I went to this dealership in may to purchase a new car . I traded in my old car as well . I gave a pretty big down payment to pay off my old car and put some money towards the new one . It is now September and my old car is still not payed off . This is effecting my credit in a huge way. I contact the dealership as well as I have direct contact with the owner . All I get is broken promises and temporary solutions . My problem has not been fixed and I’m tired of calling them everyday with no resultsInitial Complaint

Purchased a 2019 Infiniti QX60 on April 7, 2025. Brought the car in three (3) times within the first 30 days for noise in the front end. They would have the car several days and finally after many calls would tell us to come pick it up but receptionist couldn't tell us every time what was wrong and what was done. Kept telling us the head mechanic left for the day and we'll get an email; they did this every single time. Car still makes noise, brought it to another mechanic who knew instantly that it is the transfer case. It has been almost 3 weeks and they will not return my calls or emails. My email is actually blocked now and I get them returned. They have put me on hold for over 30 minutes at a time, when I call back they immediately put me back on hold and don't pick up. I have just sent out certified mail stating that I have to have the car fixed and I will send them the bill to be reimbursed. If that doesn't work I am taking them to Court.Initial Complaint

I bought a car back in September of 2024 and have not received my plates as of (7/28/25) they have given me the runaround. Excuse after excuse. I purchased the car and when I look at the car on carfax it says they still own it. There is some shady stuff going on here and it’s not right. The bank just told me that they payed off my loan and now they are sending the title to the dealership. I’m afraid I’m going to lose my car I have never missed a payment or anything. Where are my plates it should not take 10 months to register a car something isn’t right.Initial Complaint

I purchased a vehicle from Square One Auto (in New Jersey) and financed it through *****. As part of the financing, the dealership included three separate service/warranty contracts in the loan. I recently discovered—after contacting the warranty provider directly—that none of the contracts were ever activated because the dealership failed to remit payment. I now have that confirmation in writing from the contract administrator.
This means I’ve been unknowingly paying monthly interest and principal on three non-existent products. I’ve already paid over $1,100 in interest alone, and this amount continues to grow every month. I gave the dealership a chance to resolve the issue: I sent a formal email requesting a refund and resolution, with a 2-business-day deadline. I also called multiple times before and after sending the message. They have not responded once.
This situation has caused significant financial strain and stress. I’ve been overpaying for a loan based on misrepresentation and now feel completely misled and taken advantage of. I have already opened a complaint with *****, and I’ve filed formal complaints with the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs.
At this point, I’m requesting:
• A full refund of all charges related to the unfulfilled contracts
• A review of the situation to determine if the entire deal should be rescinded
• Formal documentation that this issue will be addressed and corrected
I am fully prepared to pursue small claims or legal action if necessary. All relevant documentation—including provider statements, my loan summary, payment history, and dealership communication attempts—can be provided upon request. I’m simply asking for fairness and accountability for what has clearly been a deceptive and harmful transaction.Initial Complaint

These people are thieves; they are not accredited by the BBB. Why are they still in business? Is no one paying attention to the reviews. They are doing the same thing over and over. My case is going into arbitration, but when do you stop them and close them down. Why are they allowed to stay in business and continue to rip off people. There is nothing honest about them.Initial Complaint

I am writing to express serious concerns regarding my retail installment contract and the financial difficulties I am experiencing as a result.
Firstly, the contract shows that I am paying $729.00 per month. However, this is not what I agreed to nor what I signed on the electronic pad at the car dealership. The terms I agreed to differ from what is reflected in the contract.
Additionally, the contract incorrectly states that I traded in my previous vehicle, but in reality, there was no trade-in involved. This misrepresentation has impacted the terms and possibly the financing.
Furthermore, I have requested the original contract from the bank, but the copy provided to me was blurry and unclear. I am concerned that the bank may have sold or transferred my contract without my proper knowledge or clarity.
The financial burden of this loan has become unmanageable. I am unable to afford the payments, and as a result, I have lost my apartment. I am in a dire situation and need assistance in resolving this matter.
A temporary or permanent reduction in my monthly payment amount to better align with my current financial situation.
A possible extension of the repayment period to reduce monthly financial burden.
Waiver or reduction of late fees or penalties incurred due to missed or late payments during this hardship period.
Clear communication and documentation of any modified terms agreed upon.
Assistance or resources the company can offer to help manage this financial difficulty.
Please consider this request carefully. I am hopeful for a fair resolution that considers my current circumstances. I am forwarding this complaint to the involved companies with these specific resolution requests for their review and response.
Please review my case and provide guidance on how to address these discrepancies. I am hopeful for a resolution that can help me avoid losing everything.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.Initial Complaint

