Very dishonest sales tactics. I was hosed by their salesperson and multiple attempts to reach the Sales Manager have been unsuccessful. The car should not even have been for sale in the condition it was in, which was not fully disclosed.

Would not purchase a vehicle here again, and felt coerced into doing so this time around.

Purchased a 2019 Honda Odyssey for our growing family, the van had been sold/traded in again a few months earlier but was assured that it was for financing issues. Long story short, within 2 months of ownership we had the van for 3 weeks. The transmission was replaced (was supposed to be remanufactured but upon pickup I found out it was used w/ 81k miles). They told me it was a 10k repair, though brand new quoted from Honda is 4k. On my own dime I bought a new key, replaced the right front axle shaft and still dealt with transmission issues and lack of power (This is scary when turning left and the pedal is dead!!!!). A few days later I had an error message pop up that left the van in "limp home mode", come to find out that the active shutter grille was destroyed (missing 6 of 8 louvers and electrical taped in place, with other obvious signs of unreported damage). They bought the van back for less than I paid and I also lost out on the money that I put into repairs, under the assumption that I buy something else off their lot. If I was in a position where losing money wouldn't hurt so bad I would have walked away...but rock and a hard place. The worst part is they listed the van for sale again, and I fear they sold it...again. Lastly, and this is only part of the whole story, I asked them to do an alignment and rotate the tires on the new vehicle we purchased... they agreed on the "We owe, you owe" document, but then didn't do it. I would push on getting it done, but honestly I never want this dealership to touch any of my vehicles ever again.

Purchase used car with trade in.
After deal was made they had me come in to resign agreement yet already had trade in.
Sent me silver warranty membership card. Agreement states I have gold platinum.
After a month still waiting for them to file the title. They have my trade in title but are not cooperative, don't return calls, rude.
Doesn't follow signed agreement. Not sure that's legal.
I will never buy or recommend Corwin.
    Stay away!!!

Please think twice before shopping here. I communicated with Corwin via email regarding the vehicle I was looking to purchase. We agreed on a price of the specific vehicle. When I met with the salesperson, I was informed they did not have the vehicle we agreed upon. The salesperson informed me, the car we agreed upon was being built. He said, they had one car that was similar. No one from Corwin informed me the car was being built, or the car would not be available at our agreed upon date and time. All the salesperson would say, No worries, no worries. Obviously, the salesperson's tactic was to sell me a car on the lot. This tactic (some would say is considered, bait and switch). I walk away from the salesperson to the reply of, Have a good day.

I have a service department review. BE CAREFUL WITH WHAT THEY TRY TO TELL YOU!!!
Took my 2014 Tundra in because it was starting rough in the morning. Then would run fine rest of the starts that day. Long and short of it, needed a new fuel pump. 163,000 mikes replaced fuel pump, seemed fine. One year, 12,000 mile warranty. At 176,000 and 13 months, it started doing the same thing. Took it in. They said the fuel pump was fine, filter fine. After 2-3 hours, declared fuel pump was ok, that I had coolant inside a couple of cylinders, and that I would need a new ENGINE. Can't remember exact quote but probably $8-10K. I told them no thanks. So ran it like normal, just rough started every morning. I'm now at 186,000+ miles, and it's getting cold. Really rough starting. So I took it to Accelerated Diagnostic in Bennington. Short version, they said the fuel pump was reading that the fuel had 85% ethanol. Instead of reading that the fuel was 5-10% ethanol. So it was flooding the engine w more fuel than needed. The fuel pump sensor was not updated w the software to make it give the engine the correct amount of fuel to start properly. Accelerated replaced the "fuel pump, updated the ECM (PCM), SOFTWARE REFLASH and reset the alcohol." Not sure what that all means, but truck has started beautifully and not sputtered at first start since fix was put in. Total cost $2339.
CORWIN TOYOTA IN BELLEVUE would of replaced my engine, $8-10K, and the problem would of still existed. I will never go to a dealership ever again, and if you get work done, May I suggest Accelerated Diagnostic in Bennington. Ask for Matt. Tell them Joe sent ya. Thank you

Unfortunately the truck did have coolant in two of the cylinders. We hope this truck keeps running with the fix that was done by the other shop. Chances are that you will have issue down the road. One of our certified Toyota Technicians looked at the truck.

