    On April 29th late afternoon, I contacted the dealer by phone about a vehicle which I was interested in looking at. They recommended I put $500 down to hold the car in case another buyer would come in. The next morning I was contacted by another dealer about a car I was also interested in and I decided to purchase. I contacted Corwin Toyota promptly to cancel the hold. I was told they were working on it "now". 2 days later and nothing has been done. After attempting to request the hold be cancelled a 2nd time I have received no replies or action taken. The $500 is still on my credit card with zero pending actions.

    I went with my son to purchase a used car from Corwin Toyota. I was going to help him with the down payment. He had been working with ***** on the purchase. We drove the car around for a little while. We asked for a checklist of things wrong with the car. ***** told me everything was working fine and he would get us. I had to co-sign for the vehicle so we had to wait for them to run my credit. After two hours if waiting we signed papers. We agreed to the high mileage warranty. I was assured that it would cover major parts but was not given a copy of the coverage. We signed all of the papers and left the dealership. One week later, my son was driving the car and the car engine light came on. The next day, it started making a really loud noise when it was driven. We called ***** and he said that we would have to bring it in to get serviced. I told him that I did not want the car anymore and he said that that was not possible to return it or trade it for another car. We set up an appointment to take the car in where when my son got there they said they were gonna charge $200 just to look at the car. My son left the dealership because he refused to pay the $200. I called the sales manager and he agreed to wave the service fee. I got the papers for my son and took the car to get the tags and my son gave me papers, which included a 50 point checklist that the service man gave him the day he went to get it serviced It showed that there were major things wrong with the car over $4000 worth of repairs. Major parts such as the catalytic converter, the muffler, and some other parts. When I called the warranty company to get the details about the warranty, they said that the only thing covered was the engine that those parts would not be covered. I totally was lied to and taken advantage on this sale. I overpaid for the vehicle and was given a car with $4000 of repairs.

    I bought a car with aftermarket modifications from this dealership a little over a year ago with a 5 year bumper to bumper warranty about a week ago the I noticed there was coolant in the oil so I called the warranty department and they told me to tow it to the makers dealership (Subaru) the warranty department is now telling them they won’t cover it because there’s been a modification mad to the vehicle no matter what and I can not get anyone from corwin Toyota to give me any information about what to do or why they sold me this warranty knowing it was almost useless or possibly outright fraudulent

    Purchased vehicle on 1/15/25 Died 1/15/25. Car engine overheated. Heat never worked. Now im ubering to work at 70 bucks a day. Carfax info incorrect said no accidents vehicle was in accident. So upset . Told sales guy how important this vehicle was. Took me on short drive so fault would not show.

    I purchased a used Honda Ridgeline from Corwin Toyota on Sept 30, 2024. I traded in my Infiniti . I was given $9105.00 for my Infiniti and paid $13,694.00 in cash. When I went to the DMV in October 2024 I was told I could not pay the tax and license because there is no title for the vehicle. I contacted Corwin and was told they would have a title for me in 6 weeks. Corwin had me come to the dealership and pick up dealer plates for the vehicle. Six weeks later, Dec 10 , 2024 , I contacted Corwin and still no title. So they updated the dealer plates which expired in Dec 2024. I did file a complaint with the Nebraska Licensing Board for Nebraska Auto Dealerships. The state investigator ** * ****** *****, came to our home, visited with me and took the dealer plates. The investigator did communicate with Corwin . Corwin General Manager, *******, told the investigator he would contact me and work with me . Corwin did NOT contact me and will not return my call . Since I cannot license the vehicle I cannot drive the vehicle but I must continue paying the auto insurance as it sits in our driveway . I am asking for a full refund. We have only put 374 miles on the vehicle. we stopped driving the vehicle when we learned there was no title available. My husband is a disabled veteran and we are both on fixed incomes. This is a financial hardship for us to pay for a vehicle we cannot use.

    My wife and i were intending to buy a used vehicle from Corwin. We put a deposit of 1500 down on friday and were going to come back Monday to do paperwork. Over the weekend my wife decided she did not want vehicle due to a lot of work needing done to it. I have placed numerous calls to **** ****** and our sales person with no response from ****. Our sales person said when he spoke to mike he claimed "they shook hands on buying im not returning the deposit'. Again no paperwork was signed other than the receipt for the 1500 deposit which is attached. There was never a mention of a non-refundable deposit nor was there any paperwork signed stating so.

    Corwin Toyota both failed to adhere to scheduled appointment time causing expenses incurred by customer, and caused more mechanical issues with vehicle causing additional repair costs by customer. Contact has been made with Corwin and with Toyota Corporate Customer Service and time allowed, with no solution. Please see document attached for full explanation.

    Hello,

    This is regarding my pre-owned car 2023 Hyundai Kona which I bought from Corwin Toyota of Bellevue on 06/22/2024. For some reason, I haven't received title for this car even after five months. I personally visited the dealer's office multiple times to get an update on this , but I never received any proper explanation on the delay. I was given dealers number plate and was asked to use it for my car. Please find the details about the car and transaction date and time. I also attached the purchase contract and VIN lookup from DMV which shows the car title is still with old primary name. Requesting your help in resolving this issue by getting the title released for my car from the dealer. Please let me know if I need to provide any further information.

    On 9/6/24 I went and looked at a 2004 Toyota rav4. When I went to look at it the salesman asked me to come in later in the morning as he had a personal matter to attend to. I obliged.

    When I went to test drive the car, the salesman asked me to just test drive in the parking lot and surrounding side streets, as it was custom there for the test driving of used vehicles. I drove the car as requested, noticed nothing amiss.

    Offered to sit down and talk about pricing, I was told that the price was the price as the car was so clean and mechanically sound.

    I paid for the vehicle and took possession of it. While I was driving it home the check engine light came on. As it was a 20 year old car I didn’t get worried.

    Upon a deep inspection the next day I discovered:

    1). The error code involved new oxygen sensors and a catalytic converter. The code doesn’t appear until after roughly 30 minutes of driving. You can then erase the code and it will return in roughly half an hour.

    2) the exhaust pipe was broken in between the converter and the muffler. It was poorly repaired with tape and a piece of wire.

    3). The cv axle boots were torn, but they had been packed with grease and the boot pulled back over them. This is not a customary repair, but appeared to be a way to hide the eventual click in failing cv axles.

    4). In order to fix the axles, you have to remove other suspension parts that require new ones, as the old can’t be reinstalled.

    In addition, one of the tires had a low amount of air, and I was told the tires would be correctly inflated upon finishing the paperwork, and that never happened.

    I can upload pictures of the issues and receipts for parts purchased if desired.

They also declined extended service contract that may have helped with repair, also signing that CTB will not be liable for any repairs to the vehicle. Customer also signed the WE/OWE that states nothing owed nothing promised.

    I purchased a truck from Corwin Toyota of Bellevue. While expressing my needs for a truck that could tow a trailer, the salesperson informed me that the truck wasn't set up for towing but they had the parts in their parts department onsite. I could purchase in order to use the truck for towing a trailer. After the purchase, I contacted the parts department at Corwin Toyota of Bellevue who informed me they did not have parts to configure the trucks capability to tow a trailer. I have attempted to come to a resolution with the company with no success. They now will not respond to me.