I purchased a car from this company on February 3rd, 2025 and from the start I have had an issue. After they told me my car (2022 Tesla Model y performance) would be delivered with full charge, it was dropped off with 20% battery left. From here, I was told my license plate was going to be shipped to me in the mail, which still has not arrived (now 4/17). I have reached out to the company several times regarding my license plate and they have continuously told me its in the mail. I have even reminded them my temporary plate is expired. Their words were if I get a ticket, to send it in to them to get it resolved, however I am not comfortable with continuing to drive on and expired license plate. I have tried to go into my *** to ask them what steps I can take myself to get my plate, they said I need to wait for the dealership to ship it. This is getting very frustrated and with being active military I am getting upset with having to drive with an expired plate because they keep saying its in the mail but not shipping it. I have also reached out regarding a tire issue that they said would be resolved by a tire getting shipped in the mail to the ***** dealership here to get fixed since they sold it with a nail in the tire. I have still yet to receive my tire and it has been 3 weeks.Business Response

Hello Ms. ********************* you for reaching out, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and miscommunication you've experienced. We understand how frustrating this has been.
Regarding your plates, after speaking with our DMV clerk, we are currently waiting on the title from the bank in order to process them. We've been following up with the bank and requesting the needed documentation, and I assure you we will ship the plates out as soon as we receive the title that we need to process it.
For the tire issue, please send us the make, model, tire size, and a photo of the tire so we can confirm the correct replacement. Well cover the full cost and ship it directly to you, or we can coordinate with your local Tesla dealership to do so. (If you would like us to coordinate with your Tesla dealership, please let me know which location you will be bringing your vehicle to.)
We truly appreciate your understanding and are working hard to get everything resolved as quickly as possible.
Best regards,
****** PSquare One Auto

I purchased a vehicle from Square One Auto on December 18, 2024, and still have not received my permanent license plates. My temporary tags expired on February 16, 2025, and it is now March 14, yet the dealership keeps giving me false promises. I have visited three times, waited for hours, and was repeatedly told my plates were available when they were not.
The owner himself promised me twice—once verbally and once with a signed note—that my plates would arrive, yet they still have not. I made a $4,000 down payment and have been making monthly payments on a car I cannot legally drive. On top of that, I am forced to use Uber, which is draining my finances. I have asked for an extension on my temporary tags, but the dealership refuses. At this point, I feel scammed.
I need my plates immediately or, at the very least, an extension. If that is not possible, I want to return the car and receive a full refund, as I no longer wish to do business with a dealership that operates this way.Business Response

Hello Mr. Miranda,
We do apologize for the delay in the delivery of your plates and registration, as we were also not expecting this delay to occur, which is illustrated in the signed note that you attached. In the event that the DMV does not allow us to provide a second temporary tag to you, it is because your plates are already in process. However, sometimes this process may take longer than expected due to varying reasons on the DMV's side of the process. Rest assured, that as soon as we collected all of the information needed to process your plates, we had sent it over to the DMV to start that process. Furthermore, I looked into your case and found that your plates were ready on the date of your complaint submission, in which I have attached the release form that you have signed when picking up your plates and registration that same day. Again, we do apologize on behalf of the DMV for the inconvenience this has caused you, and if there is anything else we can help you with, please feel free to reach out to us.Thank you,
Square One Auto.

Dear Mr. ******************* sincerely regret hearing about your concerns regarding your purchase experience, and we appreciate the opportunity to address them.
After reviewing your situation, we found that the *** has been waiting on valid insurance from you. Since this was not provided, a lien was placed on the title. Additionally, our records show that both you and ****** ******* signed for the vehicle at the time of purchase. As a dealership, we require physical signatures on all contracts, meaning both names listed were in attendance on the sale date.
To resolve the issue with your plates, we recommend visiting the *** with valid insurance, as this will allow you to obtain them. We understand how frustrating this has been for you, and we want to assist in any way we can. If you have any further questions or need clarification, please feel free to reach out.

I purchased a car from this company on Dec 13th 2024. Disclosed in their warranty we have 2 months to have them fix any mechanical issue. Days after purchasing the vehicle, I noticed that a light came on saying(back light faulty) since a few days after purchasing the car, I have been trying to communicate with them to get this issue resolved. They keep saying they will order the part and will give me a call when it comes in. Its been several weeks and I keep having to call them and no one responds to me. I have emailed them and spoke to supposedly managers to help me fix this matter, but nothing has been getting done. I called this morning ( January *******) and spoke to another manager and explained my frustrations, and he went off on me and told me he didnt want to deal with my attitude and was yelling at me and continue to hang up on me. I called back to be transferred to him again and as soon as he heard my voice, he hung up. I am reaching out to you guys to help me with this matter. this company is so unprofessional.Business Response
