5 starsWe were completely impressed with our moving experience. They arrived on time and worked tirelessly all day to deliver our possessions to our new home. The guys were responsible and respectful. They put our furniture where ever we wanted it and also put our brds together. Our home has three floors and I know they were tired by the time they got to our new home yet they went up those three flights of stairs without a groan. Very professional service and very easy to work with. *****************************, who provided us with our pricing was very easy to work with and was very accessible. ********, our driver, was amazing and did not miss a beat; we had a somewhat complicated move with items going to our new home, storage and internationally. He went above and beyond in our move from CT To VA making sure everything went to the correct place and we have never had a better moving experience. The crews on both ends of the move were very professional and respectful of our belongings. 5 starsWe used Freedom Mayflower for our move from Brooklyn, ** to ********, **. We initially booked a different mover at a lower quote. But upon researching this other moving company, we came to learn that they are a broker and read numerous horror stories of how they subcontracted their moving jobs to local trucking companies. From there, said trucking companies would hold you hostage on either the day of the move or when dropping off your belongings. And seeing these reviews where people paid thousands more than the initial estimate was not a risk my wife and I were willing to take. So for piece of mind, we went with the local Mayflower branch, which is Freedom. Their quote was definitely higher than what we had received from the broker, BUT it was a flat rate. As such, we would not be risking being asked for substantially more money once it was too late to back out. They also did not require a deposit. ******************************* was our moving consultant, and I was able to do a virtual moving estimate with him through my phone. It was ridiculously easy. *********************** was our relocation coordinator and she was very communicative and friendly. She walked us through booking the details through the Mayflower site. She also answered all of our questions clearly and responded quickly. The movers showed up on time, with the ******* giving us a time estimate that proved to be correct. They got everything out without damage and were on their way. Two days later they showed up on time to deliver our furniture at our new residence. The only hiccup was a piece of glass that broke during the move on a cabinet. But with the base insurance coverage that was included with the flat rate, I filed a claim and received a check that more than covered the cost of repair. So for anyone out there wanting to do an interstate move and needing piece of mind that you wont be preyed upon by unscrupulous movers, you can trust Freedom Moving and Storage.Freedom Moving & Storage, LLC
