    We hired Ace Home Improvements to install a new ceiling attic fan, and at first, everything seemed fine. However, about a year later, the fan started making a loud, persistent noise. When their repairman came to check it out on July 7th ,he said it sounded like the fan motor had gone bad which was disappointing for a unit thats barely a year old.He then pointed out that we had a new roof installed and implied that might have caused the problem. I explained that the new roof was put on at the beginning of April, and the attic fan continued to run smoothly for two months after that, only starting to make noise about four weeks ago. The timing just doesnt add up, and it feels like the issue lies with the quality or longevity of the fan itself, not the roofing ******* left feeling frustrated. A fan motor shouldnt fail this quickly, and the deflection to the roof job felt like an excuse rather than a solution. I expected better follow-through and accountability for the work done.When I called Ace to discuss this, I was told that the owner, ****, would call me by the close of business that day. Four additional days have passed, and I still have not received a call from him.

    I spoke with *** on Wednesday 7/16/2025.  I was able to get a new attic fan for him under warranty and the customer was just responsible for the Labor.  I installed the new fan today 7/17/25.  Job is completed and paid for.
