On June 20,2022 I called snap fitness to notify them I wanted to cancel my membership due to un foreseen circumstances. I was told on the phone by snap staff that I needed to come in person to sign a paper to cancel my membership. No one notified me that they required 30 days notice or a signed signature. I notified them that I was unable to make it in to sign paperwork due to me living very far away. On July 1st and once again on August 1, 2022 they charged my account. I did not use that membership all month. I tried multiple times to come to an agreement to fix the issue, explaining to them that I am currently not local and due to circumstances I cannot make it into the store. On August 30, 2022 I called again to make sure they were not going to charge my account. She told me that I once again needed to cancel my membership with a signed signature and then was notified they also needed 30 days notice! This is now the first time i am hearing about the ************************************************************************ person. So once again i am looking at the possibility of getting charged again on September 1, 2022! and possibly need to find a way to get 3 hours a way to sign a paper therefore i don't get charged further for a gym membership i am not using!I have now been charged about a total of $198.00 of gym membership fees for something i have not used nor can i afford and it seems IMPOSSIBLE to cancel. According to my membership agreement i was going to be able to cancel anytime without any fees or issues. I am currently experiencing financial hardship and have been trying to cancel my membership responsibly for 3 months now without any relief. I would like to request a refund for 3 months.
