      I wish I would of read this before I got an contract with these thieves. I got a contract on January 4, 2023. My dishwasher stop draining and the clip on the door that holds the pod broke, I made a claim in March 2023. My claim was denied! I called and asked why, they gave me the most generic answer, I pulled out my contract and it was right there in black and white, that it "WAS" covered. I was so angry, it being my first time using SHW warranty and they was not going to fix it. So, I asked for a refund, because I have it in black and white that it was covered. I paid $425 up front, I shouldn't done that, because out of my $425 the LOOSERS gave me back $295 and never even did anything for me. I'm telling you, PLEASE don't sign contract with this company, because clearly they do not honor their on contract. I told them I was going to report them to BBB, they were And.???..... Please guys DO NOT go with SHW, you will be so disappointed like I am. I don't have money like that to just give away, they are very shady and ****** do not care about us, the customers. JUST DON'T DO IT, go with another company.

      This is a TOTALLY scam company! DO NOT do business with this company,.
      I filed a claim for an oven repair i November 2022. As of April 2023 my oven still has not been repaired. I have emailed them, called them repeatedly. They just keep trying to send out the fake service companies that have already been to my home, but never getting any results. They are all lip service, and no actual service repair is ever done.

      This business is a scam. I am yet to get a single claim completed. I live in the ****** area. They assign contractors more than 1.5away. Their contractors dont show up. I had a claim for a busted dryer open for 2.5 months, they reassigned the contractor to the same constructor and reset the clock. The contractor has made promises to come every week for the past 2.5months and havent showed up. I spent 10s hours on the phone with them, and took many half days waiting for the contractor. This is a scam in the ***

      Denying a claim for an AC repair of which the cause was not identified by the Technician they sent is a false assessment and a breach of contract. I requested a re-evaluation and the decision was still the same despite evidence! Will be filing a claims suit with the ********** of ********* if this is not resolved soon.

      Horrible experience! I would give them 0 stars if I could. The salesman told me my A/C would be covered for the exact reason mine broke. Then the company's fine print allowed them to not pay out. All of their departments are compartmentalized so their is no way to submit a complaint or talk to the person who made the decision. For six months I called asking to speak to someone in the cooperate office. I was told they sent my request forward but was never contacted. The customer loyalty department was insulting. They questioned, after looking up my house online, how I got such a good deal on my house and insinuated I should be able to pay for the repair myself. When I asked about a refund, I was told no, but they would give me $60 any future need.

      Select warranty states that they offer a 30 day money back guarantee and are not upholding that guarantee. Ive called multiple times requesting that I would like to cancel my service. It has been less than a week since I signed up. I continue to get calls trying to sell me a better deal and still havent receive my initial payment. If I ever do get a home warranty it will most definitely not be with this company.

      Sales is hard core pressing you to buy two years instead of one. If need a repair, they are Slow, It takes days to get back to you, days to set an appointment with a repair person, and my last repair person didn't answer calls and took a week to call back to set a follow-up appointment to actually fix the broken unit. CS is outsourced service to *****, takes days to get a repair, they select the worst service techs, if you send in a claim, they give you a link that doesn't work. Terrible, terrible company. Don't waste you money or time. I finally had to get my own repair person for my heater, which was broken in the middle of winter, and they will not reimburse me.

      I highly recommend going with a different company. I have a water heater that is on the ***** and knocking like crazy so I pay my $125 and I have them come out to look at it. Contractor was not knowledgeable and I had to pull up on ****** the issue that it was having because he did not know how the water heater worker. He finishes and leaves and 9 days go by with no word. I call and am told that he never submitted his findings so I ask that a different contractor be sent out to fix the issue and am told that they will send out a different contractor and waive the $125 so that I don't have to pay it again. Another 5 days go by and they reassign it to the same contractor so I call again to tell them that I do not want the same contractor. They again say that they will reassign it to a different contractor and I won't have to pay. I get the confirmation email saying that I will be contracted within 48 hours by the tech. Yet another 4 days go by and I call only to find out that they accepted the review from the current contractor and that I am awarded $150 for the claim and have to pay anything above that out of pocket. I ask what their policy is for contractors to respond to them with their findings after a review and they tell me 2 business days. I ask to speak to the a supervisor and ask them why I was not assigned a new technician after I was promised one by several different reps, and am told that because the contractor finally submitted the report I would have to pay the $125 again and their decision was final. I asked why they would not honor what they had told me before and was told that because they received the review it was closed. It took the contractor 10 business days after the review to submit the review, the supervisor refused to help make it right and could not explain why my request was not honored, only that it was closed and I had no choice but to pay again to have a competent contractor come out to look at it.

      They offered me a good discount if I prepaid a 5 years waranty plan. I prepaid the entire 5 years for over $2000. Later, I found out they do not cover many things. Last year around Thanksgiving holidays, our bath tub was clogged, so I called SHW and they finally sent over a plumber after 2 days. The plumber suggested to install a flush out unit in the front of the house. He submitted a request to SHW. After 3 days, we never heard back from SHW. I called SHW and they asked me to wait for 3 more days for approval review. I waited and still no answer from SHW. I called again and complained that my bathroom had a terrible odor from the clogged bath tub. The customer service agent (*******) told me to get my own plumber just to unclog the bath tub, but I need to pay for it and then submt the invoice to SHW by email. They allow my to pay for the service no more than $450. My plumber came and unclogged and solved the problem for only $175. Since I already paid $60 deductible to the first assigned plumber, I should get all $175 back. I submitted my request for payment for $175. After one month, I did not get any reply. I submitted again and still no reply and no payment.I am now extremely upset with SHW. I would like to get my remaining 3 years warranty refunded. I should have purchased the waranty from other A+ company.

      Very disappointed with the way they handle the claim and there are not handling the my service request. I have called 4 times no further action.
