    I am the cosigner for my son's UNCC apartment, The ***** in *********, NC, operating under ******** ****** Communities at UNCC. Internet service is "provided" by Single Digits through a contract with ******** ****** Communities, not directly to the student renters. Over 21 apartments at The **** have had no internet since at least January 8, 2024. When students attempt to resolve the issue through The ****'s office (H*****) on location, they are told to handle the issue themselves directly with Single Digits. Subsequent inquiries for assistance at the front office promise an almost always unavailable manager will contact the students to no avail. After five visits/calls/emails to the front office, plus five attempts for assistance from Single Digits tech support, we are filing a BBB complaint. We will also place formal complaints with the UNCC Housing Department, Single Digits BBB, and the NC AG and continue up the ladder until consistent and effective results for an internet provider are achieved. (Single Digits advised the next available tech appointment on location is at least 2 to 3 weeks out, and someone will have to get back to the renters to schedule the appointment. Please keep in mind these are college students in student-only housing without internet access during college semesters in 2024. The outages at this location are regular (see reviews), and the Single Digits rating is 1.25 out of 5. I want the internet service available immediately to all students at The ***** a dependable internet service provider contracted, and a fair refund provided to each renter depending upon days of no internet service. If students are your targeted market, then at least provide reliable and usable internet service and be actively involved in a resolution.     My complex has a contract with SingleDigits. Not only has my apartment been without internet for the past 5 weeks, I've had reoccurring issues with them that they put on the backburner and never fix. I have been on "escalated" and "senior engineers are working on it" for the past 4 out of 5 weeks. 2 weeks ago, after the original 3 weeks of first contact, they decided to send someone out. They sent an individual contractor out that didn't know anything, and the issue wasnt fixed. They put the blame on faulty equiptment. So okay, faulty equiptment, it should be just an easy replacement , right? wrong. Its now been another 2 weeks of "senior engineers are working on this" and noone is being sent out, I'm completely without internet in my apartment all while finals are going on in STUDENT LIVING. What does "Senior Engineers are working on this" have to take 2 weeks for? It's an easy replacement? The helpdesk people are out-sourced and know absolutely nothing, while refusing to be transparent about anything. All I want is my internet fixed. They can't even do the bare minimum and be transparent. Noone responds to emails sent, the helpdesk people are useless, and every time I ask for a supervisor, they ALWAYS come back with "Oh we have no supervisor available today". "But we will call you back" (Spoiler alert, I've supposed to have numerous call backs that never happened).

    My daughter, ** *******, is a student at App State university. Single Digits provides the internet service at the Finmore apartment complex on Shadowline Drive in Boone, NC, where she resides. Of course we have no option for a different provider. Her internet has been down for several days, at least 7 days. All attempts (we have made many many phone calls) to request assistance or for a technician to correct the issue, either in person or remove have proven unsuccessful. She now has to leave her apartment to get internet access somewhere else so that she may complete homework and online exams. Please assist with a speedy solution.

    Cannot get a techinican to come out and fix the ethernet. I'm a cosigner for my son at The Domain, a student apartment complex for the Universtiy of Missouri in Columbia MO (**** ** ******* ***** ******** ** ***** [he's apartment 112]). I'm paying the bills. My son moved in on 8/19. The ethernet plugs do not work. No signal at all. We called that day and the agent tried to ping the apartment and didn't get a signal, he said a 'senior engineer' would call. He did not. We called a few other times with same response. Management at The Domain is helping us try to get a technician out there with no luck. There's a patch panel in a closet somewhere that connects all the units together, we would like this checked out. We do have the free community wifi that is only roughly 25 mbps and that's not enough for streaming, IT classwork and video games. In fact the free wifi buffers constantly. We were guaranteed high speed internet and Single Digits is failing. This has been going on for 3 weeks and counting. All we want is someone to come out and fix the ethernet.

    Our internet went out on Wednesday 8/23 and has remained out with no response from the company. Anytime I’ve asked to speak to someone working on the claim I’ve been denied being told we would hear back when the issue was resolved. This is a college apartment living where internet is crucial to our success in school. They are not taking our problem seriously and I’ve nearly run out of my high speed data meaning I’ll be virtually unable to do work for my classes. The latest time I’ve called they have even started getting an attitude with me for constantly calling. I was also told that they could fix the problem but then they would not know what caused it and therefore would not be able to prevent it if it occurred again, which appears to me that they are withholding our internet access.

    Single Digits is the internet provider to my apartment complex. Everything worked fine until a week ago, since then the LAN doesn't work, the WIFI hovers around 5 mbps with constant crashes. Calling customer service, they don't have any answers but are very sorry which almost makes me more angry to hear. I am supposedly getting a supervisor or technician to call me back today. There is also supposedly a tech onsite to fix the problem but so far nothing has been fixed. ALL reviews for this company on here and on **** are NEGATIVE. I'm paying $700 for a small apartment with basically 0 internet, and somebody owes me something for this lack of service....

    My apartment complex uses Single Digits for internet, and I have never experienced worse "customer service." The internet has been out for SIX days with no resolution in sight. I have contacted Single Digits every single day, and keep getting the runaround. They want to troubleshoot devices over and over, even though the entire building is out. They are unable or unwilling to provide any useful information about when it will be fixed. They make contradictory statements in the same breath, and tell outright lies. I was told each day that a technician would call me, and yet no one calls. In the same conversation, I was told no technician had been scheduled, and that a technician had been scheduled. I asked when was the technician coming, and they told me they don't have that information. I want my internet fixed!

    Single Digits internet is continuously losing internet service. It must of happened a dozen times in the past year. And it takes them days to have it operating again. Last year we didn’t have it for a month and we’re still charged. It’s becoming a bad joke. I’ve never had problems with other providers and can’t change because the development I live in uses them the solely for everyone. It’s Bellamy Coastal Student Housing in zConway SC. They are the absolute worst Internet provider in South Carolina.. and their technicians in maintenance have no idea what you’re doing because they say they’re coming and don’t show up and when they do they say it’s fixed but it isn’t still no service. I’m at a point and not only me everyone in this community has no idea what to do.

    I am currently living in a complex that uses Single Digits as the sole provider. My internet has been out for 2 days now and every time we contact support all they can tell us is someone is on the issue and they have no timeframe not additional information. I have not been contacted regarding the issue for a follow up.
