    I respectfully request the permanent removal and deletion of the information on record under the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Act. This allows California residents to delete or opt-out of the sale of their personal data and businesses must comply with these requests. The sharing of information poses significant safety and privacy concerns leaving individuals vulnerable to exploitation and misuse of the data collected and sold. The potential consequences are the increased risk of fraud, identity theft and threats to personal safety. This complaint serves as formal notice to Veripages, their third-party vendors and partner networks that I do not consent to the sharing and selling of information concerning my family's personal data.     I also submitted a request to have my personal information removed from Veripages sites (there are several... they have a very long list of sites that publish your personal contact information, relatives, etc.).

    I got the same response as everyone else after completing the form on their website - that I will receive a confirmation email. Nothing comes. Nothing in spam, either. I want my information off of these websites. People who's profiles appear on these pages have every right to make this request, and they are required to comply.

    Like several before me, I have made every attempt to have my information removed from their website. Veripages even sent an email stating that the information was removed; yet, after using several different internet browsers and devices, my personal information has remained public.

    These types of data businesses that repeatedly ignore and or lie about removing your information should be shut down -- the websites should cease to exist. They are potentially placing lives in danger, as has been proven to be the case with the recent tragedies ithat took place in Minnesota. Further, when you view the "team" associated with this company, all of the pictures are stock photos of people who don't even exist in this so-called business. I have saved copies of photo searches proving this.

    Veripages’ Privacy Policy states the right to deletion.

    I have attempted to contact Veripages by phone in order to opt out/have my information removed. Their phone ‘messaging’……there is no one answering. Attempting to wade through their pages and sub pages to have information via forms removed seems intentionally vague and misleading.

    Perhaps Veripages should be investigated. They put lots of dox info on their site! What they are doing sure seems fishy at best.

    I am requesting the removal of any and all information related to me that Veripages may have collected, published, or stored—not just the information visible at the above URL. This includes any associated records that may be listed under variations of my name or other ways they identify me.

    I contacted Veripages.com multiple times to remove my identifying information from their website. I provided the URL and followed the instructions. I provided two different email addresses. I received no response and no email to confirm my request. I used the telephone number to contact Veripages and could not contact a live person.
    My Delete Service contacted Veripages on my behalf and received no response.
    Disclosure of my personal information places me at risk.

    Veripages HAS IGNORED my requests (six attempts) to remove my personal information from their site. I submitted their forms as requested as well as emailed and called; my personal information has NOT been removed. This business needs to be investigated and terminated. What they are doing does not seem legal and is not right.

    I've tried numerous times to contact this business by email and by phone to delete my information, but haven't received a response. The phone number does not allow you to speak to anyone, and my emails have gone unanswered.

    Veripages WON’T…they REFUSE to remove my personal information from their site. I completed and submitted their forms as requested and they ignored my request even though their site indicates you can ask for removal. This so called business entity should be be investigated.     I am filing this complaint against Veripages (*********************) for their failure to comply with a lawful request under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

    Despite multiple attempts to contact Veripages, they have not responded to my request to remove a profile on their website that contains my personal information. I initially submitted an opt-out request through their designated form, as instructed on their website. After receiving no response, I followed up multiple times via email to *********************, but have yet to receive any acknowledgment or action.

    The profile in question is located at the following URL: ****************************************************.

    Veripages’ own Privacy Policy acknowledges the right to deletion and instructs users to contact them via email to initiate such requests. I followed this procedure, yet my request has been ignored.

    I am requesting the removal of any and all personal information related to me that Veripages may have collected, published, or stored—not just the information visible at the above URL. This includes any duplicate or associated records under variations of my name or other identifiers.

    This lack of response is not only unprofessional but also a clear violation of the CCPA. I am requesting that the BBB investigate this matter and assist in compelling Veripages to comply with my data removal request.

    While my personal information has been removed from the provided URL, it's concerning that this frustrating and time-consuming process took multiple months, repeated opt-out submissions, and numerous emails to your support address (*********************).

    This experience raises questions about VeriPages' adherence to its own Privacy Policy and potential violations of state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Specifically, the difficulty in exercising opt-out rights despite multiple attempts is a serious issue under the CCPA's provisions requiring easy and accessible opt-out mechanisms.

    Individuals should not have to resort to filing formal complaints to exercise their fundamental rights under state privacy laws. Given these practices, the Better Business Bureau should investigate these concerns and evaluate the implications for consumer rights and compliance with privacy regulations. Others who believe their rights are being violated are strongly encouraged to file complaints with their state Attorney General's office or the CPPA, if applicable. These complaints help identify patterns of misconduct and can lead to investigations and actions on behalf of the public. Pursuing this avenue is recommended.
