Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan SE (VIN: *****************, license: ******, Milage: 161,991) as of 7/10/2025 Engine – Head gasket damaged, Oil leaking, Radiator – Interior fluids contaminated, mixture of oil and coolant, Exhaust – Rusted and corroded, Shocks – all struts damaged and degraded, Brakes – Brake fluid contaminated, Piston (Caliber) - ripped replacement needed.

Between May 2, 2025 and the present time, I brought the van into the shop with concerns around 10 times, most of which were with complaints about overheating and secondarily the front drivers side tire deflating.  During this period of time,  just under $4,000 in work was completed, including brakes, rotors, calipers, oil & filter change, spark plugs, gaskets, valve cover, alternator, battery, radiator clamps, radiator flush.   Now as a result of overheating, multiple items have broken down or are failing, that were previously evaluated by this shop and documented during their evaluation process in writing with photos, reported to be in good condition.  I have an outline of all of the visits, service performed and costs.

I've had one conversation with someone from management that did not go well.  This Helena or Elena, not willing to give her last name, only spoke of the head gasket repair.  When I asked her to put something in writing to lay out the cost and what they were willing to cover, I was told that she could not, that she would have to price parts and service costs and would be willing to apply some discount but could put anything in writing.  I'm not sure what I was supposed to do with that.   If I was expected to blindly go along with this but the conversation began to break down at this point.  Going forward, whoever is designated to respond on behalf of the company, I'd prefer not to have deal with the individual.

Midas first incorrectly diagnosed the problem with my car, ordered the wrong part, and then installed that incorrect part. When they claimed the car was fixed, the car wouldn't start. They then claimed the part they received was defective, later changing their story to indicate that they had misdiagnosed the problem. They then said that they were going to order the new part. After many days of waiting, they claimed they couldn't order the part because "the parts system was down". After holding on to the car for 3 weeks, I finally took the car to the ***** dealer who diagnosed it and correctly fixed it within one day. Because of Midas's incorrect diagnosis, ordering wrong parts, and other delays, I was without a car for 3 weeks and had to get a rental car during that time. After many complaints to management, Midas agreed to refund $500 to my credit card due to their errors, delays, and the rental car costs. This refund was never issued and the manager who promised it was supposedly fired.

On June 7, 2022 I had Front & Rear Brakes & Front & Rear Rotors install on my SUV, at a later date October 26, 2023 I had an Oil change & Oil Drain Plug, Front & Rear Brakes and Front & Rear Rotors install on my SUV, I notified Midas Corporation about the complaint on December 14, 2023, (when I found my paperwork later) they said someone will call me back up to this day no response, an SUV does not require rotors change unless it is over the mileage between 50,000-80,000 my mileage between the dates difference 26,440 which meant I did not need new rotors, I took my SUV (after I found my paperwork for the brakes & rotors) back to them when my vehicle was shaking they only drove it and said I needed struts without looking at it, I felt uneasy (I found my paperwork for the rotors after) with that and I went to Subaru Dealership and I needed Bushing so Midas is charging and given wrong information just to make money. I am not satisfied with them I would like my money refunded back to me the Total with everything was $890.30. I am requesting that I get back $826.30 I appreciated if you can please help me and have MIDAS refund my money back ASAP and stop doing what they are doing, by ignoring my complaint. If you should need additional information feel free to contact me, can someone assist me in this matter.

    Thank you,
