              We purchased a sofa on 10/20/2019 from Ashley along with a 5 year protection plan. In February 2024, my wife spilled a cup of edible paraffin wax (which is a food product) near the sofa and some of it splashed onto it. Having approximately 10 months left on our warranty, we placed a call to Ashley to have it cleaned or replaced since the warranty covers "all household foods and beverages excluding chewing gum" . We called Ashley to report this and they dispatched a service person. He looked at it briefly and said he would have to return. A week later, we received a call from Ashley telling us that the spill was not covered even though it explicitly says that it is in the agreement.

              SAME as ******* below, they are refusing to pick up the recliner that is not the one intended on getting unless i reselect right now. i have asked for store credit, and they will not allow it. Also, i wanted the one online and they insisted they could not get it, yet i was able to go online and order it and it's being delivered tomorrow. They lied just to get the comission.i have offered restock fee and they still will not come get it, will not refund me, and will not give me a store credit. WORST attitudes ever in the fairless Pa office! Horrible customer service, it does not have anything in writing on the receipt for this situation. it's too big for my space the sales lady KNEW it was not what i wanted. She bad mouthed the online store and discredited them. Shameful. I want a ******* refund!
