This company committed fraud! They stole my money and are not a legitimate business. They took over $1300 from our new business that is already having a hard time!! Please dont trust this company. They promised they would get our ****** listings back and never did a thing. Ive been faced with lie after lie from this company. We take false and defamatory claims very seriously, and we want to set the record straight.
The individual who submitted this complaint is not listed as a customer in our system by name. However, the phone number referenced does pull up an account in our CRM that was actively receiving services from our company.
We provided ongoing support and services as agreed upon, including power listing the business across over 60 major directories and assisting with a suspended ****** Business Profile. The suspension stemmed from a violation of ******* own guidelines an issue we clearly communicated during our efforts to help resolve it. Unfortunately, delays related to ******s verification and reinstatement processes are entirely out of our control, and impatience with those delays does not constitute fraud or justify false accusations.
At no point did we misrepresent the nature of our services or fail to deliver what was contractually agreed upon. Our support and work continued despite the clients growing frustration, which seemed to stem primarily from a misunderstanding of how ****** enforces its policies not from any negligence or wrongdoing on our part.
Additionally, we are aware that a dispute was initiated with their bank. As standard procedure, the bank is currently reviewing the full scope of the services provided by our company.
Although we were initially open to considering a partial refund as a gesture of goodwill, the course of action taken including filing a bank dispute and making false, damaging public claims has demonstrated a lack of willingness to resolve this matter professionally. As a result, we will not be issuing any refund. We remain confident in the services delivered, and we stand by the integrity of our business and team.

Rank Tracking, Content Creation & Back Link Building. Mainly, Straight Marketing was supposed to get my business seen on 75 different search engines. I was supposed to have those search directories updated weekly/monthly. I was supposed to be able to update my SEO keywords as much as I wanted. I was going to get my business seen more and brought up higher in search results. Yet, a few weeks later I have people from the other search websites like Yelp telling me my profile was still not up to date?

Since I began working with Straight Marketing, my website has seen no increase in traffic, and my business has not improved in Google listings. They consistently neglect to update my company information across approximately 75 search websites. I had to send numerous emails and argue repeatedly to get them to modify my SEO keywords, and they have never agreed to show me the individual sites where they made changes. To top it off, no one can even find my company name when searched directly by its name! You can't contact anyone in this company, they just say someone will contact you later. I have cancelled this payment on my credit card and should have done so a long time ago.

After a thorough review of our records, we found no communicationwhether by phone, email, or any other methodfrom the customer requesting a cancellation of services. Since the account was activated in 2024, it has remained active and in good standing. As stated in our terms and conditions, accounts will remain active and continue to be billed unless we receive a direct cancellation request from the customer.
We are always happy to work with our clients to address any concerns, and we encourage this customer to contact us directly so we can further review the account and assist as needed. At this time, however, we have no record of any attempt to cancel, and therefore a refund cannot be issued.
We value our customers and are committed to providing clear and transparent service. We are ready to resolve this issue promptly if the customer reaches out to us directly.

They caled mmy business and misrepresented themselves as ******. They led me to believe that ****** was now reqiring businesses to be registered in order to be tracked on-line. I paid that amount and was called back to offer me SEO advice. I paid an additional $999 to employ them to improve my ranking on ****** by correcting some minor issues with me listing. They have done nothing as far as I can see. My ranking remains the same and I have been scammed out of over $1000. They tolld me that if I were not satisfied, I could request a refund. I am not satisfied and would like a refund. I would also suggest that the Better Business Bureau take steps to shut them down so thatr other small business owners are not fooled as I was.Business Response

We are surprised by this complaint, as it appears there may have been some misunderstandings regarding our services. As a marketing company partnered directly with ******, we take pride in our transparency and the value we provide to our clients. This customer initially engaged with another company before booking an appointment with our company, and at that time, we clearly communicated our offerings, which include marketing services across ****** and 80 other directories. This was explained on a recorded line, and we also demonstrated our website and partnership with *******
We have made significant efforts to support the customers business, as evidenced by the recent screenshare appointment where we reviewed our services and platform with the customer. Unfortunately, we were not made aware of any dissatisfaction until this complaint, and we would have appreciated the opportunity to address any concerns directly.

I am rejecting this response because: I was not surprised that the business responded the way youd expect liars to respond. More lies and expressions of outrage that I would question their honesty. They had told me at the outset that if I were not happy with their actions, I could have a refund. Now they are denying my refund and cancelling my account. I feel that a refund is needed.

Straight Marketing began on Jan. 2, 2024. Initial invoice was $249 $199 per month thereafter. July 9, I called to cancel services. I realized that they were still deducting $199 monthly. I called today, January 7 and spoke to a representative where he saw the call on July 9 to cancel. He put me on hold. When her returned, he said I was to have a review and said that I failed to have the review. I researched my email records and never recieved a review date, and specifically told the representative on July 9, 2024 to cancel. I also requested to be reimbursed from July to present (jan. 2025). He said he couldn't do that. I want reimbursement from July, 2024 to January 2025. $1393.00Business Response

On July 9th, the customer initiated a cancellation request and engaged in a 17-minute conversation with a billing supervisor. During this discussion, the customer expressed her desire to cancel due to issues with ******'s verification process. The supervisor assured her that alternative methods would be explored with ******, leading the customer to agree to remain enrolled in the program. It is important to note that there was no failed review at that time.
Subsequently, on January 7th, 2025, the customer contacted us following a monthly charge, seeking a refund for services provided. She claimed to have requested a cancellation but did not recall her decision to continue with the program. We offered to provide a copy of the recorded call, which confirms her agreement to remain enrolled. The customer responded by threatening to file a negative complaint with the Better Business Bureau. On August 30, 2024, our new business paid Straight Marketing $1128 to verify existing online listings and to add us to all other 70+ platforms to help increase our online presence through SEO, Search Engine Optimization. Upon checking their progress recently through my own online research, they had completely ignored my listing information requests that was discussed repeatedly during my initial set up call. As anyone can imagine, this is a very important part of a businesses' income producing strategy. They failed greatly with this and my expectations. I knew that I could no longer trust our business and livelihood with Straight Marketing. Once I called to ask for refund, they were very argumentative and said I passed refund window of 72 hours, knowing full well that NO progress of their work (or lack of it) would show up within that time. They refused to allow me to speak directly to anyone else to demand a full refund. Correcting any issue would not be acceptable because they already messed up SO MUCH that as I said, I cannot continue to trust this company going forward.Business Response

It is regrettable that we have been adversely affected by ******'s processes and guidelines.
This customer enrolled in our SEO program on August 30th, during which we listed their business on 60 additional directories to enhance their ****** placement. The listing process commenced immediately upon enrollment, as we begin work promptly upon receipt of payment. A follow-up call was scheduled for September 20th, the same day the customer enrolled, to allow the 2-3 week period necessary for initial results and increased traffic to manifest. We were transparent about this timeline and confident in our process, which is why the appointment was set for 9/20/24.
Today, the customer contacted us with concerns and requested a refund. Despite our attempts to assist, the customer became combative and disconnected the call.

We hired Straight Marketing in March/April of 2024 to help us figure out our complexed ****** issue and nothing was accomplished. We paid the $1,600 total and they didnt do anything they said they would. They were rude, at one point just before 24 hours and we saw initial signs that they were all talk we attempted to get our money back. One of the sales team members lied to us saying he was the "main boss" when I attempted to talk to a manager. They are a scam, sucked a large chunk of money out of us that is a really big deal for a little company like ours.
