      Couty Design Build LLC - Nick C**** agreed to do a deck project for us in April that never happened. We have given him $21,268.71 over all in deposits per his contract and he never did the job. He had agreed that he owed us a refund but we have never received it and he now is not responding to any communication from us.

      Lied to us repeatedly for 17 months and never finished job that should have taken about 8 weeks **** Ridiculous excuse after excuse (couldnt come because his dog got sick from eating a gingerbread house; ALL of his workers got COVID overnight; couldnt rent a crane to deliver what we ultimately bought and unloaded by hand; mom was dying; dad was dying.Shall I go on?) Lied REPEATEDLY about having the materials to complete a project at our home when, in fact, he never even ordered them. Now we are stuck purchasing all the materials at current cost. Left our yard in a complete mess with steel beams cemented in the ground and then left to just rust for over a year. Finally started roof only to leave again and it’s now flooded, rain damaged, and not to code. He had an electrician wire NOT-to-code that we now have to pay to have undone and rewired. Left holes in our interior and exterior which are now filling with water from being exposed so long. Cracked spots on our patio that he said he’d fix and never did. Left trash all over the yard (old pallets, buckets, nails all over the ground). Did not file for permits. Did not do work to code and now we are having to rip apart the unfinished work for inspections and changes. Left roof on structure unfinished and there is damage from all the weather exposure. Left beams in the structure with stains. Smudged the privacy screen he installed and said would repaint but never did. Screws on privacy screen are rusting. We knew if we sued him he’d just declare bankruptcy, reopen under a new name, and we’d never collect. We’ve had to hire a new contractor to finish the project, get permits, get inspections, and buy materials that he said for over a year he had ordered and never did and it is costing us many extra thousands. Completely dishonest.
