Had to borrow $1500 for an emergency car repair on 3/28/2025. Here it is now 7/18/2025 and I owe $1,644. After 8 successful payments (on time every 2 weeks) I owe more than I even borrowed! According to the payment schedule I'll be paying well into December 2025. It is so disappointing how this company takes advantage of people whom have nowhere else to turn. If we are desperate enough to have to secure a loan then the pay back process should be a lot more affordable. Technically, I've paid $2,642 since March 2025. I am so upset about it.Business Response

Somehow this company found my name/number and started texting and calling me. I have received more than 30 calls and text just today. I have repeatedly asked to be removed from the call list. The messages are alarming as they're stating that someone has applied for a loan with my information. This is harassment and can't be legal. I want it to STOP NOW.Business Response

I took out a loan with maxlend in the amount of $2750 on 3/28/2025 due to an hard times. I have made 11 payments of $242.25 totaling in $2664.75. I went to check how much I had left because I knew I was getting close to the $2750. They are saying I will be paying weekly till 1/16/2025. That interest rate seems insanely high and majorly predatory. I fully intend to pay back what I borrowed but I cant afford thousands of dollars in interest like that in hard times. Especially when it was not made clear that the interest was going to be that high and is not easily stated.Business Response

MaxLend has debited my bank account $616.98 in the last 3 days. I paid them $205.66 on 6/30, which was due, and they debited my bank account another $205.66 on 7/1 and on 7/2 which I did not approved. I called the company today 7/2 and asked why and they hung up on me. I want to report them as they are scamming me out of money with a very high interest rate of ******%. My original amount of the loan was $750.00. I have paid them over $1,439.62 since March and only $44.37 has gone towards the principal. This is absolutely not right at all. I want the loan to be cancelled and be reimbursed for their high racketeering practices in the amount of $689.62. They can keep the $750.00 of the original loan amount from the $1439.62 I have paid so far. These companies need to be put out of business.Business Response

I had borrowed $500.00 from Maxlend. They are a rip-off. they charge consumers so much interest, it's ridiculous. I took out a loan in January of 2025 to pay off some bills. The company would not invest anything in the principal, only in the interest. Now it's been 6 months and I only have ***** put towards the principal. This is insane. Agreed to a 2month loan for 400 paying back $480 after interest over 2 months, $50 to the principle every week for 8 weeks. I received a call from a collection agency about a loan I knew nothing about. I've never even heard of this company before they said the loan was taking out and April of 2024 and they are trying to get payment. Why would a company first of all wait over a year to contact someone about a loan they supposedly took from them or took out I should say I know nothing about this company it is not me that they are talking about are referring to but they have all of my information I have made a police report and I guess I will contact my lawyer if this is not resolved. Once again never heard of the company never had any contact with this company. This is all fraudBusiness Response

Application Date 9/16/2024 Effective Date 9/17/2024 Loan No.:322216240 In September I applied for a loan with MaxLend in the amount of $400.00. However I was then notified that Final Maturity Date was going to be 5/30/2025. My annual percentage rate was ******%. This is not what I was advised during my call with the representative when I got the loan. I paid it off in its entirety, it was on auto pay and there was no way for me to remove this without adding another bank account but I felt that Id been taken advantage of. I dont know that theres anything that can be done about this but Id like to report this business and make it known that its likely not the best lender for consumers out there.Business Response
