    I have repeatedly asked them to delete my personal information from their website but they are unresponsive. They only provide a link to not sell my personal information. Most of the information they display is incorrect, including incorrect addresses, incorrect phone numbers, and people who are completely unrelated to me are listed as "family members".

    I have submitted several request to have my information removed from Veripages site. I have sent emails that go unanswered I have called and left messages that go unanswered. I have been trying to remove mine and my wifes info for over 6 months now and it is still on the site. Here is the link to my info that I have requested to be removed. ******************************************************. The fact that this company can just ignore any request to remove info is scary. People can be a serious risk for harm and this company seems to not care.

    The CCPA's right to delete, also known as the right to erasure, allows California residents to request that businesses delete their personal information. Businesses must comply with these requests. Additionally, that “Veripages” and their service providers “do the same”. Submitted prior requests, requesting a “right to deletion” of my family’s information due to privacy concerns. However the information was reinstated, will be filing a complaint with the California Privacy Protection Agency. Signed a subscription with a data removal service as they provide ongoing monitoring and updates to ensure our personal information remains removed. ****** was given “limited power of attorney” to maximize the effectiveness of their data broker removal requests, therefore making them an “authorized agent for the specific person identified”. Based on observations, data brokers are not always responsive and at times have made the removal process challenging as they refuse to honor the person authorized to act on the principal's behalf. For the Better Business Bureau’s reference, I have attached an image documenting the activity history from ******, along with a url link directing the end user to their information. At this time, there are two profiles listed under my mothers name which I have highlighted in red in the images. ****** submitted a request to opt out on June 03, 2025 and June 09, 2025. I also ask that Veripages stop publishing my grandmother's information “*** ** *****”. ********************************************* ********************************************* ************************************************

    I am rejecting this response because:

    Despite concerted efforts to prevent future sharing of our information, Veripages has continued to reinstate my family's information after the initial removal by different means.  To circumvent the removal requests, the information is relisted by using “formal vs. informal names”  that are associated with the same individual.  Implementing an opt-out process should not create increased difficulty for consumers who wish to submit a request to opt-out of the sale of their data.  This is a core principle in data privacy laws like the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).  Privacy laws aim to empower consumers by giving them control over their personal information.  The sharing of information poses significant safety and privacy concerns leaving individuals vulnerable to exploitation and misuse of the data collected and sold.  The potential consequences are the increased risk of fraud, identity theft and threats to personal safety.  In my experience and similarly to the consumer complaints, removing our information from Veripages has been challenging, time-consuming and impossible.  Seemingly there's only a response when a complaint is filed with the BBB.  Will be filing a complaint with the California Privacy Protection Agency Complaint as a result.  For the BBB reference, I have attached a new screenshot taken on 6/19/2025 along with the url link directing the business to my mothers information.  Her name has been highlighted in red.     I have tried numerous times to have my information removed from Veripages. I am a victim of identity theft, and that person, plus others are still listed on my profile, many years later. Veripages only offers an opt-out to not sell information. They no longer have an opt-out link to remove information.     I am rejecting this response because: Although my information was removed, I did not get a positive answer that the company has totally DELETED all of my information and additionally will not keep my information hidden, only to later sell it again.  I am very upset to find people on my report that I do not know and see that I have AKA's that are not mine.  Through the years, the information seems to be getting worse rather than less and better.  I would like assurance that my information is being totally deleted and added to a list that if they should receive it again, it will be immediately deleted.

    I've contacted them multiple times to remove my listing from their website. I've had no success. They've replied with generic bot replies (see this complaint section) that offer no help. They're a suspicious website as their employment page contact email is the same as their complaint email. The people listed on their sites are the names of people who don't exist and their images are very obviously AI-generated. Watch them say that they can't identify me and give me the same generic reply that they've given everyone else.

    Veripages**** refuses to remove my private data and information from their website after repeated attempts to opt out through their website's opt out link. I've received an opt out request tracking ID that does not work. I have been emailing them for 5 days now requesting the removal of my private and personal information. They refuse to remove it. They keep sending me the same link over and over again and it does not work. When you try to call their customer service line it says no one is available to help. I have also left voicemails for them to remove it and they refuse. I want my information off this website! Requesting that our information be deleted and removed due to privacy concerns as our information had been compromised due to mail theft. Attempting to mitigate any potential problems that may arise from this recent event. Contacted Veripages customer support team, but have yet to hear back and manually opted out.
