Claim was approved in on 13 Dec 2022. Prior to this day, I was told to pay in full for my service and to file a claim for reimbursement. Have made several calls to ************** and each time I was told to wait 30 days for the check to be written and sent. After 30 day, I am again told to wait 30 more days. Well, this is now 2 May 2023, and after talking with protect my car, I am being told that there is nothing that they can do...United Service Contract Group has to write the approved check and send it to me...and that I should wait 30 days to receive it. On 4 April, I was told my case was upgraded to urgent status...today again is 2 May 2023 and nothing has changed since 13 Dec 2022. This is the second time this has happened with this company in the last 3-4 years. I have since submitted another claim following the instructions that were given to me in Jan/Feb 2023...Have not heard anything on the processing of this claim yet...that will be a separate report. The United Service Contract Group needs to be held accountable for failure to provide services in a timely manner.

They have owned me money since March for work I had done on my car that they wee suppose to pay for. They told me that the underwriters had gone out of business or whatever so I had to pay up front and they would reimburse me. Do I did just that and they keep giving me the run around. But they finally paid my husband so why couldnt they have just put my check in with his and sent mine to. But no they still havent paid me and this is ridiculous having to wait this long for anybody to reimburse you 9 months. So I guess I will just file it in small claims court because Im not waiting anymore they should of paid me when they paid my husband. This company is a joke I will never deal with them or mepco again. Mepco said that their underwriters went out of business and United service contract was handling it but its funny when I call United service contracts number guess who answers the phone no other than you got it mepco.

I am rejecting this response because:This is the 3rd or 4th time I have written yall. Im still waiting for my refund since March. My husband finally got his because he wrote in so many times I should have gotten my the same time as him but no. They told **** in the last complaint that mine would go out in the next set of checks to go out on November the 30th. Well I waited patiently and no check as usual. It doesnt take that long to get here. So im making another complaint about not receiving my check

As posted in our 12/10/2022 response (which was posted under the secondary case # that the BBB assigned to this customer's re-opened complaint), a reimbursement check for $156.49 was processed on 12/6/2022 and mailed to our customer's address on file (the same address that she provided the BBB).  We trust that this reimbursement check has already been received, or will be received in the next few days.  Respectfully, USCG

We had a warranty their ************** we made every payment and before our contract was up but after we paid everything we owed. They said we had to pay for our services and they would reimburse us so we did. I had a claim and my wife also had one on her car. This was back in March every time we called same ole same old story. Now its the end of October and still nothing. Nothing but bill s*** They say that the underwriters went out of business and we need to call uscg well whats funny is when I call them they answer mepco. Now I cant get anybody to answer. So Im fine Im going to get the form and take them to small claims court. Also I was looking into purchasing another warranty until I found out the payments go to mepco forgot that. We just want our money we did what we were suppose to do any made our payments why cant they do what their suppose to do and pay us .

I am rejecting this response because:

This is what they have been saying since March. Were never going to get our money without help. Im so tired of hearing the same old same old speech. The only option I see is *** them in small claims court then they can pay a lot more because they will have to pay court costs and everything. I really tired of playing this game my account was closed with my mechanic because I couldnt pay him because I never got reimbursed so I couldnt pay him. So its put me in a world of hurt because of their neglect

I purchased an extended auto warranty policy through a company called ************** I later learned that PMC do not actually reimburse claims. They have an agreement with a third party company called UNITED SERVICES CONTRACT GROUP. I submitted a claim for repairs to my vehicle following instructions from PMC. I followed up several months later to be told by PMC that the claim was approved and USCG would be sending me my reimbursement. I have experienced impossible wait times on PMCs customer ********************** line and cannot get through to anyone at USCG. Here are the details of my policy:************************* 2013 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Vin No: ***************** Policy Ambassador Pro Contact No: ****** Policy Date: 12/5/17-1/4/23 I would greatly appreciate BBBs assistance in helping me make contact with this company so I can receive the reimbursement I am owed.

I am rejecting this response because: It is a very standard glib response. USCG should provide a much more professional response with details, reasons for delay, how exactly will I be reimbursed i.e. credit or debit card, check?
These delaying tactics have gone on long enough. If I dont receive my reimbursement by the end of October I will file an action against USCG with ** Small Claims Court.

I purchased the Ambassador Elite contract from protect my car, LLC USCG. I uploaded a copy of a billing statement to show you my contract number because I don't have the paper contract in front of me. I began making payments June of 2018 and made 42 payments, in total $3,107.83. For the life of the contract up until my payments were completed, they were pretty good about paying their half of the service bill when whatever shop I was using at the time showed my portion was paid. They paid with a credit card over the phone and I was able to drive away with my car every time. However on 4-22-22, I was authorized by protect my car to have work done but was informed that their payment processing system was down and that I would need to cover the payment up front but once the work was completed, it would take approximately 15 business days to get my reimbursement. It is now September 27th and I have yet to receive a payment. I called PMC several times. The first time I was informed that USCG was in charge of cutting my checks and I had missed the cut off date for that month but I was on the top of the list but they only cut checks at the end of the month. I spoke to ******** at PMC who was supposed to be a supervisor and she guaranteed that I was first on the list for the next month. That was 2 months ago. Since that time I went to receive one of my complimentary oil changes per my contract. When the mechanic called, the PMC operator authorized the oil change but said I had to call back the next day with the receipts for the reimbursement because their office was closing at the time. When I call the next day, I was informed by ******* again that they were filing a lawsuit against USCG, who had stopped providing money for my contract and some of the older contracts that they bought. She said she was very sorry but suggested I call USCG directly to complain. They owe me approximately $643 for that work and $73 for what should have been a free oil change on August 8th 2022.

USCG does acknowledge these two claims from May ($626.22) and August ($71.91)for a total of $698.13.  As soon as funds are available these will be paid.  At this time we have no ETA on this.  Be assured ****************** claims are on the list for payment.  We apologize payment is taking longer than expected.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, I'm glad to hear that they have acknowledged the debt however, they have not offered any actual resolution and we're going on over 5 months now. I would like to know how to communicate with them to stay on top of my payment and I still would like to hear about any kind of refund of the rest of my contract because clearly I can't go through them again for any mechanical issues. I didn't know whether to choose except or reject because there was nothing to actually reject. All they did was tell me what I already know and that is they're aware they owe me money but they're impossible to get a hold of. Online the only phone number I have sent me right back to ************** who will not give me any other information.
