    If I was able to give them a zero I would. Part came damaged and missing pieces and was also the wrong color. I contacted them to let them know what happened and even sent in pictures of the part. The person on the phone admitted they use front online to to make the item stick out more and they also admitted the picture shown was not accurate. I paid almost 400 dollars for a piece of cheap plastic. These people keep telling me ***** hours for a decision to get my money back. Its been weeks!

    This is a bait and switch operation; item is no longer listed on their website; didn't state they were a drop shipper, but did state the order was in stock (I have an additional screen capture to that effect). I ordered one each Supreme Suspensions - HD Black Multi-Function Hitch Skid Plate on August 22, which was supposed to be delivered today. So I did some research after the fact and learned they've done quite a lot of business like this with a large number of customers, many of whom have posted complaints online, whether because of receiving the wrong items, or flat out not getting a refund back. I did interface with them via web chat, but pretty much got the same treatment many of the others here have; no refund until they supposedly get their money back from the supplier. Well, that's just wrong, and given the long list of complaints here about them, their actions might even be tantamount to fraud under 18 U.S. Code 1341 - Frauds and swindles. I have screen captures of everything, including the web chat I mentioned, and will not let this rest until I receive a full refund of my $207.78 that I paid for the item, inclusive of shipping and sales tax.

    Car ID is a scam they sell you damaged parts!!! I ordered a hood from them it was damaged and I send it back they kept my money And the part .they will not give me a receipt of the purchase they keep telling me it takes 72 hours to get a receipt or speak to a manager!!! It has been over months since I hear from them.

    Website advertises easy returns but does not mention return shipping fees and restocking fees. Recd the wrong part which they are willing to reimburse about half of what I paid. Before I knew this policy, I reordered to get the part I needed and it arrived broken.

    I ordered spyder headlights through carid, got the wrong ones in the mail and sent them back. They said they were damaged in transit so now because of that I had to wait for my refund due to an investigation with ****** Ive been waiting a month for my refund and today they say they cannot give me a refund because they said I lied about not putting. ****** the manager was fighting with me and saying that I installed the headlights which I did not, he then went on to say that they have a recording of me saying I installed them. NEVER ONCE DID I. They are now holding my money and have their product back, which I sent in an unbroken box and no damage to headlights or box. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

    We purchased a part that when it arrived it turned out to be the incorrect part. We took it out of the box that it was shipped in and immediately realized it was wrong. Contacted company and started the return. We shipped the item back in the exact same package. I received an email stating they would not refund because it was returned to them improperly packaged. They also said it might get shipped back to me or discarded. After multiple email they cant tell me if they still have the part and offered a $15 gift certificate as opposed to the $100 part.

    Dishonest people with no integrity. Before I ordered a pair of front turn signal units for my FJ Cruiser, I called and talked to someone in their technical support department, asking if these units would come with installation instructions. I was assured that they would. When the units came, there were no instructions. I again called their tech support, talking to the same person, who said that yes, there were instructions and that he would have them emailed to me. What I got in the way of an email, was that there were no installation instructions, that I would have to take it to my mechanic to install. I then promptly returned them, but in talking to their customer support, was told I would be charged $12 for a fee (stocking, or something). I said that they assured me there were installation instructions before I placed the order and there were none. I asked if it was fair to charge me such a fee, when they were the ones that were in the wrong. The service rep said she would talk to her supervisor. I was on hold for awhile and then the service rep came back on and said her supervisor would NOT waive the fee. That is it. I will never do business with these people again.

    I just ordered a part for my Colorado truck Monday and it arrived today. It is exactly what I ordered and was delivered in great condition. I did not read all the bad reviews or see they are in bankruptcy before I ordered, so I was anxious about how quick I would receive the part or if it would be the part I expected. Maybe they have reorganize their business and got their act together. A guy named ****** handled my order and he was very professional. I would not hesitate to order from them again.

    Dont expect the address that you entered on your online order to be the address printed on the shipping label. Beware that they dont print the unit number on the shipping label and then treat you like an idiot when you didnt get your package. It is incredibly annoying when ***** sends you a photo of where your package was delivered that is not your house or apartment, yet customer service insists that it was delivered to your address, like you dont know where you live. I have proof that the unit number did not print on the label yet they kept telling me that my order was delivered to my address. I asked via email, what unit was on the address label and was told it was my unit. They lied, the unit was not printed on the shipping label. Dont check for yourself, just provide a lame answer to shift the blame and responsibility to the customer. Perhaps their ordering and shipping systems dont connect to each other or is incapable of printing a unit, suite, or apartment on the label. There was the number 333 handwritten in black marker way off to the side of my address. I have no idea what this number means because it doesnt match any part of my address. Dont lie to people and tell them that their package was delivered to their address or the address they entered while placing their order online. If your system cant print a unit number on the label then fix it. If you require someone to manually write a unit, suite or apartment number on a label then make sure they are competent. I was made to feel like it was my fault that I didnt receive my order and must have entered the wrong unit number during the ordering process. In reality, it was an error on their part and they refused to admit the mistake or to provide accurate information about what was really on the label. Fix the problem, accept responsibility for your mistakes and don't treat customers like it was their fault when it wasn't.

    Be warned, I ordered four wheels which were an American Racing product. I read their customer return policy, which was shipping plus $12 per item. They charge me 25% of the retail purchase price for restocking. This is outrageous. Their customer service phone representatives are outside ***************** and react as robots when you try to have a dialogue regarding their egregious policies. When I discussed these policies with Tire Rack or other retailers, they just shake their head in disbelief. Do the math, if you order four wheels by mistake, you will be charged 25% of the total retail price. This is not listed in their return policy brochure.
