    I signed up for Retro to begin my workouts in September of 2022. One month after joining I decided to do a trial membership of the personal training classes and was offered 3 months of service. I refused and said I only wanted one month of training to get me started. I signed up with my trainer ****, at the time, and he asked if they can use the credit card on file. I was not presented with any contracts to sign, only a credit cards slip that I was signed for ******. Any contracts that the club produces are falsified and the only contract I signed was one for the actual monthly membership at *****. I continued with my classes for a few weeks, but I needed medical attention. I did not return to the club since October of 2022, I informed my trainer that I could not continue with the personal training, I went to the Raritan Retro to pause my membership in August 2023 due to pending surgery. I questioned the charges appearing on my account for the 384 dollars per month. What I learned is that my credit card has been charged or 11 months straight, along with the ***** dollar membership fee (Separate Charges Monthly) I am disputing the 10 months of Personal Training membership, of which I did not authorise the repeated charges nor did I use the services outside of the originally agreed term with my trainer. ***** after speaking to manager through repeated phone calls I was assured that *****, training manager would call me back. I then called again, and was told that I would be called by ****. No calls. I continued to call as ***** and reached her. She did call me back and informed me that the owner is declining to refund me the money. After further rebuttal, she asked me to give her 24 hours to resolve the matter. No response.

    It used to be a good gym. Then the flood happened and I switched to ********. Now ******** is shutting down and the whole crowd has been pushed to *******. Go to the gym at 7pm and I bet you will have to wait at least 15 minutes between machines. Oww and how could I forget, you have to wait at least 20min to get a hold of someone from front desk. I was charge for 6 months without notifying me even though I had attempted to cancel the membership. They kept charging me under my nose with notifying me. Note the debt collection agency has put a derogatory ****** on my credit. The current staff is aware of the previous staffs ill treatment. There are others like me and the ****** reviews speak it out loud.
