            The interest rate from my student loan with **** ****, was transferred to FirstMark services. Firstmark services has increase the rate over the past 8 yrs since servicing my loan. I have been paying my loan for over 8 yrs and have not paid any progress with these payments. Some of the those payments have not been applied properly. **** **** Student Loans uses FirstMark to service my Loans. My debt is still owed to **** **** Student loan.

            This company has been extremely difficult to deal with since they took over my son's loan. You cannot count on auto debit and you cannot set the date to sooner if you have been making extra payments and the dashboard gives misinformation, on one page it says one date but on the auto debit it says another. I have spent hours on the phone with them! When they did attempt to assist they took a payment and made it retroactive to payments missed (because of the auto pay date set to three months ahead even though the main page said the next month) but I have no record of it on the dashboard on their website, I requested a print out and I was told they couldn't print special reports. I requested a screen capture of my account information as they could see it on their end but I was told they couldn't do that, I call BS! I can request that information from my bank regarding my mortgage. Paying this off with my line of credit just to be done with them! Terrible company practices!!
