JC&E (****** ******) repaired some mini-splits on a property we purchased in January. At the time, the units were frozen over. His initial visit and attempt to fix was done Jan 10th. The invoice stated they were "severely low" on refrigerant and that he added 11 pounds. Also that "all units were thoroughly tested and functioning properly". Less than 2 weeks after the work was done, the units were again not functioning properly. After several unanswered calls, I spoke with ****** who tried to have me troubleshoot over the phone. When this was not successful, he committed to physically showing up on Jan 25th but he did not show up. I texted him on Jan 26th to follow up and received no response. I texted him again on Jan 28th and was told he had the flu. When asked if he had any workers who could come, I was told they were all busy. I texted him to follow up on Feb 3rd and again on the 5th with no response. We had no heat in half the house at this point. Later on the 5th, one of the units froze over again, identical to the original issue. I sent ****** a picture and pointed out that this was the same issue he was originally paid to fix. His response was that it was fine last he checked and he still wasn't feeling well enough to come anyway. Shortly after, I received a phone call from ****** who was belligerent and clearly upset but scheduled a visit to look at them on the 6th. He was at the house that day for less than 3 hours. In that time, he added more refrigerant and "perfectly balanced the system". When he left, he promised to send an invoice detailing his work (never received). I tried contacting him several times after that as the units still weren't working but got no response and ended up paying a reputable business $2500 to actually fix them. They determined the units were severely overcharged. The units were only ever supposed to be charged to 9lbs and they pulled out close to 20lbs total before recharging them. We've had no problems with the units since.

I had my home converted from evaporative cooling to refrigerated air- back in July 2024. After paying in full they informed me they didn't install the curb to secure it to the roof but would be back to finish it within the week. It is now March 2025 and I still haven't received it. The unit is extremely loud and the electrical work completed is not up to code.

At ********* residence, we took care of the situation and the problem. We are in the process of getting an inspection on the work we did. So yes, we follow through with her complaint and took care of the situation.

I’m sorry for the delay. These messages were in my junk folder. ****** ****** came out to put the curb on the unit but still has not corrected the issue electrical issues. He never pulled a permit and is having to have this corrected with the city before proceeding. The work has not been completed as he stated.