I’m not one to leave reviews, but I have had such a bad experience here. I needed a bigger vehicle because we welcomed a baby. I was very upfront that I was on a tight budget and worried about the cost. I ended up finding a Tundra that I fell in love with, and it was a little over budget, but I could make it work. They assured me that everything was fine with the vehicle and of course the minute I drive it off the lot, my check engine light turns on. A few months later (3), my brakes go out. I’m stranded. Go figure. I fixed the brakes, then spent over $1k fixing whatever else I can’t remember because I don’t speak mechanics. Now there’s a slow leak in my front differential which needs fixed. I’m being quoted an additional $500 for fixes that “can wait, but better to get it done sooner rather than later.” Also, as I write this, I’m stranded AGAIN because my truck just won’t start. After working diligently with the saleswoman and being assured that this vehicle was taken care of mechanically, I was taken advantage of. These costs, and if I have to get a new vehicle, will financially ruin us for a while.

Terrible customer service. Fees were not disclosed, and the manager would not budge. They have lost my business.

I purchased a 2004 Toyota 4 runner on 9/6/24. I went to look at it and nothing major seemed wrong, but when I test drove it with Nathan he asked to just drive around the parking lot and not on the street, as that was now the common practice with used cars now. I didn’t think much of it, that’s was my mistake. Nathan said that the car had been checked out and was mechanically sound.

I took the vehicle home and while driving home a check engine light came on. Upon further diagnosis it was found:

    1) both cv axle boots are torn, and have been for some time, requiring new front axles.

    2) The lower exhaust pipe was broken at the flange, but had been secured with tape and some form of a glue, which failed after a day.

    3) The catalytic converter and oxygen sensors were bad. This caused the check engine light to come on. As a test, I cleared the code and it would hold off for roughly a half hour of driving. Then you could clear it and rinse and repeat.

I understand it’s a used vehicle, I also understand that the car fax report was clean, but I feel that these issues would and it should have been spotted during a trade in inspection, and they were ignored.

It is also unsettling that when talking about price, the fact got brought up on how clean, and mechanically wonderful the vehicle was.

Bought a used Prius from them. It was inspected and came out of their service department while I was there. I was assured that everything was in working condition. Less than a month later I've put $4300 into it to make the car safe to drive. Front and rear brakes, struts, ride height sensor have all been replaced. The salesman laughed at me in the phone and hung up when I asked them the stand behind the vehicle they sold since they assured me the brakes were good. Of course they started making noises about a week after I bought it. Bill Borchers is the salesman I worked with. I would not recommend going to Corwin for any reason.

Part changers not problem solvers. Will nickle and dime you to death. Paid Corwin about 3500 for nothing. Fixed it myself, after Corwin fixed my Corrolla, I fixed it myself for 800.. None of the parts they replaced related to the actual problem.

The vehicle was presented to us from the customer stating that "another shop says the ECU needs reprograming", the ECU had been replaced at some point in the past.. We confirmed the vehicle had a code P0633 for an "ECM vin mismatch". we wrote the vin to the ECM and the vehicle did not exhibit any running issues.. When the vehicle returned several days later it was running running poorly. At this point, because we were unable to confirms that the ECU is the correct part number, we recommended replacing the ECU and stated that we were concerned there may be additional issues and that we would need to rerun tests once the ECU was replaced. After replacing the ECU we drove the vehicle for 20 + miles and it ran fine. The vehicle did set a code for a catalyst efficiency code. The customer elected to take the vehicle.
