** per the warranty agreement. Despite NUMEROUS attempts to get him to honor his contracted agreement, it took **** 7 months to address the issue. And this was only after we had to hire a lawyer to submit a demand letter with a threat of further legal action.Many of Nicks subcontractors provided a very low quality of workmanship and we are fully expecting to have issues in the near future.We became the de facto project managers on the project as **** would not visit the site for months at a time and the ******* was not competently working in this capacity. We were the ones identifying errors along the way and having to stop the work. Examples include- the buildings being laid in the wrong locations, plumbing being laid and cemented in the wrong location, walls being erected in the wrong locations, concrete paths and stairs being incorrectly laid and having to be torn up and replaced, and on and on.We did not do our due diligence in deciding to work with this company and had the most awful two year ordeal.
